I was thinking you might have ejaculated whilst sleeping and not realized. Or more likely, due to not being able to wash the area as much as normal, things might have just got a bit grubby down there. All it takes is a bit of something to get in there and it will cause for urine to come out at a strange angle of double steam. It\'s not a problem and will correct itself in time.

Don\'t worry about nocturnal erections. I had painful erections for weeks. You just have to put up with it. Everything is tight and swollen, so you skin can\'t accommodate your erections and therefore it\'s painful.

Healing is a real mental roller coaster, but you are 15 days post op now and your penis is still there. You are through the worst of it.

Real good progress. Today is 3 weeks post-op. Swelling is gone. Appearance is starring to normalize. The incision wounds are close to healing. I think perhaps another 3 or 4 days will seal it. I\'m really looking forward to resuming my normal activity, including sex and exercise. I\'ll definitely post some pics soon, but for now I\'m waiting for Sandy to pass. Thank you all again for the well wishes and advice, especially Hoddle

Posted a pic here. Almost 4 weeks post-op. I had check up with Dr S on Thurs. He was pleased with my progress. The swelling has returned a bit, but he said that\'s expected for 3-6 months. He was pleased with the healing of the wounds. He even suggested that I could probably have sex, but we agreed to wait another 10 days. I managed to give myself an orgasm by massaging my head--damn I needed that-4 weeks of backwash. I know the appearance doesn\'t look much chanaged than pre-op, but undertand the imporvement of how scary the 3-day post op pics looked. As before, Dr stresses that the final appearance won\'t be apparanet until close to 6 months post-op, so patience is important here. For now, I\'m looking forward to starting the 1-pound weight Hanger--to get rid of any internal scarring which caused a retraction; and also, I want to come up with my plan for removing the hair at top of shaft. When this is done, I plan to cease any and all phallo for the rest of my life -- praise God! Be safe gents, and don\'t do anything you may regret. The benefit is not worth th potential pain and suffering. I\'ll updated periodically over the coming 6 months.

Looks good braveheart! Great to see things breaking your way for a change. For hair on the shaft skin I recommend electrolysis. I had many sessions as my supra pubic area was pulled down farther and farther from \"tugging\" when I was trying to stretch out some Foreskin, and then from the implant that I had put in for that same reason. It does take a few sessions, each time they come back fewer and finer, but usually after 3 or 4 its totally gone ., For me it was well worth the 60 to 70 dollars for each one. I tried laser once, it cost 300 bucks and didn\'t even give as good a result as one session of electrolysis. As far as pain they both hurt quite a bit, but its tolerable if you take pain meds before you go. So thats my experience with shaft hair Removal , for what its worth. Good luck man.

Thanks, marknmau. I actually tried electrolysis about 15 years ago. It was a lady probably 70 years old. It was brutally slow, one hair at a time. I went to 4 or 5 sessions, each about 30 minutes long, and didn\'t really see much of a difference. I don\'t know if it\'s because I had so much hair, or the effectiveness of the treatment. In any event, I gave that up. Is there a new, more technologically updated procedure for electrolysis which would make that more effective than the prior treatment I had? Is there a certain specialist that I should seek? How weird was it that I had a 70 year old lady plucking hairs out of my shaft! Laser removal is the other option, and I know there are limits there as well. Here is another option below I found on the Internet. It looks like a reasonable option. Please let me know your opinions on these options. Thanks again.

Congratulations Braveheart, I\'m so glad that things have worked out for you. Your picture is a big improvement over the previous.

I took the advice of someone from the board and contacted Wade to see if there is anything Dr.C can do in reguards to my situation. I haven\'t heard back yet, but I\'m very glad I contacted him. It took a lot of strength and work to come back from the place I was.

Anyway, I am truely glad for you Braveheart, I\'m hoping all of the terrible feelings that were trapped inside after the disfigurement are gone and you get back to your life and family.

Thanks,

I shave my shaft, and even as a very hairy man I only need to do it every three days or so if I want it really clean, I usually do it just once a week though. Just two seconds in the shower.

I have gotten \"laser\" hair Removal on my back in Asia, its super cheap over here, about $400 for a complete session (7 treatments spaced a month apart). It was a Cold type Infared Pulse Light, so technically not laser but most people lump them all together. It basically looks like a cash register hand scanner, and they just flash a segment of the area for about a second a piece, and the cold version is like frozen at the tip to cause less irritation or burn, a bit chilly though. Something like this could easily be done for the shaft of a penis, maybe just two flashes per treatment.

Hey, 2 years since I\'ve been logged-in here. I wanted to ask everybody here if they have any experience with neuropathy. Long story short..after 20 years of the continual damage, I feel my penis is dying a slow death. Erections are horrible without viagra; and it feels like it\'s getting worse. The drop started about 3 years ago, and I feel like it\'s a gradual slope down to a dead organ. I\'m on a program now with a neurologist using laser treatment to attempt to re-ignite the nerve connections, but I\'m not very hopeful that the nerve damage can be fixed/improved. Is anybody aware of any alternative treatments? BTW, I\'m 43 y.o.

Been a while. My ED has been gradually worsening. I was able to convince a radiologist to take pity on me, and swindle an arteriogram. This is the conclusive proof that my ED was not in my head, it\'s in my penis. The study showed severe arterial insufficiency, basically a mere absence of much of the normal artery volume in my penis. I ponder what the actual cause was, but conclude that it must have been the Necrosis I had in 1998 that did the major damage. I\'m now evaluating what I can do. On top of that, the shrinkage/appearance is still lousy. I\'m talking to a few docs, with a focus on restoring erectile capacity. I can still get erecetion with meds, buy only 80% or so. I\'m consulting with Dr Gelman and Dr Goldstein in CA, for penile revascularization. I\'m also consulting with Dr Alter to consider reversing the lig cut (or re-attaching the suspensatory ligamaent). I just believe that a normal hang will help my blood flow. I\'m also cons idering stem cell therapy for the ED. Any advice or positive support is appreciated. Pics attached. The drive of my concern is a continual worsening of artery function, and complete loss of vascularity.

To my knowledge Dr Goldstein in San Diego has done more of these than anyone in the world. Gelman and Alter would also be good guys to talk to. Best of luck !

Had a phone consult with Alter today-very enlightening. First, he said that the ED was not caused by the skin Necrosis, because ED results from deep arterial damages, and minor skin Necrosis would not do that damage. I was talking to him about the VY reversal, and he said he could help my appearance. I told him I had 2 goals - improve my ED and the aesthetic appearance. He told me they\'re 2 different, unrelated items, and suggested that we talk about the aesthetic piece. This whole discussion was eye-opening though. If the Necrosis didn\'t cause my ED, what did? I\'m 43 y/o and healthy. What the fuck. So, I began looking at my history files. Even though my Necrosis happened in 1998, my ED didn\'t really start until 2010 or so. Interestingly, I had the Belladerm collar inserted in Nov 2009, and right after is when my ED started, The collar is at the base, the same spot where the arteriogram shows a termination of arteries. Here is a pic below that I found dating back to 2008, prior to the Belladerm, and prior to fat Removal. You know what - it looked much better back then. I think all I needed was the fat Removal/contouring. Now, because I thought I needed to bulk up that base area, I insisted on the damn Belladerm graft. In hindsight, I don\'t think that was necessary. And to make matters worse, I have a suion that it may be the cause of my ED. Mind-blowing to me. I\'m consulting with Dr. Gelman in CA on Fri. What\'s my move here? I think because Gelman is a reconstructive Urologist, he may be a prime authority on all of these issues (the ED, the surgeries, etc). What the fuck. Fucking 20 years, and still looking for answers. I\'m hoping this is the Pandora\'s box.
