So this morning when I woke up, I had some dried blood on my leg from the left scrotum incision. I didn\'t think much of it. 8 hours later, I had a little more; but it\'s not actively bleeding. It\'s scanned up. Also my temp is up slightly. I\'ve been taking it 100 x a day, and it\'s been on average at 98.5. Now it\'s at 99.1, first time. I haven\'t taken any Percocet today. Could that be why the temp varied? Do you think it sounds like infection? I know I\'m being paranoid, but I want so bad to get through with this so my life can resume. Let me know what you think, thanks

The fact it was bleeding doesn\'t mean anything. Doesn\'t sound like you have an infection, but I don\'t know the significance in temperature variance.

How long does it take for these types of incisions to heal? I\'m particularly concerned with the one under and across my shaft. It\'s not bleeding, but it\'s still in heal phase, and not yet scabbed up. Today is day 12 post-op and I thought the healing would be further along.

They can take weeks to heal. If an incision is in a place where the skin moves, then it takes longer to heal as it can get stretched frequently.

Thanks, hey, I\'m starting to stress out. Ive been cleaning it twice per day. It looked good today, but after showering and cleaning, it looks like the incision on the right of my shaft widened a bit, that is the healing wound indent. Do you think I was too aggressive with the cleaning, (I used a cloth and q tip). Did I weaken the site? It simply rebuilds with that tan gunky stuff. Freaking out here, worried that I went back instead of forward.

Just give it a gentle clean, don\'t be too aggressive. But don\'t worry as it will heal in time. You could have a hole the size of a quarter and it would heal over eventually. If you want you could apply some tape to strengthen the area. I don\'t know if you have them in US, but in the UK we have some tapes called steri strips and they are great for keeping incision lines together.

When my Elist implant was removed, the wound was so wide and deep I could actually see the inside of my penis shaft. . Because the shaft skin moves, the stitches broke and it looked horrific; I was terrified.
Two months later, amazingly it was healed. So beautifully that there is just a small hair thin scar ((that\'s basically impossible to notice). The body is an amazing thing.
My advice is to just relax and keep it clean.

Messageman, was your wound stitched up when that happened, or did it heal as an open wound? You all sound positive that my wound will heal; but I can\'t honestly tell if it\'s getting better or not. It is changing, so something\'s happening, but I fear that part of the wound is sinking a bit. So it makes me fear either Necrosis, skin failure, or wound opening. As soon as I feel confident that all my new wounds are improving, I\'ll feel much better. I can probably say that\'s the case for 75% of the wound sites.

My stitches broke (sfter having them on for a few days) and the wound became inflamed.
I was back in Japan and was reluctant to go a hospital.
Dr. Elist assured me that the would would heal. I was terrified that
I had Necrosis...But eventually it all settled down and the wound healed (as an open wound.
I know what you are going through and it\'s terrifying...but my wound healed.

Thanks guys, I\'m progressing well but a strange thing happened last night. My nocturnal erections began being painful again. At the sane time, I noticed the stream of my urine is shooting out in a different direction than usual. Do you think this indicates some urethral problem etc ?

The surgery wont have touched the urethra. It\'s probably swelling in the glans area or something has got in there. Once you penis has recovered it will go back to normal.
