It\'s been just over 2 days since my recon surgery. I have major swelling. Nocturnal Erection is very painful. It looks like I may have a keloid forming in one of the scar locations. My first in-person follow up with Solomon is tomorrow. Dr said the surgery went fine, no surprises. Worried about this swelling and potential keloid

I doubt it\'s a keloid. 2 days would be very quick for a keloid to appear. It is probably fluid in the incision area making it look raised.

Had the follow up with Solomon. He said everything looks as it should. I\'m posting a few pics which should scare the shit out of anyone considering Phalloplasty. They scare the shot out of me. It\'s been 3 days and I hoped the swollen would be better. My new concern though is that band of constriction near the top of my base. It is the spot where I has my Necrosis 15 years ago, so I know the skin and tissue is already compromised. I thought there was an internal suture causing the constriction but Solomon said there was not. He merely said it\'s an effect of the swelling below. Needless to say this constriction was a major issue for me in the past. It got a bit better in 2009 when Solomon put a Belladerm collar around the top of the base, just above that area. I just fear that the constriction ring will get worse now after this severe swelling, but doc wasn\'t worried. Sorry, pics will be there shortly today

It doesn\'t look as beaten up as when I had my fat removed. You can see that where the fat previously was fluid has filled up the space. I had rock hard lumps of swelling for months after my fat Removal. I actually thought he\'d left something in after the surgery as it didn\'t seem possible that swelling could feel like that. But eventually it settled down.

You\'ve made my day, hoddle. Seriously, seeing your manhood in this shape is terrifying! I think these docs should take pics of this condition to appropriately warn the patients. Thank you again, thank you for your help and well wishes

Hey guys, the appearance is starting to improve, but I\'m worried that I may have an infection. In one spot, there is a fair amount of friction pain. I can\'t tell if this is just part of the stitch healing process, or if it\'s infection. Before I call doc, let me know if you had any experience with this. I recently took 2 percicets, so I don\'t know if fever would show up and I\'m looking for other sign too like puss etc. I would describe this as increasing discomfort

Does the area smell, is there any warmth or physical signs such as puss?

There\'s no obvious smell nor warmth. I see something that looks like puss, but I think it\'s stitching, not puss. It\'s mainly pain, discomfort increasing in nature and the swelling, bruising

I can\'t obviously tell you that there is no infection, but pain is normal. If swelling is putting pressure on certain areas it could cause discomfort. If your worried call the Dr.

How long do you think the swelling and pain will last? I\'m in day 6 post-op, and it\'s still excruciating. Nocturnal erections are unbearable. I thought the pain would be starting to subside or at least start dropping, but it seems to be getting stronger. I am praying to turn the corner and revive my optimism.

Even though I\'ve had so many surgeries I can\'t actually remember. Though I do remember being very glad to have my stitches removed after my FFT Removal, as I thought it would help relieve the pain from night time erections. That would have been about 10 days post op.

The swelling itself can last for many months, but the pain should go in the next few days.

If you are worried about infection take some photos of the area and send them to Dr Solomon. Even if he thinks there is an infection he\'ll probably just give you some antibiotics and this wont really help much with the actual pain. Are you taking any pain meds?
