Ok guys, I spoke to wade today and many of my concerns were alleviated. First off I must say that I was happy that he called to speak with me instead of just emailing back. It made me feel much more comfortable. You guys have been a huge help to me also, so thank you! I will post the Q&A, but most of them have been answered several times in the forum, so it probably won\'t be anything new for most of you , so I apologize if its repetitive. I would also like to state that I am writing the following from memory of my phone conversation so it will not be the exact dialog of Wade. I just don\'t wanna put \"words in someone\'s mouth\" so to speak.
1. If I spread the process out with less concentration of
PMMA and more injections 6 months apart or so, will I most likely have a more pleasing result aesthetically? Yes, a higher percentage or concentration of
PMMA will tend to have a higher chance for irregularities in shape.
2. What do you recommend for first time volume and % of
PMMA to be the safest and have the most appealing appearance? They recommend 10% concentration of
PMMA for the first round to build a base layer of
PMMA/collagen. Volume is decided on a patient to patient basis depending on goals and anatomy of patient.
3. Will there be post op exercises or stretching that I need to to to insure proper settling of the
PMMA? Massaging to keep the placement of
PMMA uniform is critical for the first 24 hrs to ensure the best chance for proper aesthetics. Also it is important to have erections to help keep the
PMMA spread evenly through the shaft so
Cialis may be given to assist with this.
4. If so is there any equipment or devises involved and how to I obtain them before hand? No you may be given a silicon sleeve if needed.
5. Is there any chance of hardening of the
PMMA years down the road or chance of later migration? No, once the
PMMA has healed it will be in place permanently and will not harden.
6. What are the chances of rejection and infection? The body will not reject the
PMMA. It will encapsulate it in collagen and cause no harm.
7. Can I expect nodules? There is certainly chance to develop bumps or nodules, but they can be corrected and will generally soften by themselves over time.
8. How much
Girth can I expect to obtain from 1 round and still maintain 6 months after my first injections. 0.5\"-0.75\" is the typical gain from each round of
PMMA, of course this can vary due to volume and % of
PMMA used.
9. Should I stretch or pump my penis to loosen the skin to make more room for the injections? No, Each patient has their own routine and preference before and after the procedure, but we do not recommend stretching, jelking, pumping, etc. because we want the tissues as healthy as possible at the time of the procedure.
10. Should I take any supplements to help with healing and collagen formation even though I stay fit and eat a clean diet? Use of supplements and vitamins are at the patients discretion, if you are physically fit and eat clean your body should work quickly to heal on its own, but vitamin C is good to take and if you want to take a collagen promoting supplement it should be fine.
That is all that I have for now. Hopefully it will help someone. Christian and Wade are very professional and easy to talk to. I feel that they are very honest and straight forward, unlike several other doctors I have spoken to in the past. I plan on scheduling my first appointment by the end of this week. I believe that
PMMA is the best choice for my situation. Wish me luck! I will be continuing my research in the mean time and will report any valuable info that I come across.
