I don\'t believe that!

Not credible, agree with Hoddle. Also, appalling English.

Guessed that would be the general response.

Closer wrote: I recently emailed Dr. Oudot to ask him about his patient satisfaction rate and how many of his patients are satisfied enough to return for more than one procedure. This was his reply:\'\'i have performed 1200 Penoplasty at the end of 2013 and i do 2 or 3 every day. 95% of my patient are continuing the adventure with me since 6 years.\'\'

And Dr.Elist\'s implant has a less than 1% Removal rate.
FYI, these doctors are never a dependable source of truth....

Yeah it seems to go with the territory unfortunately. It begs the question- if I can\'t trust him to tell the truth, can I trust him with my genitals?

No.You can only trust your interpretation and judgment of all the feedbacks posted on this forum by members who have actually undergone whichever procedure you are interested in.

Yeah of course, I agree. But unfortunately testimonies from patients of this doctor are in extremely short supply, unless you include the glowing reviews left in the comments section of his youtube videos..but like Hoddle has pointed out, there\'s reasons to suspect they\'re less than genuine.I can\'t help but feel a bit less comfortable about placing my fate in the hands of someone demonstrably dishonest. When dealing with the most prized part of our anatomy, it\'s easy to panic at the slightest hint of potential danger..which is why I currently don\'t think I have the right temperament for the permanency of PMMA.But I suppose in this case the temporariness of Hyaluronic Acid means that the likely worst case scenario [barring the relatively low risk of injection point infection] is that I will have wasted my money on an uneven, unnatural result which will eventually resolve itself as the filler is gradually absorbed. And judging by some of the horror stories out there, things can go much much worse in the world of Phalloplasty. None of the 3 members of this board who had macrolane were satisfied, so my expectations were suitably low anyway. But I\'ll more than likely still pull the trigger at some point and update the forum on my progress.

Closer, Dr. Viel has clearly tod you that Macrolane fails exactly when you need it: during intercourse. Which is exactly in line with what has been reported by members of this forum who experimented with it. Why still entertaining the thought of getting it?

Like Messageman said earlier, we can\'t exactly treat what comes out these doctors mouths as gospel. When I asked Mr. Viel about whether macrolane complications might be minimised with more modest injection volumes, he gave a vague answer and I thought I detected uncertainty in his voice/body language. I think he just wanted to dismiss macrolane and move the discussion along. Which is hardly surprising as it wouldn\'t make much sense for him to endorse a filler that he\'s no longer in the business of providing. And I have my doubts about whether he ever actually experimented with varying injection volumes to know if it would make a difference. It would have been less lucrative for a start. He used to charge 2500 for macrolane which according to hoddle was likely for 50ml. I assume that not many guys would have requested lower injection volumes if 50 ml was advertised as the standard amount. I could be wrong.

It might be revealing to know how long he offered macrolane for, whether it was just long enough to determine that patients were unsatisfied with it, or whether he offered it for many years.

As for macrolane patients on this board, it was only 3 members . Hardly conclusive. And, as we\'ve been discussing on this thread, I plan to go about it differently. Dangerross and mikehoc each had 50 ml injected at once, whereas I plan to have less than half the amount [20 ml] injected in 2 procedures spaced 1 month apart. Connor had 30 ml, but the HA he used was of indeterminable quality as he ordered it himself online. Not to mention he injected it himself! Furthermore, in the French doctor\'s English youtube video he claims to have started using a refined HA as of a couple of years ago. He *claims* that it\'s thicker and more suited to the penis, giving a firmer and more natural feel in the Erect state. Isn\'t it plausible that all these variables could produce a different result?

Whether or not a \'different\' result ends up being a \'good\' result remains to be seen of course. I\'m not naive to the possibility that it won\'t work out. It\'s a lottery. But the other 2 contenders, PMMA and FFT, are lotteries too- the former is a lottery with the potential for serious long term health complications, and the latter is a lottery that\'s almost 4 times as expensive as HA. And both are hard/dangerous to reverse. So for the time being a temporary filler is the lottery that\'s best for me.

Whether or not that temporary filler ends up being HA I\'m not yet 100% sure. Like you said, I\'m only entertaining it. As of tonight I\'m in correspondence with St. Peters Andrology Centre in London to enquire about Restylane. Will keep you posted.

I personally know a guy who had macrolane injected in his penis, and it doesn\'t last, three months it was gone and this was the volume 30. I have had it in my face and it doesn\'t last, was only there for like 6 months, gradually reducing. I have had filler on face and can tell you that, if inject in an area with a lot of movement it will breakdown much faster. I have said it before, temporary fillers will not work in the penis. Any doctor or anyone who tells you they have a success rate, is telling bullsh*t and trying to make money.

Even injected in the breasts, a lot of women saw the macrolane disappearing within a few months, when you are told it will last between 18 and 24 months, even many doctors have point it out.

Do you research into the complaints of macrolanes life expectancy and you will see it\'s the truth.

The only temp filler I can think of that might work in the long temp is dextran, you would have to ask guys how have had it as a filler in south korea, cause maybe they would know.

I think PMMA would be a good option, maybe if injected with 10% and only like 10 to 15 cc, seems to have less complications, but that depend on your body again.

Good call. I haven\'t looked into dextran much yet other than following Bori\'s progress report. Thanks.

Maybe, but we all have different standards by which we judge whether or not a procedure is successful. I\'d be going into this with relatively low expectations, so if I gained a reasonably symmetrical and natural feeling 0.7 in EG, I\'d class that as a success even if it started absorbing quickly and suddenly after just 3-4 months. I wouldn\'t pay for top ups every 4 months but it would be nice to know that the option is there for a 3-4 month stretch every now and then.

Regarding HA\'s longevity, accounts vary. Despite being generally dissatisfied, DangerRoss still had a 1 Inch EG gain after 1 year.

I may consider low concentration PMMA in the future but only after exhausting the temporary route. Another possible advantage to getting a temp filler beforehand is that I\'ll be able to see if I still look in proportion with a big [ish] gain, and tailor my PMMA goals accordingly.

When I typed the above I didn\'t realise that Restylane is another type of Hyaluronic Acid. Unfortunately I haven\'t yet found a personal testimony from someone who\'s had it in the penis, other than biggerbob who self injected his glans.

Also, another reason I\'m still entertaining marolane is that there\'s a study which *claims* to have had good results when injecting lower amounts [posted earlier in the thread].
