Yes, I believe having the 8cm is key for achieving the ideal result. Naturally, when the 8 cm graft is attached to a
Flaccid penis, if you settle for a shorter graft, you risk the graft thinning itself too much to accommodate the longer
Erection size. I have found that the main complaint from people undergoing this surgery, based on the 500+ local reviews, is:
1. The fact that it temporarily shortens
Erect length, which is expected. If you consider that you have a not yet vascularized graft attached to both ends of your
Flaccid penis, naturally, there ought to be some resistance from the graft to accommodate the length in your
Erect state. I couldn't find anyone complaining about the
Erect length not returning after 6 months, even though nobody seems to report stretching or
Hanging as part of their recovery in their reviews.
2. Most of the glans gain disappears for most people. This is hard to quantify as most of them don't specify measurements of their length &
Girth to begin with, and it's even rarer to find proper glans measurements before and after surgery. However, most have said that only around 20% of the gains are left. Injecting semi-permanent/permanent filler at small amounts seems to be the only acceptable method for permanent gains right now. I have found that Proud also mentioned that it has done grafts for the glans as well - ouch! I can't even begin to imagine, but unsurprisingly, it doesn't recommend this method as it might lead to
Necrosis. I'll take any permanent gains, even if it normalizes over time.
3. There's the "chin phenomenon" where they describe a thinning of the penis between the end of the shaft and the glans, making it resemble a chin. I suspect that this is either the product of people who have suboptimal vascularization and/or collagen growth that disproportionately affects the end of the shaft more than other areas, or the fact that they might have opted for the 6cm instead of the 8cm grafts, which stretch the grafts too thin when it reaches the edge of the shaft.
Now, I'm interested to see how yours holds up over time with your length. If yours turns out fine, I should have no worries since I'm only 14cm. Therefore, my grafts shouldn't need to cover as much length when
Erect. However, I do think it ultimately comes down to how well the vascularization is, and other factors such as collagen growth. Regardless, I don't think it's that big of a deal as you could always top up the "chin part" if it were to occur. I was wondering if they'd ever offer you to add Megafill on top of the Megaderm since I've seen that they have different packages on their Korean website, which includes 5S Grand. This is an additional 10cc of Megafill on the shaft on top of the 5cc that already comes with the regular 5S, which is mostly for the glans. If they did, is there any reason you didn't get the additional 10cc? In terms of price, the quote that I got from their English site is an extra $1000 for 10cc, which is reasonable. I know Megafill doesn't have the best reputation from the old forum based on Reklaw's experience, but he was injected with 70cc. So, I think having a 10cc top up should be considered way safer compared to those past experiences. But if it was due to Megafill's less than stellar reputation, I don't think you would inject it into your glans. So I was just wondering what your line of thinking was. I couldn't imagine that you just decided that you wouldn't want to get too big and instead settled for less gain. They also offer a 5S volume package, which includes public liposuction. However, I honestly don't consider it as an option for me, as I don't believe I'm a good candidate for liposuction. Furthermore, the after photos for this procedure, particularly for those with megafill, appear much better and more uniform than those using your own fat.
