Thanks Miracle. Wow - in your 20s is even worse... you\'ve got me there. So, I was chatting w/ SkepticalOne who informed me of a few things I missed in my readings (which were not as religious as I thought - sorry about that). It can be hard to read a fairly info-heavy discussion board as a new person & figure out who did what to who...(those excel spreadsheets posted here are genius though).
So, (please correct me if I am wrong SkepticalOne) the
PMMA Dr. C uses is cellulose based...different than Artefill here. So, potential allergy to the bovine collagen in Artefill wouldn\'t even be applicable to Dr. C\'s product. Also, as stated above, long term effects can\'t be tested with a patch test.
Based on other stuff I read, it sounds like 10% is a little less risky than 30% for a new user of
PMMA.
I am at the point where I have to decide if the curve is bad enough to have it operated on before I do any filler. Once I do filler, I can\'t really \"go back\" and have xiaflex or even a simple plication surgery.
Ideally, I\'d like to have Juvederm Voluma (which is
HA only) - after Peyronie\'s surgery. I will still have lost length - and JV isn\'t available here yet (and when it will be - the prices will be prohibitive to fill a penis with I suspect...though not sure about South of the border). In the face, some
HA fillers tend to retain a bit of volume even after a year or so. People who have had
Restylane in the tear trough seem to rarely need it after 3 or 4 times...unlike the nasolabial fold, which dissipates quickly. I have t find the one Korean study on
HA filler in the penis...I can\'t recall if they reported on dissipation over time.
