Thanks, Smartman. I'm already on minocycline 100mg in addition to Bactrim. I cannot get the time off of work required for HBOT. I will inquire about Imiquimod cream although I have no idea if treatment controls symptoms or results in long term resolution. I've already lost a significant amount of skin. Nearly half of my penile skin is gone, both dorsal and lateral.

Is there another epidermal layer below the skin?
Is there another layer of something, or can you see veins and so on?
In fact, can you see the PMMA?
What does it look like?

You americans have a hell of a time with your health care and work. You should be off and layed up.
Keep strong, really feel for you

It is a full thickness wound with loss of tissue. There is no skin where ulcerated. Yes, I can see the PMMA tissue.

M8, I had used \"Extremepeptides\" a couple of years ago and the quality was excellent, But I can\'t vouch for them now since I have not bought anything since then. Maybe buy a small amount and try it for yourself...
Good healing buddy!

thinking of you M8. I feel like such a pussy whining when I got an infection now tbh. maybe I can reassure you a bit by telling you that I had a skin-graft on my hand, taken from my leg, and though it looks slightly different on close inspection it is in volume and function the same as before.

Holy shit. This is basically everything I went through a few years ago, almost line by line. As I was scrolling and saw you say the Sutures dehisced, it was like PTSD from all the surgeries I had. I would pray every one would stay closed and then once it popped open - back to surgery again...with no end in sight.

I also went to every doctor I could find and tried every treatment imaginable. One was worse than the next until the main Urologist- though he was very agressive. I was treating it as a FBG based on the initial pathologist\'s diagnosis & initial Dermatologist - but it\'s not like a silicone FBG (though I took minocycline and did all of those treatments - would be better in your case than mine).

My wounds would not stay closed until large sections of skin were taken off and dissected and cleaned and dissected some more - before being put back together. PMMA is very sticky to the Dartos fascia and the wound wouldn\'t close with it in there. You could see my doc but he\'s very aggressive with how much skin he removed. I ended up getting the scrotal webbing \"reduction\" because I had such little shaft skin left on one side - it was hard to get Erect without pain. So, the web became part of the shaft skin sort of - after that surgery. It wasn\'t really a reduction in the web - more like they used the web for the shaft. I\'m not sure where all of your ulcers are but that\'s a shortcut way to \"graft\" skin onto the shaft without taking it from another area that doesn\'t match.

Yeah that was about 2 years of pure hell. There\'s no other way to describe it. Peyronie\'s, like you said, was nothing compared to that period of my life. It never looked entirely normal again, but at least I am not walking around with open wounds anymore. There\'s no real shortcut - it just takes forever for the body to deal with this. I had some voluma put in to make up for the giant chunks of PMMA my doctor cut out - but the scar bands from the excisions force the voluma into clumps (over months). So, it\'s not the most natural thing.

There was very little that actually helped, and I had 3 drawers full of every cream, supplement, prescription, etc... xeroform was the only thing that seemed to help a little (3% bismuth tribromophenate petroleum) though you\'d have to be careful not to macerate the wound edges with any of these things. Xeroform isn\'t that wet but some of the other ones are. With MRSA, I assume you\'ve been given mupirocin at this point. I read more of your posts and it sounds like the scrotal webbing reduction / (sliding up of the scrotal skin to give the shaft more skin) isn\'t going to work given the extent of the Necrosis. The base of my shaft is mostly scrotal skin now (and hairy) and my Balls noticeably smaller...but it helped with the problems after skin Removal.

For people asking what PMMA tissue looks like - it\'s just like a white sheath of collagen. It looks a little like chewing gum. There are pics I\'ve posted with nodules of PMMA - they looked exactly like gum.

I\'ve been off the board for a while but there\'s a netflix documentary that made me think of this place - about unproven implants and medical devices called \"the bleeding edge\" and I just thought of all this again. Oh well Miracle you\'ve been able to sustain a much more positive attitude than I ever was so hopefully that can get you through this. Somehow I got to the end of it & I was single too. I almost don\'t even remember being depressed - just very angry toward everyone and everything. I don\'t think I actually recovered from that entirely.

I\'ve read a lot of your notes, restoration, it was way back though. I remember the picture of the PMMA chunk you got out, thinking it looked like a piece of gum. The pictures of the end results too. They stick in the mind. I\'m glad you\'re back, at least for a bit I hope.

Do you think it is possible to make an incision over a lump, remove the lump and then have the skin heal over?

My vague assumption is that the surgeon have to remove all the PMMA around the perimeter of the wound to allow it to heal. So that there would be a flap of skin, well clear of PMMA around the wound to allow healing. Is this idea right?

I hope everything is working normally for you now.

Sending the love to you too Miracle.

Thanks naginati. Yeah, I think lumps can be removed that way. I had some done that way and the incisions did close without a problem earlier on. I don\'t really understand why the wounds never closed later. The PMMA creates collagen which is sort of like scar tissue, so maybe it\'s telling the body the wound is already healed? Functionally, nothing ever changed really- but it\'s just aesthetically it\'s not going to look entirely normal.

I finished the Netflix documentary and it\'s really interesting - and mostly about birth control devices / products used on women that led to them losing fertility, needing hysterectomies, and multiple surgeries to remove (it just reminded me of all this - especially when removing the device caused more issues because it broke apart). One had some kind of vaginal implant that scraped her partner\'s penis. Another guy got cobalt poisoning from his hip implant.

Thanks. It\'s as complete as it is gonna get given all the surgery I had to have. The best I ever looked was after round 2 and then after the procedures to remove the hardened PMMA in round 3 - it just kept getting worse. Scars on the Dick seem to heal in a way that scars elsewhere on the body do not. It\'s actually hard to see some very large scars (12-15 stitches) at all. With bright light, you can - but it\'s not really that visible.

If Miracle needs a graft from the forearm or thigh, it\'s never going to \"match\" but it will be functional and should put an end to most of this. I don\'t know what they have in mind with regard to making you wait so long for the tissues to granulate. That is worse than watching paint dry. And sometimes it is 2 steps forward 2 steps back (I had fully granulated tissue just fall right out of the wound to my shock). Docs seem confused about what is granulation tissue and what is eschar, which is a bit annoying and makes the whole thing more complicated.

Can you see a wound care specialist? The one I saw set me straight with a lot of the crap I was putting on there and basically only had me using this water-based gel from there onward (skintegrity hydrogel). Manuka honey completely fucked up the healing & was also painful...the only painful thing, in fact. It\'s being pushed by far too many people relative to its usefulness IMO. The wound care doc told me to throw it out.

It is amazing what the penis can withstand. All you have gone through and it does still work. No pain, no Erection problems. It works. I know it\'s shit. I\'m not saying it\'s not. But your Dick won in the end through all of it.

That but about it falling out though.
Nope nope nope nope nope

How are you today Mustang?
