TOPIC: Early entry point nodules?

Early entry point nodules? 10 years 7 months ago #1282683584

I\'m only at day 8, so I was surprised to see this - and I can feel it too. On a few entry points, it feels how a pimple would feel, slightly sore and thicker under the skin. One of them also seems to have a hard spot on it - but I don\'t know if that\'s a scab or the Metacril. I never blocked the entry points, which they said could cause a Nodule. So, I wonder if this is a normal thing or if I\'m getting nodules.

I washed with Hibiclens and put a tiny amount of bactroban on it w/ a small bandaid. Hibiclens kills everything and shows low/no resistant bacteria - and bactroban kills MRSA. But, this may all not be bacteria related at all. I guess I just wanted to keep up the diligence about cleanliness.

Other logs mentioned squeezing these & some people did nothing. Some went away and some didn\'t - but I seem to be early for this - so I\'m wondering if it\'s just a scab of some sort. Or, if I can get rid of them now, it might be easier than in July. I tried to squeeze it, but it just kinda hurt and made them red... not sure if I should do that again.

The other entry points shrunk down into the skin, and you can\'t really even see them. Thanks for any thoughts.

Dance with dragons,

That is good to know.

Restoration, wade told me to squeeze them a as they were healing and to press at the entry site. I am on day two not sure if it will work after that. I don\'t think I can cut myself open.

Good luck

Thanks DWD - how far post op were you when you did that procedure? How did you decide to do that vs. wait further? Some people reported that it went away on its own

I have the same exact concern you posted btw - most people would assume STD.

I did the Removal about 6 weeks out. I just didn\'t like the way they looked (like big genital warts), and I was big time manwhoring at the time, and I just didn\'t want someone thinking I was disease ridden.

lol. We are on the same page... I just need to lose some extra fat - then, yes... let the manwhoring begin.

I agree most would assume it was a wart. The weird thing is that it feels more like a pimple, at least to me...and at least for now.

These have been thinning out... they\'re not gone yet - but they are going in the right direction for now. They reduced from BB size to the size of a sebaceous gland (which I have on my shaft anyway). So, I\'d be completely fine with this other than the fact they are hard, still. Between 2-3 wks now...so it may still soften.

Three plastic surgeons (two of whom I had seen before and know that I wasn\'t some weird person off the street) both said they don\'t want to get involved with this. Excuses included \"we don\'t deal with that filler\" to \"we only do facial work\" to \"it\'s better to see your original provider who has more experience\"

My Urologist WILL see people with filler issues...and he\'s seen a lot from what the office mgr told me. I think it\'s more in a urologists domain, perhaps. Plastic surgeons rarely deal with the penis...and urologists do reconstruction in even more complex cases. He just told me not to come back if I go have this done and then have an issue. I am not sure how serious he was...I saw him for many years since Peyronies started & he did the surgery to fix it.
