So one thing that had me worried was having to do aftercare massages on the hour for 5 days straight, how could this be possible if I were to get on the plane 2 days after my procedure (I know many people stay for a week but I can't do that due to work)? Has anyone else manage to run into a similar complication? Also another thing that concerns me is not being able to go to the gym for 10 days... Im scared I will lose some gains within that timeframe of not doing anything. Can someone chime in on their opinion on the situation. I really wanted this done for the longest but the strict rules that could hinder my overall outcome of the procedure is off-putting a little.
After 2 days a lot has already begun to settle in (in terms of shape and contour). I would avoid doing these massages in the tight & germ-infested areas of a plane's bathroom, you can afford a few hours without the massage in my opinion. In fact, I didn't know 5 days of massage on the hour every hour was the protocol, and how would you account for sleeping when your body twists and turns?
I massaged every few hours, and I find that frequency probably correlates most with those who have noticeable problem areas that need to be "ironed out." I just can't imagine a flight (that isn't cross-Atlantic or cross-Pacific) as having any significant impact, especially 2 days out.
You can always ask the Office, they will go over post-op protocols one more time before your leave.
