lig cut, belladerm and PMMA my experience 11 years 10 months ago #1276339597

Hello all,

some of the older members may remember me from the original MNS forum. I havent been very active on this board for awhile and that is mainly because my quest for penis enlargement has been successful and im just enjoy my life without any concerns over penis size. Despite this i feel i should share with all of you my journey, because before i had anything done this board and the one before it helped me with decision of what to get done.

my starting size was Erect length of 6.9 and my Erect Girth was 4.9. I didnt really measure my Flaccid, because i was never really concerned with my Flaccid measurements. For me i wanted to be bigger for sex and since i dont have sex with a Flaccid Cock i didnt really care about Flaccid numbers.

my current stats are 7.5 inches Erect and Girth is 7.1 inches at the base 6.5 mid shaft and about 5.9 under the head. every girl i have been with and i do tend to get around quite a bit tells me im huge.

my first surgery was jan of 2010 with dr.rosenthal. I had my ligs cut and had Belladerm inserted for Girth. I was very happy with dr.rosenthal and thought he was a great doctor. the surgery went fairly smooth but there is no doubt this is a real surgery that takes weeks to recover from. i didnt have sex for 2 months afterwards. at the end of it my Girth was up to 5.7 which i was very happy with and after stretching for about 4-5 months my length was up to 7.5. However i believe for best length gains you should get your ligs cut as a surgery on its own and just stretch for a year afterwards. i believe the Belladerm makes stretching harder and i personally was to lazy to keep stretching after 4-5 months. its very time consuming and painful sometimes. i few ppl i talked to who also when to dr.R at the same time as me retracted in length and never even got back to there original length and in my opinion that is becasue of the Belladerm making it harder to stretch and stiffen up. however when i was done i felt i got a very natural result that no woman would be able to tell that i had something done.

1 year after my bella and lig cut with dr.R my Girth was down to 5.4 which was very disappointing, so i decided after reading about the success stories on this board to get PMMA. i ended up getting 3 rounds of PMMA. 1 at 10% which i feel wasnt really worth it (i think u need at least 20%) and then 2 rounds at 20%. The PMMA was sooooo easy compared to my surgery with Dr.R and in my opinion the gains werre much better and more natural feeling than the Belladerm. Also the cost of PMMA is alot better. I paid dr.R $10\'500 for the bella and lig cutting and the PMMA cost me 1500 per session, but from wht ive heard the PMMA has gone up in price now.

im running out of time, so i will finish this post another time and i will share pics with you guys. If you have any questions feel free to ask. ttyl

Hi Kingpin, thanks for sharing. It sounds like you\'ve had nothing but success, so congratulations. What gains did you make with each round of PMMA? I\'m mainly interested in the result from the initial 10% solution.

Ill go into some further detail with the PMMA, because although it went well it did have one problem. (i got a granuloma after round 2 and had it removed during round 3)

like i mentioned earlier before my first round of PMMA my Girth was down to 5.4 from a high of 5.7 rite after i had the Belladerm. MY 1st round of PMMA was at 10% strength and my Girth was up to about 5.9 rite after the PMMA but eventually settled and went down to approx 5.6 or 5.7.

my goal was the infamous 6 Inch mark for Girth so i got a 2nd round done at 20%. the 2nd round got me to about 6 inches Girth and i was happy but i got a granuloma on the bottom side of my penis (the side of the penis that is facing ur body when ur Flaccid) it wasnt really bad but it was definitely noticeable. it was about the size of a large peanut. women would notice it and i think i would say it was a cyst i had to get removed. this granuloma made me want to get round 3 asap because i wanted the granuloma removed and since i was going to get that done why not get a bit more size lol

round 3 was also at 20% and was successful. it brought me to my current size which i mentioned earlier. I also had the granuloma removed via incision and i had to remove the stitches myself a week later when i was back home. The granuloma was removed perfectly and i removed the stitches without any problems. it was a bit tricky becasue it was a small stitch and is now not noticable and has left no scar. also in round 3 the dr made 2 incisions half way up my shaft instead of only at the base like he did in round 1 and 2. this allowed him to fill in under the head alot better and made my penis alot more symetrical. like many have stated on here before dr.Casavantes and Wade are awesome and professional. they made the experience as enjoyable as it can be.

im getting tired so i will fill in any other info i think is important next time.

Kingpin, thanks for sharing your experiences! Question: Are you 100% certain (as in a physician diagnosis and/or biopsy) that what you experienced was a true granuloma or could it have been an aesthetic irregularity (e.g. large Nodule)? What was Dr. C\'s medical opinion on this? Because if it was indeed a granuloma, you\'d be the first Dr. C patient to report such complication to the forum, and I believe it\'s imperative we know for sure that this is indeed the case.

My research leads me to believe that granuloma formation is inevitable in a percentage (presumably small according to the Artefill study) of patients, but to have a confirmation on the forums is huge news!

Could you please share with us the details of your granuloma diagnosis, Dr. C\'s assessment, and Dr. C\'s method of Removal? Did you take a picture of it, and if so, would you be willing to share it?

I\'m glad that you have had the issue resolved and that you have achieved that elusive success in penis enlargement. I hope I can retire from \"PE\" one day too!

@kingpin, did you tell Dr R about your disappointing gains with Belladerm?

My story is very similar to yours. Our Girth starting stats are similar and initially I too was pleased with my gains with Belladerm. But, like you I experienced a lot of shrinkage and after a year was sitting on a 0.5\" gain. Given the tough recovery process and the money I paid, i was very disappointed. Like you i wanted more Girth and I was planning on a second graft. But in the last year I\'ve had even more shrinkage and as of yesterday now only have a 0.35\" gain.

I had thought I was just unlucky, but reading the stories of other Belladerm patients it seems like it nearly always absorbs and isn\'t permanent at all. So I\'ve become quite resentful towards Dr Rosenthal as I felt he lied to me. He promised me an Inch in length and Girth. I\'ve actually lost length and my Girth gains are garbage and I fully expect that in the next year or so the rest will absorb. But Dr R was great with me and really went above and beyond when I had a post op infection. So do you think it is possible he isn\'t lying as such as just doesn\'t realize that his procedure basically doesn\'t work and is a rip off? I haven\'t told him about my disappointment. I wonder if Justave, Yardstick, Soma, Smartman and yourself did. Maybe he see\'s his patients for a post op check up and then never hears from them again. The last time I saw Dr R, I was sitting on a 1\" gain! It didn\'t last, but he doesn\'t know that!

Thanks Kingpin. I don\'t suppose you happen to know the quantities you received each round?

Did Dr C actually say you have a granuloma? It doesn\'t sound as if you had one from your description. I\'m terrified of getting one and this is what is holding me back from getting PMMA, but from your description is sounds like and easy fix, but like I said, it doesn\'t sound like a granuloma to me, more like a large Nodule.

I forgot how detailed you all are on PhalloBoards. What i had was not officially a \"Granuloma\" i just wasn\'t sure what else to call it. I didnt get an official diagnosis but it was a bump or irregularity or Nodule the size of a peanut and was obvious. I didnt take a pic of it. I can take a pic of what it looks like now but it would be useless because there is nothing to see. not even a scar.

As for the Removal it was pretty simple. the doctor made a small incision and removed it. i didnt ask to see it after it was removed, i was just happy it was gone. the doctor then put in a stitch to close the incision and gave me instructions to remove the stitich in one week or 10 days i forget exactly. I removed it when i was told and that was the end of it. It healed well and i havent had any problems since.

As for dr.Rosenthal. Im not sure what his he does or doesnt know about absorption of the Belladerm. Most of his patients arent local and by the time it absorbs i dont think many of us are going for follow ups or still in contact with dr.R. i never spoke to dr.R about my disappointment regarding the bella absorbing and thats because i dont think it would have done be any good. I think its pretty obvious at this point that bella does absorb for most and maybe everyone. Im sure its to different degrees for diff people. Now that ive had PMMA im not really sure if it kept absorbing or stabilized.

as for the PMMA quantities i had in each round i believe it was.

round 1 10% i had 21 cc\'s

round 2 20% i got 20 cc\'s

round 3 20% i got 24 or 25 cc\'s i think i got xtra in round 3 becasue of the xtra incisions i got mid shaft that allowed the doc to spread the PMMA out all the way to the head easier.

Hey Kingpin
You\'ll remember me. I had the Belladerm and lig cut with Dr R as well. Although I lost feeling on the top side, and lost length by 1\" post op. I was able to regain the 1\" with streaching.

For me yes the Belladerm reabsorbed, but not just in thickness, in length and width.

Preop I was 6\"x4.25
1 year I was 6\"x4.75
2-1/2 year I was 5.25x4.5 and badly twisted, curled like a banana notted.

I\'m glad your Belladerm is doing well, personally, had I known about such things I would have gone straight for the PPMA......but size no longer matters to me.

best of luck

Justave

Hi Kingpin

Great report -- gives all of us with PMMA some very valuable insight.

Could you explain in little more detail the bump you had on your penis?

Was it consistently apparent, or did it express itself more after use/sex?

Also, was it dis-comfortable or just ugly?

Finally, did you happen to have any other symptoms -- such as swollen lymph nodes or anything related to the \"peanut\" sized bump?

Thanks in advance!

Dark

justave: im sorry to hear about your complications. was your Belladerm twisted rite from the start or did it happen over time?

darkstaff: my \"bump\" was consistent and didnt change. it wasnt painful either. i had no other symptoms besides the bump itself.

Hey Kingpin
First a correction, I measured 5.0x4.5 the other day, but as to the twist. I would say I had a slip of the implant immediately after surgery, producing a bit of a notch, which wasn\'t too bad. I noticed the implant getting thinner immediately. One week after surgery I was 5.0 Girth, by 6 months after streaching and regaining my original length, I was at 4.75. So for about a year right around 4.75, but I didn\'t measure much just on the 1 year anniversary then at just about 2 years, I could tell it was absorbing quite a bit. Didn\'t worry too much until the entire shaft started to curly up, especially the gland between 2 year and 2-1/2 years.

I have just started doing the grip streaching again, only a week in. I think maybe it is beginning to straighten out, hopefully.....will let you know.

But I am surprised how much it absorbed, and I don\'t know why, my health is good, not overweight, no medication or anything,

If I knew 2-1/2 years ago what I know now I would not have gone the belloderm route.....I would probably done something, but likely something else.

Don\'t know anything about PMMA, need to do some reading,
