Update: It\'s been about 8 months since my sudden inflammation experience with my implant. Things are pretty good these days. I now find that slight inflammation will come on during times of fatigue, illness and not taking care of myself. Once I get back to normal my implant calms down. There\'s no pain or itching associated with this mild inflammation, just swelling and the imperfections are more visible during this time. It has smoothed out quite a bit since the whole fiasco.

I\'m heading to Tijuana in about 10 days to have some touch ups done to correct some of the areas that never really softened up. In particular there is a large hard lump of 30% from my round 3 that just won\'t soften up. When Erect this lump is very noticeable ever since my inflammation onset in July. I\'m hoping Dr C can get in there with the cannula and break down the PMMA, coating it lightly with a little 10% to smooth it out. Also a couple little lumps that need to be addressed. I\'m confident that this touch up round will go smoothly and should rectify any remaining irregularities.

Hope everyone is well on here. I\'ll post once I\'m in the big T.

Thanks
Red

Hi all, I am on this forum for quite a while now and I read countless of pages here. I don\'t think I read in any of the last year report that lumps should soften over time. I have quite a hard lump despite my rather modest gains. What time are we talking about for a lump to soften away?

Undecided,

It is all particular to the person. I had a very small lump at/just behind my Circumcision scar that took a couple of months to soften up. Other guys end up having them addressed during future sessions. I don\'t know if it made any difference but I would massage it quite often in hopes that it would minimize. Eventually it did and is no longer there.

Some of my lumps at the base of my shaft softened in about 6-8 months but others that were closer to the top of my Foreskin have not softened at all. Touch ups are a reality of this procedure. I\'m going for my second touch up in a week. Hopefully this will be my last.

Just got back from Tijuana and my (hopefully) last touch up session. I\'ve now had 3 rounds and 2 touch ups. I am very very pleased with this session. Dr. C and Wade broke up the clumpy bulges on the sides of my shaft and added another layer of 10% at the base. So far the results are amazing and in time the sides should come down more and the base should thicken up. They gave me a few Kenalog injections in a few bumps that they noticed during the touch up. I\'m super excited to see the outcome.

If you\'ve read any of my posts from last summer you will know how scary and upsetting my inflammation experience was. If you end up experiencing the same thing just relax and follow Dr.C\'s advice and instructions, and most of all be patient. It felt like a million years but 8 months later I\'m in better shape than I was before all the inflammation started.

So far I am experienceing no discomfort from my new adition of 10%. It\'s been 48 hours.

later.

Red, do you have any updates since your touch-up in March? I was there at the same time - and now I have hard lumps all over the place (and new ones keep developing). Did the Kenalog shot help? Did they cut any of the lumps out of the skin - or just try to break them up? I am not sure if I should go back there or not...the costs and time involved have really added up.

Well I feared this day would come again. I have experienced another inflammatory reaction to the PMMA implant. This however is different as Dr C had used silicone micro droplets the last touch up, which were amazing and smooth when first injected. However, I have recently had a bacterial prostate infection and at the onset of that my implant swelled up. I started on antibiotics which cleared up the prostate issue right away and the swelling in my penis had started to subside. A few days after, the implant started to get very hard. Now it feels like my Dick has a turtle shell on it. I am having a hard time pulling back the Foreskin as the hardened part of the implant is in the way. I\'m hoping this will soften and resolve over time but I don\'t know much about silicone and from what I have looked at, once it hardens I think you either have to live with it or get it removed.

I have contacted DR C and Wade but have yet to hear back.

Any info or advice would be super helpful.

I don\'t want to go to my Dr mostly due to embarrassment and I have been trying to look for Dermatologists that can help but am having no luck so far

This is the first time I\'ve thought I wish I didn\'t get this implant.

Disaster averted!

Thanks to Hodlde for his suggestion of using DMSO with Apple Cider Vin applied with a Q-tip on the bulging hard area. ( making sure the surface area is clean and dry with no soap residue ). I added emu oil and castor oil using a fresh Q tip after applying the DMSO/ACV. The DMSO I used is 99% fragrance free from Biovea. 3 parts DMSO with Braggs organic ACV 3 times a day ( ON CLEAN SKIN ) and let it air dry before putting any clothes on.

This process might be a pain in the ass but its a lot better than a trip to Tj and a bunch of steroid injections, which I\'m still not sure work that well. My swelling has completely subsided in 2 days of this regime and the hard \"turtle shell\" like area on the top of my shaft has softened so much it feels more like a tiny sea shell. It looks completely normal again when soft and when hard the shell like area is slightly visible which is probably a 85% improvement from what it was like 2 days ago.

I take back saying I wish I hadn\'t had this implant done :/

... today is even better and softer than yesterday. Hard \"shell\" like area continues to shrink. Looks completely normal when soft. Haven\'t seen it Erect yet today. I think I\'m too nervous. I\'ll give it a few more days before I look at it hard. We are on speaking terms again but I\'m just not ready to get intimate lol.

Wow! That is amazing. I bought the ACV at GNC and ordered the same brand of DMSO you used online from that same website you did...and emu + castor from amazon is coming...so I\'m going to give this all a shot when it\'s all here.

Can you describe how you use \"3 parts dmso and 1 part ACV\" on the q-tip? Do you measure it in a syringe like hoodle was describing?

Do you dip the q-tip in the bottle or would that contaminate it? Then is the oil to prevent the DMSO from irritating the skin - once it\'s dry, or do you want the oil put on with everything?

Sorry for all the questions - I just want to follow your process exactly.

This is awesome news & I really hope this works for me too... btw, was your PMMA softened or did this just soften the silicone reaction?

Hey Restoration

I was originally just dipping the Q-tip into the ACV and then using the other end to dip into the DMSO bottle and applying. But then I used a shot glass to measure them into a sealed container that I dip the q tip into and apply to the skin.

I used emu oil because I had heard about its many benefits for skin and hair and that it absorbs easily into the layers of skin. I actually used it on my face and after about 6 months it got rid of my sun spots. So i figured it might help in combo with the DMSO to keep the implant from drying and hardening... and also keep the skin moisturized. The emu oil I have is in a small bottle with a pump so I just pump 2-3 drops onto the skin and use another clean Q-tip to spread it around.

The castor oil I just had in my medicine cabinet and same thing, read lots of stuff about the health benefits of castor oil so figured I\'d just finish off with that for the hell of it. I dip the other end of the Q-tip I used to apply the emu oil right into the castor oil bottle and apply. Then I let it all dry for about 10 min before putting clothes on.

The application of oil has IMO helped keep the skin from getting irritated.

I had hard areas on the sides that were hardened 30% PMMA that DR C had broken up. Those also have softened. But the major area that was hard like a shell was IMO from the silicone. But the small PMMA areas that I still had after my last touch up are not even palpable right now ( when soft ) I still haven\'t and a good look at it hard yet.

Sounds good... thanks again. I\'m glad you\'re not getting any negative effects from the dmso - cuz some people have reported it\'s really harsh on the skin. I can\'t wait until it gets here. I have the hard areas on the side from 30% also. I described them before like chewed up gum, on each side... some of it has like a hard shell on top. NOne of this was there after r2...all happened after r3. so weird.
