Let me just say that I am not defending anyone, the Dr included. I think that you all need to realize that the vast majority of people that have successful surgeries are not going to create profiles online to talk about it. The Dr claims to have performed over 1000 of these surgeries. As far as I can tell there are only a hand full of you that have had any issues......

No problem Mega! Do you mind sharing your experience and photos with us? There are few if any positive reports that I\'m aware of regarding Dr. Elist\'s prosthesis and your experience would be of great interest to others considering the procedure. Personally, I would like to hear your entire story from the beginning as I am intrigued about how you found about about Dr. Elist and also, how you feel about his newer designs versus previous models (ie: mesh for glans) etc. Thanks for enlightening our handful of members that have not been as fortunate as you have.

Respectfully,
M7

Messageman--

I had the implant replaced for a larger size back in June 2010. That is the current implant that I have now. I gained and Inch and a half after the surgery, not 3/4 of an Inch.

It took me almost 3 months to achieve that increase in Erect length. The soft length was immediate. I did not research on line at all before the procedure. I found out about the doctor through my friend that had the surgery.

Yes my measurements are 7.5 x 8 1/4

Great accomplishment, Megadong. Some of Elist\'s patients chose to exchange their implant for a bigger one after a while. Have you considered doing that too?

Hi Megadong Just curios: Have you ever had your implant updated (taken out and had a newer model put in)?Was your ' Inch gain in Erect length achieved right after the surgery? If not, how long did it take? Before you had the implant put in, did you do any research on the web (for example, MYNEWSIZE) about the procedure? How did your friend find out about the implant?Your measurements are 7.5 inches in length X 81/4 inches in Girth? Is this correct? Thanks, Messageman

I had the implant put in back in June of 2007, I just got out of the military and one of the guys in my unit had it put in... So I decided to do the same thing. I am sure you are all wondering what my results were so I will not keep you in suspense. I went from 6 long and 6 in Girth (Erect) to 7 1/2 long and 8 1/4 inches Erect. So I gained and Inch and a half of length and 2 and a 1/4 inches of Girth. The biggest increase was in the soft state though. I used to be a Grower, but not any more. I am not 6x6 when I am soft. It could be 10 degrees outside and I would still be that big. That\'s what I love about the implant. It makes you big all the time. As far as I know I have the XL implant. I am not sure if it is one or 2 pieces. I would have to call the doc and find out.

Any other questions please ask....

MegadongI, and no doubt many others on this site, have been patiently waiting 'your story' on your successful implant story. The reason being is that there are so few 'happy ending' implant stories that the addition of your case (four years and going strong no less) would be an invaluable resource for not only the education of our site members, but also to give the 'good doctor' and his implantable dildo some badly needed credibility'.. I find it troubling that most Elist/implant supporters who come onto this site (and the laughable MNS site) have an agenda to defend Dr. Elist with false information (FDA approved procedure), disingenuous glowing reports about the implant, promises to give more details'and suggestions that members who have posted negative accounts of their implant experiences have ulterior motives, or have had issues with the implant due to unfortunate luck, or (most likely) due to their own fault.. I'm not sure what your original motivation was with posting on this site'but if it's to stick up for the 'good doctor', it's backfiring so far. Please respond to this with a well thought out reply'One that delivers your story with details (such as dates, implant model, feel of the implant, etc) and pictures (as promised). Messageman

I had sent Dr E 1500 dollars and had my schedules time to have his implant..I had read this site and had seen different people\'s comments both positive and negative.. So I just called to speak with the good doctor.. My concerns were would it feel normal, how Flaccid would it be, and what determine the size of implant..As i asked the questions he became very strange meaning he seemed to be very rushed and did not want to spend any length of time talking to me... Second call he became more rushed and abrupt.. Finally the third call he told me very quick that i may not be a qualified patient and told me he had to go to another call... I then called his office and kindly asked them to send my deposit back..I waited three weeks to get the check signed by the good doctor.. Enough said... Richard

FDA approved? FDA records show no such record of propthesis under anything to do with the penis. Here are the records www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdo...umn=DecisionDateDESC If he had FDA approval surely this would be featured on his site. All the site claims is \'FDA approved\' but no reference number. Yet he provides all the details for the patent! Odd that.

Megadong'The suggestion that the handful of Elist implant cases'that have gone badly are the ones that post, and that the majority of successful cases simply don't post, is ludicrous. The reason I can say this with such conviction is that I , like brother Hoddle, have personally known many of the'men who have gone through the entire process of: a) Considering the implant...Of course at the mercy of Elist's 'false assurances' (okay...lies), 'and couple of nicely planted shills doesn't hurt either, b) Having the procedure'This is major surgery and the recuperation is painful as hell and one fraught with constant fear and uncertainty'And the 10K price tag doesn't help either.c) Having issues such as penis retraction, sharp edges (resultant lesions), penis is unnaturally hard, numbness, penis basically looks and feels fake, infection, implant is bursting through the skin, etc ''d) Having it removed (in an examination room no less)'e) Experiencing'(significant) permanent retraction,' numbness,'and disfigurement of the penis'.F) Depression and anger.G) Resignation with'the 'new normal' mixed with flashes of optimism that someday he may be able to have a normal sized, functioning penis once again.'As many of you already know, I was one of Dr. Elist's original guinea pigs (way back in 2009)'I was captivated by the sales pitch by ''the good doctor' and 'a few 'glowing' reports 'of the implant on the old MNS site'back when MNS was relatively legit and basically (but not completely) free of censorship. I, along with many other prospective implant victims, were 'babes in the woods', and \"ripe for picking\". No doubt those 'glowing' reports were shills'but hey, I didn't even consider that the doctor would resort to such dirty tactics to make money... 'I do remember one shill who was giving a daily account,'detailing how his implant surgery was a 'complete secret and that not another soul knew about it''But two weeks later mentioned how he visited a 'school friend', who happened to be a 'plastic surgeon' (how convenient!), and he'showed him the stitching to see what he (the friend) thought. Apparently, the 'plastic surgeon' marveled at the expertise of the doctor and how it was the 'best work (cosmetic) he had ever seen'. I remember the warning flags went off in my head then'But like many of us do, I chose to ignore this gut feeling and chase after that 'giant dong dream'.'The first hint of implant trouble came in December, 2008...and'this dropped like a bomb on the MNS site. Apparently Doctor Elist had done a few implant surgeries in Abu Dhabi (UAE) that autumn, and one of his patients (ironically a doctor) had a severe infection with the implant 'and it the silicone implant) burst through the skin. The poor guy almost lost his penis to necrosis. He posted horrific pictures on the MNS site accompanied with a heart wrenching account of how his penis had retracted to about 3 inches erect, that his penis was disfigured, his girlfriend had subsequently left him, and that his life was basically destroyed. The post was eventually deleted from the site'but by that time most on the site had already seen it. We wanted answers! At first, Dr. Elist denied it'Then he admitted that 'there was a patient in Abu Dhabi who had 'problems'' but it was his 'own fault''Apparently he 'took too many anti biotics'. The \"ol\' Elist chestnut\": \"blame it on the patient\"...Works every time!Of course this was a humongous warning flag but I,of course, chose to ignore it. Over the following months, I, along with'several other guys I knew from the site, decided to have it done. 'Most, , if not all, had issues with the implant'In fact, I only know of'five guys (ever) who haven't had it removed, whether it be from dissatisfaction with the implant itself or infection'.and this is after monitoring the progress and track record of the Elist implant on three different websites for over three years! So'Megadong, unless the Elist patients from 'the old MNS site are the unluckiest bunch of guys in the f'in world, I would say people who have 'issues' with the implant are the norm rather than outliers.'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''Messageman'BTW, you never answered my question(s) in my first reply to your post:1)''''' Do you have the original (classic) implant model (from 4 years ago)?2)''''' Why do you think Dr. Elist keeps updating and tinkering with the implant if there are 'no issues'?

megadong wrote: I see that there is a lot of negative info on doctor elist here, I have had them implant for over 4 years and have never experianced anything nagative at all.

From what I understand the doctor has FDA approval on the implant. If the complication rate was that high how could he have that approval?

Does that make sense?

Believe it or not, the earliest progress reports on PhalloBoards (when it was first created) were by a handful of mostly positive implant experiences. We\'re open to both the good & bad.
Sure, there are negative accounts of the implant too. This is an open forum, so should that come as a surprise? If the recently-popular PMMA method were to show serious complications in a patient, this would be the first forum/site to learn of it! There are good and bad accounts of FFT, Alloderm, etc, as well.
If you are an implant success, I think you\'d do the discussion justice by contributing your own progress report in the designated Progress Reports forum. Thanks.

But it\'s not a handful of messageboard of the percentage of posters who have detailed their accounts from before surgery. If it were just a small percentage then this would surely have been reflected with just a small perecentage of messageboard posters, but right from the start posters on the old MNS were having problems (which when posted were usually quickly deleted.) If these were guys who just came along and announced they had issue\'s then it would be different, but these are guys who announced they were considering the surgery, then had it and then ran into problems. Also both Miro Djordevic and Rados Djinovic (who hate each other and have no reason to supports each others story) seperately confirmed that they had to remove all but one of the implants when Elist trialed it in Serbia.

I bet the vast majority of posters here that have had problems with the implant had messagboard profiles before they had problems.
