@Letsgiveitago

My current plan is to go ahead and have the PMMA tomorrow and then use an ADS extender/stretcher device over the coming months. A little bit of research online suggests that these devices can be very effective at reducing the curve. Extenders do not actually affect Peyronie\'s plaque but reduce curvature (minimally) by means of stretching healthy tissue. If one were to attempt to stretch the fibrous plaque, it could cause further trauma usually leading to an increase in curvature. Avoid these apparatuses altogether or use very light tension.I have had a curve in my penis for as long as I can remember (I\'m 34 now). I\'m pretty sure it is slowly increasing though. This is congenital curvature and NOT Peyronie\'s. If it is worsening, I should advise you that a curved penis is more likely to receive trauma and the result can be Peyronie\'s disease which is indicated by a fibrous plaque which is not always palpable. A MRI or perhaps a color doppler ultrasound with an induced Erection would provide a more accurate diagnosis. If your curvature does not prohibit you from intercourse or other sexual relations, I advise leaving it alone. If you notice your curvature continues to worsen, contact me immediately to prevent progression. I know its all a bit last minute but do you have any advice for me? I think you\'ll be fine just remember to exercise extreme caution when your penis is Erect. NEVER allow a woman on top (cowgirl/reverse cowgirl) and if you do, limit her movement by holding her legs/hips down. Never compromise axial rigidity. Any trauma while Erect could induce a bout of Peyronie\'s. I do not feel you need surgical correction at this point. If it worsens, my opinion might change. I did lose some length despite having grafting done, however, I recovered some Girth. I use an ADS and am having quite a bit of success. Some could be attributed to the graft stretching and some could be due to ligaments or the tunica albuginea. I only use mild tension but for many, many hours per day. If it ever comes to the point that you need surgical correction, I highly recommend Dr. Paulo Henrique Egydio of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Fred Grossman is a decent second choice and is located in Denver, CO. Lets hope you never need it.If the only way to treat the curve is BEFORE PMMA, then maybe this is what I need to do. How long after correcting the curve must I wait before I get PMMA? I\'m so keen to get the Girth enhancement, I\'m not sure how long I could wait!

If you have further questions, feel free to ask.

Yours,

M7 - I can\'t tell you how much I appreciate your input on this one.

I was very confused and re-thinking the whole thing. I did a fair bit of research online before hearing from you and I was very reassured to see that everything I found out matched up with your own suggestions. You also added some extra information which I hadn\'t found online.

As you suggest, I have congenital curvature, NOT peyronies. On reflection, I don\'t think its getting worse at all. I think it just shocked me to see in a photo how curved it really is. I\'ve never had any pain and its never caused any problems with intercourse. Its been that way since I was a teenager and I\'ve never really given it much thought - I think that means I don\'t qualify as someone for whom the condition is causing emotional distress! So with no pain, no issue with sex and no emotional distress, it would be madness to have the de-gloving surgery and reduce the length of my penis in doing so. Well thats my thought on the matter at this point in time.

I\'ve bought a \'Matters of Size\' extender device. I don\'t know if I\'ll definitely use it but I thought it might be helpful during my post care to make sure the PMMA settles as straight as possible. I will NOT be stretching, tugging, using traction or anything like that. I simply want a type of splint device that can be used to help my penis sit straightish while the PMMA settles. If you think this is a bad idea or have a better suggestion, I\'d love to hear it.

Thanks again for all you\'ve done to keep these forums working as they do. Thanks especially for the direct support you\'ve given me this week.

@Letsgiveitago

You\'re quite welcome brother. Make sure that you only apply enough tension to keep your penis in an extended state. Regardless of what you hear or perhaps read on the web, please contact me before trying anything despite it being \"medically endorsed\". I have great experience in penile curvature and other disorders of the penis. Glad I could be of help.

Peyronie's Disease... My experience 11 years 6 months ago #1278129665

Hey guys, great forum here. I was happy to find out about this procedure, the only thing that im disappointed with is that i\'ve had the nebsit procedure correction, and although my penis is straight, ive lost 1 Inch in length and i was wondering if i had dr paolo\'s miracle procedure, would he be able to remove the staples and re-instate his procedure and gain my 1 Inch back?

i was going to get PMMA however i think this for me is much more important because if it means gaining my 1 Inch back i could then go on to get PMMA after.

My only concern is that will he be able to do it regarding my circumstances of already doing the nebsit procedure?

A link to his contact details would be great ( i tried a link m7 posted on here but it said \"page not found\")

- regards , mic.

Peyronie's Disease... My experience 10 years 6 days ago #1285213450

Hey Miracle, thanks for making this thread. I wish I had read and found it years ago. Let me tell my story about congenital curvature (NOT peyronies) and how I dealt with it and the problems that arised. So I had severe downward curvature since Ive been a child, I decided to save money and had corrective surgery with Dr. Kostas Konstantinides (who is rather unpopular in this forum as I found out, but he was the only affordable doctor in europe who was able to perform this surgery with grafting techniques and not by nesbit... so I had no shortening) 5 years ago. Following the surgery I had paraphimosis during recovery because we decided to save my Foreskin... I had to get Circumcision surgery for the paraphimosis (also done by konstantinides). All in all the surgery was succesfull I would say, but the result is not as aesthetically pleasing as I wish it to be (see added images). Here is the problem: My penis now has a slight kink (not a \"natural\" curve mind you) to the top... konstantinides warned me before surgery that \"overcorrection\" is rather common so a slight curve in the opposite direction is nothing to worry about. My concern is that it\'s not a curve... it\'s a rather unusual kink or bend. Also there is a slight bump on the underside of the penis where the graft was implanted. The penis does not really feel very smooth. Konstantinides told me that I can try to \"smoothen\" it out with a Penis Pump or a stretching device or a combination of both, and if that fails I can get free fat implant surgery in the spot where its uneven. In the last years I did not really care that much (had other things to do) and did not want to undergo another surgery anyways. I trained with a Penis Pump occasionally and used a stretcher but didnt do enough to see any major results, but I think it evened out a tiny bit even with irregular \"manual\" pe. My question is: what is your advice... how can I proceed... I would like to even it out and make my Dick look better. Do you think PMMA might help? Can I even get PMMA with the upward kink that I have .... also I do not know how much of the \"problem\" is just in my head .... sometimes I think I should just say fuck it and live with the Dick that I got now, but then insecurities strike again... I added two recent sideways pics of my penis, rate away if you like: size wise I\'m rather happy with the resuts (7x5,5)

so guys... what advice can you give me, you seem like a rather knowledgeable bunch

Peyronie's Disease... My experience 8 years 9 months ago #1291134668

Glad to find this site. I have looked at so many sites on Doctors who offer penile surgery, that I don\'t know who to believe and I hate to travel all over the country to talk to them all. I\'m 51, been having some penile issues all my life. Started out born with Peyrone\'s, droops down at the end. When a teen I measured between 5.5\' and 6\' in length. I was having Prostatitis back when I was 35, the Urologist told me he could correct my Peyrones, but I thought it was okay. My wife never complained, and since my urethra comes out the front, it made orgasm feel really good.

A year later, my wife started having affairs, etc. Kept saying it would stop, etc. So now we are divorced, had to wait til my girl was 11 to get custody in my state. (She\'s much better off...)
Anyway, one morning I woke up mad at my wife, flipped over on my morning willy and it snapped. After it went limp, it seemed okay. But was bent to the left afterwards when Erect, and it hurt. So my local Urologist \"rubbed and massaged it while Flaccid, said it would straighten up between six months and two years. It did in two years. However, my penis is much shorter (barely four inches!) and hurts like it wants to go longer but is being held back with pressure. It has always been this way, but worse than ever now. And to top it off, for whatever reason my penis has way too much Foreskin at the top (facing me when hard),and of course none at the front. Dad always told me when I was a little kid to hold my penis by the Foreskin when I urinated. (?) Which obviously made it worse. And my member is real thick at the base, I\'ve had real difficulty finding condoms that will fit, they are all too tight at the base. My penis is thick with a large glans anyway, and the base makes sex with a condom hurt. With all this problem, I\'m scared to date because I don\'t think any woman is going to like my penis.

Is there anyone who can recommend some good docs for all this? I did find one in CA and one in PA that sound good, but I want more knowledgeable opinions. And if I have to go overseas, I\'m good with it if they do a better job. Thanks in advance.

DATE..., most decent women don\'t care that much about penis size, curvature, etc. They care much more about you as a person, and your character than your Dick.

If your size bothers YOU, you should do something about it. Most women don\'t care as long as you\'re average.

I am almost 18 and have had down bending pyronies for as long as I can remember I think it\'s because when I first started getting hard ons I would push it down to hide them, anyway I would just like to know how can I resolve the bending issue it\'s about 35-40 degrees and I don\'t want surgery because that apparenlty reduces penis size. What is the best way to go, I haven\'t seen the doctor because I\'m too embarressed and I have never let anyone touch or see my penis because I am afraid of it being too bent.
