Peyronie's Disease... My experience 12 years 3 months ago #1274509407

Hi M7..! I\'m thicker now as the graft was placed right at the base extending out approx 1 Inch from base... So it actually added some Girth... I posted some photos some time back showing length / Girth... I may post a couple more sometime... FYI -- I\'m pretty sure Dr Egydio is going to be offering an injectable filler (not PMMA) but something else.. He told me he could \"fill in\" the gap along my lower left side where the indention partially came back (which is a bummer)... I\'m still way better off than prior to surgery... Anyway, overall I\'m pleased and lately my equipment has had major workouts -- by far the most since my surgery on 11-30-2011. It held up great and was fantastic and she seemed really satisfied... I still wish I was longer but i guess not to be... I really dont think length can be permanently attained unless it was \"length lost due to injury\" and is \"recovered by surgery\"... If I really believed I could actually lengthen my EL, I would do it... What are your thoughts on that subject now...? ThanksM7

H4M, thanks very much for providing me some more detail. Yes, Egydio surgery cost to me sounds the same as it was for u - and for me too it is a lot of cash - but on the other hand much less than a new car! I\'m still contemplating going ahead with the Surgery - will definitely post if I go for it. Thanks again, LB.

Hello friends,
I hope we can change the name of DR. for a pseudonym, as the forum is open phalloboard via google.
There are many crazy searchers, which will do nothing will only speculate with our doctors, and it slows our development because the medical profession tends to be more guarded with these new techniques.

I have an angle in my penis. I say angle because from the base to about two inches out it is straight and then there is a slight angle to the left. I can post pics if needed, but would compare the total amount of curve to GSXR750. It has been this way for a long time and doesn\'t bother me or my wife, but my only concern is if it may get worse in the future. I do not remember a specific event where I injured my penis nor do I remember when the curve began, but I do know that it hasn\'t always been there. My Urologist didn\'t confirm or deny that I had Peyronie\'s when I asked him about the curve. He did say that he would correct it by putting a few stitches in the opposing side to pull it straight, but it would be at the cost of about 1/4\" in length. Should I consider doing this? I really don\'t want to lose 1/4\" as I am only 5.75\" EL and 6\" BPEL. At the same time if I am going to end up at a 90 degree angle to the left I can only assume it would be better/easier to correct now. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If it doesn\'t bother you or your spouse, leave it alone. If the curvature has been present for this long, it is stabilized and not likely to become worse. Just avoid any trauma especially while Erect.

I have another question. How does one differentiate peyronie\'s from a healthy curved penis? Or what is the method of testing for diagnosis? Thanks again for the info.

Peyronie\'s or congenital curvature is best determined by a qualified Urologist. I suggest making an appointment ASAP.

So if my curve is peyronie\'s it can suddenly get worse without cause? Or would I have to injure it somehow? I will make an appt. I am just wondering how a diagnosis, if that is the case, affects my life? I haven\'t seen any change for years.

Have your Urologist do an ultrasound or MRI to detect fibrosis or possibly calcification of a fibrotic plaque. Peyronies is usually caused by trauma to an Erect penis. Seek medical evaluation. You either have congenital (born with it) or are in the chronic stage (stabilized) of Peyronies.

@hope4more and others who have gone through Dr. Paulo\'s surgery:

Hi all, my first post here.

I have either a congenital curvature or peyronie ( I believe it is a curvature, no visible signs of peyronie ) - it is bent upward ( and also a bit left twisted), like a banana.

I have some questions about the pre-op from you guys...
But first, let me introduce my measurements, taken using a piece of hard thick paper ( a piece of some box ) with a 6\" hole ( like a \"glory hole\" ) to help with bottom measurement and to have a better notion of Girth difference between base and top:
(PS: My Erection is \"*VERY* hard\" )
BPEL TOP : 5,5\"
BPEL BOTTOM: 8\"
BPEL SIDE: 6,25\" ( bendind and trying to get it straight )
BEG: 5\"
MSEG: 4,25\"
Behind Glans EG: 4,25\"

So... my questions are:

Before surgery, did you have the same asymmetric sizes? Did anything change post-surgery?
Is Circumcision necessary? ( I\'m not cincumcized )

Dr. PE\'s technique promises to stretch the shorter side ( in my case, the top ) to match the longer side ( in my case, the bottom ). But I\'ve seen some complaints here and there about the fact that he might have used the Nesbit technique instead of his stretching technique, because the final result was a shorter penis ( the question is shorter than what? Previous bent size? ).

What do you say? Which measurement was shorter after the surgery? Did it get \"straight\" or there is some angle left?

Is it possible to correct this assymetry later using PMMA ( and try to get to somewhere between 5.5\" and 6\" at the same time )?

BTW: it is very frustrating not knowing how big you actually are... I see other\'s Penis pictures ( straight, not bent ) and I get jealous :/

I\'ll post other question at the correct topics ( Lots of readings! )

Hi!

I\'m in a bit of a hurry here! I\'ll be brief:

I ask you miracle: How much length did you loose from Dr. Egydio\'s corrective surgery? Did he use Nesbit instead of HIS technique ? If so, why? Which length did you loose? ( lateral \"average\" size, bottom size, top size? )

As I stated before, Dr. Edgydio\'s \"miracle\" technique is meant to stretch the short size to match the long one. In my case, the short upper size should become equal to the bottom size, which is something around 7\" to 8\" ( measurement taken using the card board with the hole like in the pictures attached )

I\'m not sure I would be allowed to post my pictures in a post from other members, but what the hell, we\'re talking about a correction surgery, so I would like to show both my unit size and its curvature.
My goals are to fix the curvature and grow girthier, just like Miracle ( but not that much )

I\'m eager to find out if this is congenital curvature or peyronie.... I\'ll make an appointment with Dr. PE ASAP.

Here are the pictures:

1st: my unit ( glans exposed, I\'m not circumsized )
2nd: My curvature

I\'m not sure I\'ve done the attachment correctly....

Yes, I\'m overweighted ATM, but by the end of the year I\'ll be slim with some muscles again and in 2 years, I\'ll be stronger

Please, I repeat, let me know if I do something wrong. I want to keep up with this forum\'s members quality!

I\'m only 2 hours late for bed. I\'ll exercice like a zombie tomorrow

See you soon!

Peyronie's Disease... My experience 11 years 6 months ago #1277927014

Hi M7,

I\'m booked in to see Dr C tomorrow. I\'ve just travelled halfway round the world for this PMMA procedure.

Yesterday I took my first ever photo of my penis and I\'m quite shocked to see how curved it really is. If I had seen my shocking reality 2 weeks ago, I may have done things differently.

My current plan is to go ahead and have the PMMA tomorrow and then use an ADS extender/stretcher device over the coming months. A little bit of research online suggests that these devices can be very effective at reducing the curve.

I have had a curve in my penis for as long as I can remember (I\'m 34 now). I\'m pretty sure it is slowly increasing though.

I know its all a bit last minute but do you have any advice for me?

If the only way to treat the curve is BEFORE PMMA, then maybe this is what I need to do. How long after correcting the curve must I wait before I get PMMA? I\'m so keen to get the Girth enhancement, I\'m not sure how long I could wait!

Thanks in advance for your help, really appreciate it.
