Thanks HC & Rocker.. It\'s warm comments like that which make my day!
I\'m not sure about the cost of the procedure exactly... so this is my best guess -- I pay 20% of the procedure, insurance pays 80%
My surgeon bill was $250, and my hospital bill was $350, so $600 all the together for my out of pocket, that means my insurance paid $2400, so the entire procedure was ~$3,000
To be honest, I\'m having some second thoughts about getting the degloving procedure...
in all honesty, if I had to do this over again, I probably would have gone and seen Dr C, let him work his magic... and if Worse came to absolute worse, get the de-gloving. I made the decision to listen to my local
Urologist... partly because I had been shunned by a few local doctors, so when one finally listened to me, and showed caring, I jumped on his band wagon. ShouldA- CouldA- WouldA game... I don\'t play it anymore...
So -- The latest thing I need to figure out is if during the de-gloving procedure, did the
PMMA move to the base of my penis, forming a hard ring and a bump on the scrotum... or is it simply healing?
Time will tell.... but it could be a good data point for all your future
PMMA de-glovers (if there are any) ... so I\'ll keep ya all posted.
It\'s
Hanging nicely -- seems like
Flaccid length is same as before... also no pain at all, no urethra pain like I had before when inflamed with
PMMA, and no large lump on the right side...
I have have no obvious sensitivity loss either... so that\'s good news. My only concern is when I get
Erect, the penis doesn\'t extend at all, it just gets hard... so it\'s
Flaccid state is it\'s
Erect state... Also -- It\'s only been 3 weeks... so hopefully the lateral mobility when errect will come back, and hopefully this huge lump is just healing process.
I meet with Singh next Monday --- so we\'ll see what he has to say...
Lastly -- as many of you know, I suffer from Anxiety ... last Friday I got a new general practioner doctor... and he put me on some anti-anxiety meds... man, where were these things 2 months ago! I could have really used them... I bet it would have changed my decision to get the
PMMA out the way I did... let that be a lesson to you anxious peps out there looking to get into the PE scene --- get on anti-anxiety medication
Thanks for the support! ...
