Why macrolane is not good for the penis?

to be exact, a syringe is $258 per 1ml. there r 2 syringes per box of Juvederm Plus at a cost $586.

Dr. Oates: is it possible to do HA injects if youve already done PMMA? what would you say to someone who presented with a PMMA penis and wanted HA? What about vice-versa? Inasmuch as you can hypothesise and notwithstanding you don\'t recommend PMMA anyway, would you be able to do PMMA on a voluma filled penis? 

Also, how hard is the HA in an Erect penis? Does it provide the firmness of an Erection or is it a little bit different i.e. softer?

Every injectable manufacturer recommends not injecting where a different filler has been injected prior. They really dont like prior permanent fillers. We recently got advised not to inject HA fillers over prior thread lifts because of setting off infection - this is the main worry.

It is possible to introduce small quantities of bacteria with any injection and have a biofilm form. The bacteria are there but not doing anything. then you come along with something else and stir it us and get a significant infection.

I would really prefer not to inject HA over PMMA. The risk is significant. If i met a patient and they really had a problem with the PMMA and I really thought HA could help and we had a long discussion about risk... I would consider with heavy antibiotic coverage... maybe.

I dont think there is any reason to not be able to inject PMMA into a penis with Voluma already there. Although I guess there is the same infection risk.

With a full Erection there is no great difference. The skin is so full it is hard.

I spoke with a Doctor in Germany. He told me that the most important thing is not to inject over 10ml in the first treatment. 
The HA can only be recognised in a layer of 2-4mm arount the penis, everything above that will form nodules and wont get better results. 

He also said that people who came 2-3times in there had permanent gains because the skin gets thicker and in the 2 or 3. procedure he would also apply 15ml if the distribution and everything went well for the first time. 

Well I will maybe go to him for the first round and after that do it on my own (when i see how he does it). He uses Macrolane...he also said that some people absorb macrolane faster and some not.

But injecting over 15ml of HA in the first time...no wonder that the people are not satisfied. (His words)

Permanent gain after HA? Is it even possible? I thought that HA is 100% leaves after 10-12 months.

a partial gain like dr Oates said 1/10.

Actually a friend of mine has just had a really successful treatment with Macrolane he had 10ml and gained half Inch, doc injected it with a micro cannula and his result is looks really even and he is happy with it, also it only cost him £1000. Here\'s contact info.....

Still amazes me. Not  single clinic in the UK for macrolane, PMMA, HA for penis work.!

I\'ve never seen a good result with Macrolane, but having said that, I\'ve only seen it injected in large amounts. Maybe small amounts produce more acceptable results. But I also think skin compliancy is key. In recent weeks I\'ve seen 4 HA results in person and they were all injected by the same guy with the same product. Yet the results varied greatly. Apparently on the guy who had the best result, the HA literally seemed to melt into his own tissue as soon as it was injected. Some people just seem to be more anatomically suited to fillers than others. We have to keep in mind there are guys who have FFT and it feels firm, is smooth and looks totally natural. Yet someone else can go to the same Dr, have the same procedure and end up with a lumpy, soft mess.

A number of UK clinics offered Macrolane, but I think they all stopped due to poor results.
