Prince, Please keep us up to date with your progress in the next year. I am curious if there is a chance of some permanent gain with Radiesse. Category: Injectable Filler Database |

Radiesse works like PMMA but the spheres, after stimulating collagen production, dissolve (PMMA spheres last forever). What remains is collagen not the product. Category: Injectable Filler Database |

He said it can last up to two years. I had it almost a month ago. I hope it won\'t dissolved fast though again though . Will see what happens when I go back for follow up in about a month from now. Category: Injectable Filler Database |

Interesting that he prefers Radiesse over HA. Two other members got it, Yao and Harleyman, and if I recall both lost most or all by around 6 months unfortunately. You actually got a great gain. 0.5 inches for $2400 is a good deal if it lasts a year or longer and is without lumps and looks good. How long does he say it will last? When did you get your second injection? Category: Injectable Filler Database |

He said it lasts longer , but my case was different and we don\'t know why my body reabsorbed the whole thing the first time yet. In addition he said it is safe , doesn\'t migrate, has more nutral feel to it and it might stimulate collagen. In terms of erection it is firm. Category: Injectable Filler Database |

Did he explain why he prefers that to HA? How is the firmness when erect, or is it too soon to tell? Category: Injectable Filler Database |

I just had 2 radiesse 3cc each sessions here in Florida with Dr Grenwald and the first 3cc was reabsorbed by my body after 3 days ?' By the way he did the 2 session for free and he wants to see me again in one month from now again for follow up. My gain was about .5 inch . I was charegd $2400 for the first session 2 '1.5cc each. It looked little bit lumpy at the beginning, but it is getting better with time and there is some pain down in the bottom shaft under the glans sometimes when you squeeze it. The Doctor is very professional and does not recommend any other fillers or PMMA. Category: Injectable Filler Database |

I was reading some papers comparing Calcium Hydroxylapatite (Radiesse) and polycaprolactone (Ellanse) and the conclusion is that the latter last much longer, with added permanent results, due to the longer polymer chain. |

I agree with you. But in my opinion, would be better if we would have all options, not only Ellanse, but also HA, Radiesse, and PMMA. Category: Patient Support Group & Progress Reports |

Any opinions on radiesse vs the HA fillers? Category: Patient Support Group & Progress Reports |

I can understand positions changing over time as they get more experience with different fillers and manufacturers... I gotta find the post, but it was recent and basically it was saying what they currently offer. I also forgot they also said they offer ellanse... it was like this (paraphrasing): pmma - permanent radiesse and ellanse - longevity ha (juvaderm/voluma) - reversability but least favorite so I take it that of the temp fillers they prefer radiesse and ellanse but want to understand the details as to why Category: Patient Support Group & Progress Reports |

I\'m curious too as to why Dr. C feels HA is his least favorite choice as well. In an email exchange he said he couldn\'t guarantee a good cosmetic result with HA and that results last far less than manufacturer claims, which he clarified was one year at best case scenario. However, when speaking to another forum member, they said they had contacted him a year or so ago and he was not even using Voluma then. They stated he was only using Juvederm, which would make a lot more sense in regards to it lasting only a year because that\'s consistent with most reports of Juvederm. So I think his experience in that regard is primarily Juvederm, no Voluma. The issues with not being able to promise a good cosmetic outcome was a bit concerning to me because the injection technique with a cannula seems to be the exact same technique as PMMA and he\'s done more than anyone in the world. Androfill, Dr. Gitt (before he died), Dr. Mata, Dr. Morgenstern, and Dr. Oates all seem to be getting good cosmetic results for the most part albeit many need a secondary injection of 5ml or so to work out any imperfections. So I am not sure why Dr. C is implying he cant get the same results despite having more experience... Maybe he makes better profit margin with PMMA or his patients just have different expectations given they are aware of PMMA and its permanence. Category: Patient Support Group & Progress Reports |

Has anyone had Radiesse with Dr. C? This is driving me crazy, because I saw a recent post by Dr. C somewhere and now I can\'t find it... he said that in addition to pmma, avanti derma offered radiesse and ellanse, and also HA (juvederm and voluma) and said that HA was their \"least favorite.\" So, I take it they prefer radiesse, just wondering why and if anyone had it from them.
