FFT?
Would you mind sharing pictures? Feel free to send privately if you’re comfortable. I’ve had no luck really finding after pictures especially months after the surgery. It’s hard to make a decision when I can’t see results. I am really surprised that doctors don’t have pictures to share and I don’t know if that’s intentional or they just don’t have them.

FFT = Free fat transfer.

They liposuction your fatty areas, so dome other prep and injecting it into your unit. It is a well known procedure for Girth, is seen as semi permanent, as your can/will slowly reabsorb the fat. But the plus point of FFT is that it is your own fat and so your body won't reject it. In my case, it was done because fat contains stem cells and thus promote healing.

I don't have any Erect pics of me now and when I get those I'll probably do a full write up and post pics then.

I’m halfway through the sixth month waiting period before I can do anything else. I see Dr Kansas again this week who’s going to do some incisions in the constricted area that had been the necrotic area. I’m hoping that will open it up so that it spreads out and levels out with the rest of my penis. And I’m hoping that it will give me relief so that I can ejaculate without incredible pain. It’s still disturbing for me to look at it and touch because I can feel all the dips and bumps and lumps as well as see them. That one low area where the construction is, if I put a shaft ring in it it almost looks fairly normal. Requested some referrals for cosmetic surgeons in the area, hoping to avoid degloving it and just do some cosmetic kind of work. I don’t really wanna lose any more length and to de love it means that it will be thinner than it was before I’ve started this process.
Urology Austin who Dr Kansas works for, decided to shut down any discussion about next steps, possible concert, compensation, etc. by saying they would wait until the state complaint against Dr. Dellinger was completed. That can take a year. They are not nice people. They don’t care about their patient. They only want to save money and make sure he gets the blame. He could’ve done this process perfectly and if I had it removed by Dr Kansas, who butchered me, it would have nothing to do with Dellinger. I’m not even enough, despite being kind of jaded to believe people will do the right thing and Kate Henderson, who’s the regional president or vice president, I forget, sorry, Just summarily dismissed my request to talk about it. I’ve worked in corporate healthcare long enough to know who she is. I’ve worked with many people like her, and I have no respect for them because they lack humanity. I could go on about that, but it’s just another aspect of this whole debacle that is so depressing and disturbing

I added two pictures, one with the shafting in place to cover the constricted area and one without. To me it still looks very bad. I’m interested to hear what others have in terms of solution. Even though I was told by Dellinger that Kenalog would not reduce/dissolve The product, I’m wondering now if it would help. Mind you, he documented in emails and messages, and even my chart that Kenalog would do it.

I say this sincerely and respectfully, but I think you may be going too harshly on Dr. Kansas. I don't know him, much less his skillsets, but the problem is that you are dealing with an uncommon issue. Urologists often deal with actual medical conditions, and "fixing up" a mess stemming from an elective procedure is much more niche. He may have done some prior work fixing Loria & Dellinger related botches, but I doubt he has the sample size or working experience to have the best solution, and likely tried his best.

Now I could be wrong, or perhaps I missed/forgot a detail in this lengthy thread, but you need to understand that complications stemming from exposure to silicone injections are always tough, even when being fixed by the very best of hands.

This is also why I was very adamant about consulting with Dr. Carney and others at Morganstern Urology, but I'm assuming logistics (i.e. distance/travel) played a role, I don't know (?) -- they are one of the few with the requisite volume of experience in this particular kind of complication AND also happen to specialize in male Phalloplasty (among many other areas of Urology).

Whatever the case, it seems despite your grievances with Dr. Kansas, you have chosen to continue seeing him -- hopefully you've come to realize or accept that Dr. Kansas is trying his best, and continuing to suggest he's "botched" you is a bit unfair when in the same breath you trust him to do incisions this week.

In other words, I think you've passed on your disappointment and frustrations to Dr. Kansas from Dr. Dellinger, because what you're dealing with right now is fresh on your mind, and it's easy to forget that it was Dellinger who put you in this precarious position (the need for Removal) in the first place.

In order for you to see success through this process, distrusting those who you continue to seek for reconstruction & resolution will inevitably create a negative feedback loop that will only hinder recovery long-term -- you have to remain positive and be sure that the communication between you and Dr. Kansas remains cordial, concise, and clear -- that you two can have a man-to-man as well as a Doctor-to-Patient discussion on your prognosis, and what the future likely entails. You also have to understand that normalcy is still very much on the horizon, but it can be a multiple month commitment that requires acceptance & patience.

I think I'm being more than fair to Kansas given his emails stating he did not know how to handle the situation and he did not consult with Dellinger about what he'd find. Silicone and Silicone oil are very different as you and otherse have pointed out. He apparently saw no need to follow up and do his due diligence. As far as staying with him, the other docs don't want to touch this.
I did reach out to Carney and the logistics due to location are not feasible. \
You don't known every nuance to this situation so of course you can't understand the reasoning behind all decisions or perceptions.

No, I agree with skeptical one on this one I have had Revision work done, and I would never blame the doctor that did the Revision for what originally occurred with the filler. I also agree that being upset with the doctor that did the Revision is only gonna make it more difficult for you to get help. I’m sure Dr. Kansas is well trained, but like Skep said This is a situation that is very unpredictable and he’s doing the best job that he can do so my advice would be do not earn bridges with Dr, Kansas and if possible I would like Skep said try to see a doctor that is very experienced in treating procedures like this Dr. Kearney would be in my opinion probably the best choice or Dr. Solomon out in Philadelphia
Sorrry I was dictating

So as I said before, y’all are not aware of all the other conversations, the emails the Dr notes that he wrote, etc. to indicate that he did not know what he was doing. He did not know how to handle the situation. Those are his words. How y’all can defend but I find it unconscionable. My complaint with Kansas has nothing to Do with what Dellinger did this is about what he did in his surgery.

I saw Dr. Kansas last Thursday and he did all these incisions in the construction area that had been necrotic skin. It used to be about an Inch and a half wide and now it’s very narrow but still a little too deep. It May or may not rise to the other level of skin. The doctor did the incisions because they constricted area was tight and making things painful. He said by making the incisions it would loosen it up and he thought it might raise up at least when it’s hard. What he and other doctors really failed to understand is that if it doesn’t look decent soft, not gonna be with someone with it hard. They’re not gonna go for that. I had one doctor tell me just to have sex in the dark and I thought that’s ridiculous.
So I’ve attached a picture or two and I am Wearing a shaft and Cock ring. The doctor has me on Cialis daily and Trimix several times a week. He also has my pumping 10 to 15 minutes a day and wearing a Zen hangar 20 minutes a day 5 pounds or 10 pounds. He didn’t think 10 was really great though. I don’t have a preference yet. He wants it hard a lot and stretched a lot so that I gained back some of the 2 inches I lost from the surgery. You can tell they didn’t get all the material/filler because it’s still kind of lumpy. Much longer than it was before the surgery. He says it might continue to settle down. We’re only 3 1/2 months out from surgery.
Still pretty discouraged because I can’t imagine anybody going for it if it stays exactly like this and I’m not sure yet about the surgery to do the degloving and skin graft. Someone else suggested just skin grafting that one area but he said there’s a risk of morning Necrosis between that and the head/glans

I totally realize it’s not gonna be perfect looking. If I do the surgery, I will lose lots of Girth and maybe more length According to the doctor, I saw in Fort Worth.

The other huge concern is that I’ve only been able to finish masturbating seven times since January. I’ve lost that much sensation, and when he and anesthetized me on Thursday, he finally understood what I meant about loss of sensation, because I did not feel the prick or the burning from the anesthetic as he told me to prepare for. And he then took a needle and went all over my penis, and the only places I felt it were three or four places out of the 20 or 30sticks.

The other thing that’s been so frustrating about this is lawyers don’t wanna touch this case because it has the word cosmetic in it. And in Texas you only get a $250,000 cap and one lawyer said they would spend 100,000 on research and expert witnesses etc. so it wasn’t worth her money and that I would get even less. The doctors office knows this so they’re just gonna ride it out and try to blame the other doctor. State compliant can take a year. So I’ve got six more months left on the complaint against the cosmetic doctor/Dellinger so they’re wanting to ride that one out to blame him for the surgeons error. And then if I file a complaint against the surgeon, they will not come back with any settlement until the state rules on that one too. They have the money to just wait me out. In the meantime I’m the one suffering. It tells me a lot about their character as a company/Urology Austin. And it’s not just them.

atxguy wrote: How y’all can defend but I find it unconscionable.

Please remember that we can only rely on the information you provide us, so why would you believe we're defending the unknown when imparting sincere advice? I embrace the roll of the Patient Representative & Educator on this Forum and work hard to provide guys like you the kind of platform (that otherwise wouldn't exist) to fix your penis problems. Do you expect me and others to sit around and tell us your erroneous & poor decision making has constituted grounds to call our Community feedback unconscionable?

So you saw Dr. Kansas last Thursday despite also saying that he acknowledged not knowing "what he was doing" prior to that (as the post history shows). Tell me, what should I to make of this? How do you "defend" continuing to see someone who has told you they don't understand your situation?

Then you talk about having masturbated seven times since January. Why in [insert your belief system / deity here] would you ever masturbate a penis in that condition, when it's clearly in need of recovery? Maybe once or twice to see if you needed to know for sanity's sake you could still get hard (this wouldn't be a justification, but at least relatable), but approaching double-digits in masturbation sessions, despite still being a few steps away from full recovery begs a lot of questions.

I know you're going through a lot and I genuinely wish you a speedy recovery, but if you aren't going to follow-through with the conventional wisdom of the Forum, your Doctor, or common sense, then you leave me scratching my head. You couldn't see the right experts due to logistics and I get that, it is what it is. Morganstern Urology / Dr. Carney was a recommendation provided through the only source of its kind (the PhalloBoards) and the only online source you were to get any qualitative & authentic information, but if that had not worked out, I would have happily tried to provide you alternatives that may have better aligned with your logistics. Ultimately you decided to wing it, and well, here we are today.

Look, I don't mean to be harsh or critical, but you strike me as someone who needs a reminder not to take this platform for granted, and not to take sincere comments from users who wish to help provide perspective, insight, or advice for granted either... because that would be "unconscionable." Just be mindful when posting is all I ask.

The constricted area has improved slightly after the procedure to help it expand (about 20 cauterized 'incisions'). I doubt that will increase much more but who knows. I'm wondering if Kenalog would reduce/eliminate the large lumps that are left. If those could be eliminated, it might actually be acceptable. I'd love to avoid degloving. ready for this to be done.

Interesting turn of events: Urology Austin where Dr. Kansas works has terminated me. They will provide me with 30 days of urgent care but the future surgery by one of their best docs (trained by Dr. Morey) will not do the surgery now. SO I have consults again with Dr. Hudak (also trained by Morey) and Dr. Mistry. Hudak is OON and hopefully they can do a single case agreement. He wants me in the hospital 5-7 days to ensure the graft stays in place, no infection, etc. He said he has 0% failure rate on grafts. Dr. Mistry is suggesting the same surgery but only overnight stay. He's local whereas Hudak is 3 hours away in Ft. Worth, Tx.
I have spoken with Dr. Carney's office and after looking at the latest pics, think that they could do a scar Revision procedure in the office and then inject filler to smooth things out. I'm afraid it will be too big again and too spongy. Did the spongy feeling go away for others?
I'll be SO glad when this saga is over. The termination today hit me really hard since they have had me wait 6 months (2 more to go...) and seemed on board to do it then suddenly dropped me/abandoned me. Patient abandonment is a serious thing. Waiting to hear back from the lawyer.

I'm sure others have considered legal recourse as well and it's such a horrible thing for guys like us. Most of us can't pay 75K up front and lawyers don't want to do a contingency since there's a max of 250K in texas. By the time they get expert witnesses (required to file here) etc, I'd get next to nothing after taxes and their hourly rates, etc. The system here is designed to protect everyone but the innocent.

Wow, that really sucks. I don’t think the situation is patient abandonment though because in their eyes, they have stabilized the situation with your penis. Further work is at the discretion of their practice. They probably felt that they could not please you as a patient and they probably felt threatened That you were seeking legal action against them. Therefore, they have every right to dismiss you from the practice and enable you to look elsewhere for treatment that being said, it’s a sucky situation. I personally do not know if adding more filler to try to even things out is a good option the plus side of doing a skin graft as you will know that all of the bad tissue has been removed and you will be able to heal the negative with skin graft is it does not move and slide like normal penis skin because it is lacking the Dartos fascia that it once had also skin grafts usually do not have sensation and they shrink up to 20%. However, a skin graft may leave you with a healthier situation than what you have now just please find someone that is board certified and has done many of these and has the experience to back it up.

I’m trying to understand your comment about graft shrinking up to 20%. Does that mean I’m going to lose 20% of my length?? I’ve already lost 2 inches which was 25% of my length and with the pumping and stretching I’ve gained almost an Inch of it back.
I hope I misunderstanding you with that 20% loss. The more I deal with this the less I wanna be alive.
