This is just a follow-up post 2 days before my 1st PMMA injections. I am quite concerned because it seems that in the past 2 weeks I\'ve retracted a full Inch in BPEL. I wonder if this is some strange form of \"Erect Turtling\" in anticipation of surgical intervention or if it might have something to do with the Girth thickening due to DHT cream stretching the tissues in width causing loss of length or if it might be due to the fairly high doses of Gonadotropin weekly injections?!? In any case it has me fairly alarmed as I was concerned at not having as much length as possible before getting PMMA and it now seems I have even less than before right before going in for treatment. Okay guys it\'s a done deal already. I flew into Las Vegas and waited hours for Payless Car Rental to produce my reserved car: not one in their lot. At 3am one turned in of a lower category but they didn\'t reduce the rate, take it or leave it style. Off to San Diego sleeping half an hour in a rest stop. Had a great breakfast at Peggy Sue\'s 50\'s diner in a ghost town in the Mohave desert and then a long drive all the way to the Tijuana border.
I checked in early to my hotel and the shuttle from Dr C\'s was on time, both drivers on the way in and the way out were extremely courteous and professional. This is a top notch operation. I got the scenic tour of Tijuana as my hotel was way inland on the other side of the city. No complaints as it was well worth the ride. Arriving at the medical building it was easy to find the office thanks to the driver\'s clear instructions.
Christian greeted me very kindly and had me fill in a number of forms. One of these was to document the procedure and I signed authorizations enabling extensive pictures of my procedure. I took a few prescribed French Lamaline pills after hearing SO\'s description of the stress involved and they helped relax me which gave me no regrets. Also I was given those two rubber Balls and its true you\'ve got to have Balls to go through with this process...
My worries were not at all of any physical pain for I felt next to none partly thanks to Dr C\'s excellent anesthesia and also due to his skill in the operation. Zobel Wade very aptly assisted him in a very dedicated way ensuring that all is done without fail as perfectly as possible. Of course Dr C is the master at this process and to him none can hold a candle. The procedure took a good deal of work on their behalf and required quite a lot of strategic choices on how to best operate. They certainly earn their fee.
I asked for nothing specific beyond an enhancement. I had planned on making some sort of Girth request but in their presence common sense prevailed: they know this procedure, I do not... they\'ve operated on countless penises in every shape and form and aside from my own I don\'t know Dick about dicks lol. So I gave them \"carte blanche\" to do as they deemed fit given my starting specs and what might be accomplished with their best techniques. I was rather amazed, even knowing it was just the swelling and fluid build-up, at the drastic change in my anatomical appearance.
I will ask them later for details on the concentration and amount of CC\'s used in my procedure as well as for a few pictures to post here. I didn\'t ask although I had planned to because I wanted to place myself without judgement in their expert hands. Whether the result is considerable or more modest I am convinced that this was the way for me to proceed. They really know what they\'re doing and it is smart to gain the benefit of their expertise without interfering with spurious demands.
I\'ll take a few snapshots of the result at the hotel to document the healing process too. Only two days of bandages and one week without sex, the later will probably be longer in my case. I expect that after the swelling goes down I\'ll return closer to my original Girth but expect some changes in several weeks time. I took loads of Arnica Montana homeopathic beads you let melt in your mouth to help prevent swelling. it did wonders in my second laser fraxel blast preventing my face from swelling up. Wade also told me that if I choose once the bandages are off I can use the 5% Arnica cream topically for the same purpose of preventing excess swelling, because I don\'t want to go in next Tuesday for that Doppler of the shaft with it all black and blue.

Thanks guys for the kind words. Actually I feel far more recovered since the intervention than ever before, I know that even if only a slight improvement (but we know Dr C and Wade do work their magic) what matters is that I\'ve taken matters in hand and done something positive about something which has been a cause of upset as far back as I can remember. I can almost understand why those who were early clients of Dr C dropped out of this forum - not that I plan to of course - because I feel like I\'m already ready to move on in my life without those psychological wounds from my past being such a hurtful issue. For this reason if none other it might be good to not go in with any specific size expectations, what matters is to enhance and in that way sort of take possession of your package making it more what you\'d want and removing yourself from the grips of fate which provoked painful mockery.
Let me account my two small experiences going about bandaged up. I only brought with me blue jeans in my travels so I have to wear them low to give my inflated and bandaged appendice room to dangle in one pant leg. Let us remember that I\'m notedly short so it isn\'t dropping down low anywhere like some pants cobra. However the bandage is thick adding about an extra half inch of girth to an already swollen organ.
Last night I went close to the University campus for dinner at a small Mexican food outlet El Zarape which only has a few tables and is mostly geared towards the student crowd. It was great food with a burrito filled with what tasted like large pieces of fresh lobster and the shrimp taco was exquisite and I\'m fairly sure these were fresh fished as they were moist and crunchy as frozen seafood cannot be with a -stopping divine marinade making this a meal one could never have in Paris.
During my meal a women in her late thirties but college style sat down in slacks that hugged the most stunning bottom, I wonder if she had it shaped by Dr C? Joking aside she was quite a fox and her guy crowded her behind the table and used his body to fence her in to keep others away from her, knowing a good thing when he had it. And rightly so as. when I got up to leave and passed by outside, she looked like she was ready to jump up and join me seeming quite taken. Now mind me I\'m no eyesore to look at but this is not customary. And while the last thing I do is check out guys\' crotche,s apparently some ladies do? If so, it sort of revolts me as to what the world has come to, for while she seemed to really care intently who I was, I wonder if I was just some guy on the other end of something she looked to for solace?
This morning at the breakfast room of the hotel I came across a far healthier reaction. The young woman I had seen doing vacuuming yesterday during check-in had been very sweet and gentle and respectful. This morning at 6am when the breakfast buffet was open I looked for a tray to take food to my room, as I wanted to avoid the constrictive clothing. So I went towards the kitchen to ask and she was the one there, recognizing me. She hurriedly came out to find me a tray and it was then that she appeared to change towards me. It isn\'t by any stretch anything I accept but it brought back memories of guys who were packing and liked to lord it over less endowed guys. As if it meant something as to who they are and this fellow seemed convinced that it made him the lesser man. He later gazed at me across the room with a worried almost panickly look and it was God awful that the shoe was on the other foot. I couldn\'t blurt out \"hey you\'re actually bigger than me, I just injected by Dr C\"... lol
So while much of this stuff may be all in our head I do think that there is some conscious or unconscious sense of virility attached by people to genitalia size or shape, and maybe that\'s also why folks react differently to women with opulent breasts as it speaks in an encoded language to the depths of our unconscious mind? Whatever it might be I\'d wager that phalloplasty responds not just to some individual quest for a larger healthier penis but possibly to a greater human urge to incarnate something of larger unconscious proportions. For I do think that some of this goes on at the unconscious level, for example that girl at the restaurant seemed almost as if she\'d fallen for me which isn\'t exactly how you\'d act if you consciously targeted some guy\'s crotch visually.
So even if it was only for a fleeting moment I can thank Wade and Dr C for giving me that instant of becoming, incarnating at last my secret personality being for at least one babe a Hunk Chunk at last. There is definitely an area of mystery to symbolic penile sexuality we would do well to investigate to make sure we don\'t go too crazy or overboard in pursuing the elusive goals of masculine virility.

Thanks guys for all the support. On my next motel stop in Arizona I\'ll try to post the few pictures I\'ve taken. I planned to take some during the procedure but was in no psychological condition to document anything. Fortunately I signed authorizations for Dr C to use my photos in scientific publications and his second assistant took loads of them allowing me to tune out and not pay attention too closely.
The procedure for me was entirely painless, only noticing the occasional effort exerted by Dr C to get things right, while Zobel Wade made sure that the PMMA was always perfect spread diligently monitoring for any potential inconsistencies. My procedure took longer than expected possibly due to my odd shape which is sloped downwards but only at the tip, and also possibly by virtue of having what they called a twisted \"corkscrew\" structure further complicating the channels of PMMA. They\'re the best so there\'s no worries there, but thanks to that configuration I think that it was well documented. I\'ll ask if they can provide me or SO with some of their pictures, since I felt nothing I chickened out and didn\'t even glance until it was done. They seemed quite satisfied with their job and with the result, so that does carry its promise.
One thing I didn\'t quite understand despite it being clearly explained is how to massage the shaft to ensure perfect PMMA distribution during the first two days. I also noticed that after unbandaging for an hour or so to bathe and give it a rest that it retracted quite a bit from its rather long Flaccid state in the bandage. So to properly spread the PMMA I imitated what Nurse Wade had done gently smoothing it regularly in wide strokes in the direction from the base to the tip. Zobel Wade hadn\'t wanted to bandage it too tightly in case of an increase in swelling but this morning I did make it a good bit tighter, planning on releasing the grip if it gets uncomfortable. Don\'t plan on wearing underwear for at least several days...
For comparison purposes only a few days ago I turtled like never before and must have retracted to may one Inch long in Flaccid?!? I wondered if it was due to fear of this procedure, to some odd reaction to DHT cream, to the unpredictable response to Pregnly Gonoadtropin shots that might have boosted Estrogen? My Erect length which was 5.5\" and thus shorter than in my younger days recently went below the 5\" mark maybe due to my mis-oriented and haphazard excessive efforts at chemical enhancement. Since Zobel Wade said I could I rubbed 5% Arnica cream on the black bruise marks on either side of the shaft to not freak out the Doppler technician next Tuesday when he does an echo scan of my shaft looking for neurological damage which caused me in my youth to go on all night without being able to come to orgasm. Yes, it hurt and was a mild form of Priapism which got me laughed over the office of a Urologist in Berkeley California mocking me about how I dared to complain...
I\'ve instantly gotten used to this thicker Girth and will sorely miss it when it disappears, hopefully for the collagen to kick in during the weeks ahead \'til the day I notice \"Hey, it\'s there!\" Meanwhile I\'ll try to take advantage of the temporary visual impact of those bandages to test any reactions to fire-hose dispositions. After all, the more ambitious ladies might think I\'m that size while Turtling lol. But all in all I\'ll bet there\'s some telepathic thing that goes on and they can tell you focused on your crotch rocket and sort of react to you that way due to certain body language cues and eye movements perhaps. Whatever... but it will be fun to check out reactions, if anyone knows of a bar with hot babes in Phoenix I can quickly grab a beer at I\'m game, even if it is clear one should avoid any risks of infection with no sex for at least a week - something I am in no way compelled to breach.

Did you take the alpha blocker before the procedure ?

I spoke with Wade today regarding the use of a stretcher, and it is no problem after the it has healed, but during the first 48 hours we can only use some device that only grabs the head. The only problem there is I dont know of any device that does that. The autoextender VacADS has a headpiece, but must stay on via a silicone sheath that with compress the shaft. If anyone know of a device that only grabs the glans please let us know. Im thinking that after the first round, one should not travel right away and stay in a hotel near Tj. And pull manually the glans and do massage. Also, get erections very often by watching porn or going into the rolodex in you mind and keep the penis a long as possible. Hey, its a pretty good excuse to watch some porn.

Thanks for the advice I\'ll try that. Funny but I instinctively used the thumb as it is wider and softer than one\'s finger tips. Also Wade said that the extender is OK but he didn\'t seem to thing it made a difference as long as you keep on the bandage for the first couple of days. He also taped my glans to the end of the bandage to prevent it from Turtling inside and retracting while the PMMA isn\'t settled yet.

I\'m sorry to not be able to reply yet to your question especially as I have not yet learned what quantity of PMMA or in what concentration was injected. My current swollen Girth including bandage is over 5 inches, but this is with swelling due to liquid buildup which has nothing to do with real size dimensions. I expect the swelling to go down soon, it already has some, possibly thanks to arnica pills and cream. And I\'m almost sad to see it lose its swollen status and to thin again at the waist... I will be patiently waiting for several weeks for the first collagen to appear and for some form of thickening to become lastingly in place.

Yes, I followed your advice and took the alpha blocker while awaiting the shuttle driver, my procedure started some two hours later. Thanks for the advice. I also took some prescription capsules containing caffeine, paracetamol and... opium powder which helped me cope with the psychological aspect of this procedure. I\'m not only okay with it now, but actually find it healthy to go forth with Phalloplasty.

They take forever to process your order and therefore I didn\'t get my VacADS which will remain until September on the ground next to my kitchen door. Ten days is not exactly customer responsive and I can\'t say I will shop again at that store. Regarding what extender only holds the glans, ask me: today I drove from San Diego to Scottsdale and for much of the time I steered with one hand tugging at the glans with the other during the ride. It also helps to be bandaged and I went to a pharmacy in Yuma to get some bandage tape to properly wrap it together efficiently. Once done while holding stretched to the max the glans, you will find that there shouldn\'t be any use for a mechanical extender. Wade did ask me if I pumped and I too quickly said no so he dropped the topic, I wonder if he was going to suggest I do or instead admonish me not to during some phase of the healing? Regarding porn I\'d wager that it is mostly useful to stretch it out before fitting the bandage. lol

Lastime; there is a silicone device that grabs the glans and then it hooks to your leg. I have been using it since I removed my implant. It seems to work for me and my Flaccid now is almost as big as when I had the implant. Check Ebay, of all places, for it. Call me if you wish.

Thanks for the kudos it\'s actually nothing big... pun intended of course. No big deal although I had a hard time when it came right down to it. I think that the greater one\'s hang up the harder it is to take it on in this way. Mine is not just due to size but for being somehow misshapen such as brought mockery and even made the task a lot harder for Nurse Wade and Dr C. So it is moving away from that typecast and identification which is all the more gripping as so much emotional baggage is attached. It is almost like shedding the painful memories, we are coached by society and its humiliation that we\'re stuck for life subject to something which cannot be changed so it is earthshaking to be able to reverse the situation, making such an intervention beyond simple aesthetics but one which is taking back power over one\'s life and identity.
I wish I\'d gone with eBay for that extender but since I had time constraints I chose to go with the manufacturer: my mistake. I cannot therefore recommend buying from them unless you really don\'t care when it gets there. I had planned to do this right and allowed plenty of time, what held it up was more than a week of \"order processing\" which means pulling it off a shelf and putting it in a box. Maybe they\'ve tied their own extenders to the cash register and can\'t reach the warehouse section of their trailer? lol
Regarding hotels I sort of chose the wrong one. I don\'t regret it because thanks to this I got a superb view of the back side of Tijuana which the tourists never see. It\'s only a mile from the border crossing directly into Tijuana but it\'s the wrong side of town to get to the offices of Dr C. My hotel wasn\'t an expensive one being a lot lower rates than the comparable late booking fees elsewhere in this high season, although it did cost me with the lowest prepaid rate and club membership some $150 for the night. For comparison purposes I am writing this from the same hotel chain in Scottsdale AZ in a room at $63 per night. I leave it to real estate costs and seasonal tourist rushes since loads of people must be flocking to San Diego in the depth of summer.
So my hotel was near the cargo airport and planted in the midst of an industrial park where you had to dodge the semi trailer trucks and had otherwise a very quiet night. The staff was very friendly and professional as can be, but its location is far from ideal geographically. It is about 15 miles from the city on its SouthEast outskirts, at the end of dead end roads which lead only to the Easterly border with Mexico, otherwise you need to head back West to the city to go North or East. There is a border crossing which is slightly less congested but as it has fewer rows and since ALL truck traffic is directed through there it can be blocked at times also. When we crossed into Mexico there were only two vehicles ahead of us and about as many checkpoints to get in. The Mexican border guard exchanged a few words with the driver, seeing I looked like a blond Gringo opened the van\'s tailgate to check for a crate of contraband weapons and waved us on. However in the other direction it was jammed up for about a mile, with all lanes blocked including the fast lane for commercial vehicles.
The return was done from the usual border passage and it was very different as the lanes were lined with countless vendors milling about on foot among the traffic proposing to bring to your car tacos and every other sort of merchandise. One man polished up the suburban which couldn\'t take the fast lane as it wasn\'t classified commercial. this allowed me to kick back in my seat once in the while using my bag on my knees to conceal a few gestures to loosen the constrictive hold of my slacks on the bandages. It took close to an hour which is less than my driver\'s record time of 6 hours delay on this spot the day they locked down the border: it was the day of ground zero...
So I\'d definitely keep your reservations and if I were a bit more swarthy and not waving blond hair like a Gringo flag I\'d want to stay on the Mexican side for sure. I really like the atmosphere there and although I\'d take precautions and venture places possibly in good company it would be quite nice to explore the city\'s ways, it isn\'t Nogales being a large community of over two million souls even if both stimulated and discombubelated by border activity. I\'m sure you\'ll be better located at the Marriott.
