| A topic named "Unhappy" written by a gentleman with an 8" x 7"+ ... no offense (seriously, none intended), but this is not the kind of platform I was hoping the PhalloBoards to be. I'm not judging those who want to get giant dicks (I'm not in their shoes, and I don't know everyone's motivations), but I am writing this for a broader perspective to those who might be seeing this for the first time. I say this respectfully, but girth is as accessible & instant like never before, and what was once considered elusive (6 inches circumference) is practically treated like "meh" around here, and 7incher+'s can become addictively hard to avoid, especially if you have the kinds of lengths to accommodate it. That is to say, we ought to be more mindful when setting realistic expectations and try sticking to them. There is a line at which, when crossed, will INEVITABLY have aesthetic issues, regardless of how minor or major, and regardless of Injector. Sure they can be touched up, but that's just additional hassle, time, and cost. I say this to say it as a Public Announcement (and not directly to, or a knock, on the original poster atxguy65) --> Consider your starting size when setting goals, be sure your goals are realistic, and STICK to these goals (with any subsequent visits meant strictly for small touch-ups). Pardon this crude allegory but it's like going to a Since you've chosen not to bash anyone in particular, nor have you made any outlandish claims, you're not obliged to release your Doctor's name. That said, I do take exception to the idea that this forum actively bashes quality & ethical practitioners. If anyone's bashed around here, they often times deserve it on the basis of years & sample sizes of poor work. Nevertheless, good luck with your nodules and revisions @atxguy65 , you'll at least find this site helpful in that regard. |

I might, respectfully, recommend you reach out to a therapist who can help you with the issues that you have. Because no matter how “respectfully “tried to write your message, it’s still pretty condescending and a very polite way to bash people. Because my goals are different than yours, should not matter to you or anyone else. And honestly, if you Look at other posts regarding nodules, etc. their results are between five and 6 inches and still happen. So your argument about the excessive size your concerned about is irrelevant and untrue. It’s people like you that make me damn resistant to sharing professionals name. You’ll write some flowery missive claiming to educate people while defaming others. Good luck.

Writing a public announcement telling men to be mindful about excessive gains that are so easily attainable is my responsibility. I'm not a regular member here, my contributions are a bit different in nature. Within the context of this thread, it was about how going very big is going to increase one's propensity for things like nodules (as a PUBLIC NOTICE TO ALL READERS). I can choose to take any discussion to impart what I believe is a healthy reminder to the readership as a whole; that is within my purview and within my self-imposed duty as the PhalloBoards Administrator, no need to take it personal. I never suggested I condemned, judged, or criticized you specifically. Perhaps "scratching my head" regarding the topic's title choice was slightly insensitive on my part (maybe?), but I'm sure we all have thick skin here, pun both intended & unintended -- and didn't think it was out-of-pocket. I stand by my original comments. It was meant to be a general public announcement and not any sort of condemnation of you; in fact, I even remarked on using this site as a source for Nodule correction. Take care. |

I don’t think it’s your obligation to do a public service announcement. that actually sounds pretty arrogant. The only people who really have that kind of obligation would be a doctor and my understanding the general forums don’t have doctors replying. They have their own area. So you really kind of fall into that area of people I specifically did not want to reply or to get involved for this reason. this is a good time to mind your own business and if you can’t offer suggestions or advice related to my specific question, then please accept the conversation. If you feel so obligated, create your own thread, but for now, please just move on. Your comments are not welcome on MY thread.

I've been doing that (public commentary on this platform) for nearly 15 years now, and I'm supposed to stop & "mind my business" now because I made you upset? The same 8x7 guy who says he's unhappy but tells me I should see a therapist? LOL alright buddy. My moderating this discussion is how this topic & scene has come along this far. Prior to the PhalloBoards, the Internet was littered with unscrupulous doctors who employed questionable methodologies. Without this site you wouldn't even know where to begin to find help. I spent the vast majority of PhalloBoards 1.0 & PhalloBoards 2.0 (which was in effect from 2010-2020 if memory serves me correctly) working voluntarily without Sponsors, so why wouldn't I take my role here seriously? ... food for thought. Like many platforms that discuss serious topics, it's part of my responsibility to keep things grounded, or else this place would be a madhouse. There are plenty of other 7" and 8" threads I don't chime in on because, for better or worse, it's not really my business in the end. However, when I see a topic named "Unhappy," I was having flashbacks to a bygone era when opening such a thread would entail serious infections, protrusion of implants through the skin, impotence, nerve damage, necrosis, permanent shortening, and broken marriages. So I felt compelled to say something for perspective's sake. Could I have created a separate topic for it? Sure, but I thought the context here was perfect, because ultimately there was no criticism of you getting a 7"+ girth, but rather showing much of the Readership (the vast majority of which never post) that the allure of extreme sizes can have real consequences. I've been down this road before many times before and I have no qualms about my overall message, especially given the context of it all. For those who think this is an overreaction (which I personally don't believe it is on my part), just be reminded how much of a life changing decision this has been for you, or WILL be for you -- serious topics sometimes warrant serious discussions, even if it isn't always comfortable. Atxguy65, first you come here writing "I’ve seen way too much bashing of docs on here and products," effectively trashing the very site you expect assistance from with no basis or citation. The fact is that when patients do come to this site from unpopular Doctors, the Community has always been very supportive. So why the shade? And if it was from a popular Doctor, then I personally would try my best to reach out to see what perhaps I can do (if anything). Then you tell me to get therapy, and now I'm being told I'm arrogant and to mind my own business -- all this despite me having no personal issue with you (??). Well I hate to remind you, but "your" thread is on "my" site, and unfortunately your attitude and sensitivities are not compatible here, especially after I've been trying to be reasonable. I really do hope you find some help with your nodules, be it here or anywhere that provides you the guidance you need. Otherwise, adios. The following user(s) said Thank You: Dream |
