Hi all.

So an update.now 4 years since I had one round of 30%@15ml of PMMA I think as time has past the PMMA has got a harder and lumpier. Attached are pics showing Erect, Flaccid and Erect with Foreskin pulled back showing a hard lump. You can see that there is lumps. Also overall I gained about 0.25 Inch in Girth. Not much and probably not worth the aesthetics sacrifice. When forskin pulled back there is s noticable lumps. I get asked by partners why is it hard there too. I think because of being uncut with lose forskin I was probably the worst candidate for this procedure. The Foreskin has got thicker and seems to have contracted since the procedure too.

On the plus it unexpectedly added Flaccid length. I dont think this is to do with weight but more the fact the PMMA attaches to the skin which prevents contraction as the PMMA cant roll over itself. Also the lump rubbing against your penis during sex or wanking feels good IMO.

Thinking of getting the lump removed but understand that it is risky and could end up with more problems so will not act now.

Thanks for sharing. Have you considered going back for a touch up / smoothing out session? They are often essential for getting a "finished" look and could help make the lump less noticable.

No. There is an expression here to do with gambling . "Don't chase your losses". It means if you lose money on a bet don't try and win it back by betting more. That is how I feel about getting more. I am not suited to it and infact I am glad I stopped after one round as it could have been worse.

I honestly dont buy into that smooth finishing. I think after each round your penis swells giving it the impression of being smooth. But eventually the swelling goes. Sometimes it can take months. My swelling took months to go. Initially it did not feel bad apart from one spot. But as the months went by it came apparent there was one clump of the material attached to the penis skin running from mid shaft to close to the base. Then you left with even more hard material attached to your penis skin. What do you then? Go for more "smoothing"

The tide may cover the rocks when in, but when the tide goes out the rocks will appear.

Getting a touch up is a fundamental part of the PMMA process. It's not like "chasing a loss." It is in fact the exact opposite: the reason touch ups are recommended is because imperfections like you have are common. The touch up / smooting procedure was developed precisely because of results like you experienced. What you did was like going and getting the lining and shade work done on a tattoo and never going back for the color.

Also, if the effect of a touch up was merely a temporary illusion due to swelling, I am confident that many of the guys here would have noticed.

Touch-ups do and have corrected aesthetic irregularities. It isn't necessarily about adding more product, but rather, "breaking up" clumps and smoothing out problem areas. PMMA, Ellanse, and Radiesse are dermal fillers, and to some extent, collagen production has a slight unpredictability to it, making touch-ups (an almost) inevitable part of the process.

Yes. I went with dr N. I dont even think she offers any smoothing products. Tho I have herd she does try and break clumps with a kenlog shot.

Given how I did not react well to it my own intuition says dont get more in. It is not a procedure for guys with uncut and lose skin. When I pull back Foreskin there is a lump. If there is more product attached to the skin how can that clump not get bigger.

I forgot about the Dr. N 30% PMMA factor + uncircumcised unit; that can potentially have problems, usually in aesthetics. This is why Avanti Derma is reluctant to administer permanent dermal fillers with uncircumcised patients; HA is probably much better in that regard.

I rarely post but was going to leave a lengthy post about how incorrect this statement was. Luckily, others have beat me to it.

Have you thought of possibly getting a Circumcision and then getting more added to smooth you out?

No, not willing to lose Foreskin.

For further detail. Attached are pics highlighted in red where the PMMA clump is when Erect, Flaccid and when forskin pulled back. Apart from this area the rest of the penis feels normal. However the part in red feels harder. As someone describes it feels like hard chewing gum attached to the shaft skin. As I have lose skin this whole clump can be pulled away with the skin from the shaft. I can nearly join my fingers underneath this clump when I have pulled skin away. I think Dr N one injection site approach might also contribute to clumping.

Are you planning on living with it for the rest of your life?

Well I certainly can live with it. It does not depress me or that. I have thought about getting the PMMA removed. But I have to take into account Hoddle who advises against it and has a lot of knowledge on the subject. It could always end up worse. It is another risk going for Removal. Nothing is guaranteed.

I will probably wait untill a doctor gets a lot of experience and a good reputation on removing PMMA. I dont think there is a doctor yet that fits that description but anyone who knows differently please advise. Untill then I will hold tight.

There is no point in removing it if you've at least acquired Girth from it. The ridges probably enhance sensation. As for aesthetics, I'd rather travel to get it revised than to get it removed. Removal should be a last option, and honestly, only when complications are dire (which in your case, does not apply).

I'm with SO on this. While it is a bit lumpy, I would live with it if it were me. Or go to Avanti and get some touch up work done, though i get why you don't want to do that.

Yeah man, contact Dr. C, do a consultation, and listen to what he says he can do. This doesn't mean you have to go for it, of course, but he may be able to give some more info on the touch up procedure that could help you make a decision.
