Most good physicians know that Ligamentolysis is highly unlikely to offer the kind of results the patient anticipates. You never see a post operative photo of gained Erect length due to the fact that it takes months of dedicated traction to gain Erect length. Flaccid length is evident immediately post op. Even with traction, results are generally lackluster with the average Erect gain of .25\" - 1.0\". Some will gain zero length even with traction. Traction by mechanical means is safer by far than manual PE (I\'m not going to cover this topic again). In either case, supervision by a qualified and experienced Urologist is recommended by Miracle7 in order to obtain optimum results and reduce the likelihood of self inflicted injury by over stretching the neurovascular bundle or dorsal nerve which can lead to permanent erectile dysfunction.
I\'ve not come across a single
Urologist that does anything other than recommend post op wearing of a traction device. None as far as I know offer medical supervision, not even Gary Alter (who is the only US based surgeon I\'ve come across that does, as you say warn results are unlikley to satisfy) . If you take the UGRS guys, for example, they make the same point as you, that one shouldn\'t do these things on your own, but rather under their supervision and with a medical standard device. Then once you\'ve paid them the money they give you a Jes Extender (yes the dreaded noose!) and tell you to follow the instructions. The Sava Perovic team do the exact same thing, only with the Andro Extender. I think Giunta does the same, but with a different type of extender. Gary Alter used to recommend
Hanging weights and then told a friend of mine all he really needs to do is wear an extender for 12 hours per day. On a British TV docunetary Dr Reed was seen advising a patient to wear the Grip, but again he just followed the instructions provided. Most surgeons seem to recommend 6 months of post op stretching, which is again in line with what is recommended by the manufacturors for those who haven\'t had surgery.
The point I\'m really trying to make, is that there is no evidence that lig cutting aids
Erect length gains, yet I\'ve only come across a couple of PE surgeons who acknowledge this. I\'ve seen numerous photo\'s of before and after
BPEL gains via extenders etc, but never seen anyone post them following surgery, to show that the lig cutting gives an advantage. If a guy is after
Flaccid gains, then fine, but surely we need to see some evidence that there is a benefit for
Erect gains before people pay thousands of dollars. A guy can spend years
Jelqing, pumping and
Clamping and will be lucky to see any permanent
Girth gains. Yet we have so much photographic evidence that a guy can spend an hour with Dr C and make huge
Girth gains. But where length is concerned, it seems the same level of dedication is needed post op, to get similar gains to those who haven\'t had the surgery.
