I am 9 wks post implant and doing fine. Why would you remove this implant one week out. People routinely get buyers remorse with plastic surgery a week or two after done, when things are still healing. The painful erections at night get better. What are you experiencing that is making you doubt implant??

JohnLe

I am just a regular guy happily married for 20 years. My wife was against me getting the impant and not just because we could barely afford it. But I had alsways had a 6 Inch penis and wanted more. I saw the article in Mens Health about Dr. Elist and could not believe my luck!
Still I searched the internet for reviews and only found ones that seem to come from Google. All said good things about Dr. Elist. I did not find this site before I had procedure though.

My wife and I flew all the way across the country to Dr. Elist. When I got there everything seemed as presented except the drain I had to wear. I found that out just before surgery. Everything went fine with the surgery. I was more sore than told but I was still able to walk after the first day. After I had the drain out I came home with much excitement. AS you know Dr.Elist wants you to follow his post-op directions to the letter which I did. I had absolutely no complications except the nocturnal pain was MUCH worse than described and after 6 weeks waiting period I was most anxious to start back having sex with my wife.

Right from the start I was very aware of the 2 Inch lose in length and the numbness. I also was unable to have a climax with my wife. Of course I tried masturbating but that didn\'t work either. The numbness was preventing me from enjoying my wife or taking care of myself. I talked to Dr. Elist and he assured me not to worry. Both size and numbness would go away. I particularly questioned him about the size since I was going for extra length not less. He said not to worry.
After 4 months with no change my wife started complaining about the sharp edges at the top of my penis. I talked to Dr. Elist and he said not to worry. It was just the implant and he asked me if it went away when I was Erect. I said mostly but it was very noticeable otherwise. He said he could shave it down if I wanted him to. I put that off since I was on the East coast. My wife wanted me ask him about the stiffness and unreal feel it had to it. He said not to worry in time scare tissue would cover it and it would be normal.

In 2 more months I called Dr. Elist and told him my numbness and length had not changed as he told me it would. He said maybe it needed adjusting and could I come back for him to examine. Since my wife was very unhappy with the whole thing and I had only managed to have 2 orgasm through masturbation I went back.

By the time I got there I had decided to have it removed. It felt like a dildo inside me and a local Urologist who had never heard about this and didn\'t think it a good idea told me I may never get my feeling back. Dr. Elist didn\'t question me getting it removed. I thought that odd but I wanted it out. He charged me $2500 and I went through the same procedure as before with the drain.

It has been a year since Removal. Currently I still have no feeling in 75% of my penis and I am 1.5 inches shorter. I also have a nice big scar that was suppose to only be 1 Inch. I have called Dr. Elist every 2 months to tell him of my lack of progress. He assures me not to worry that the length will come back and the numbness as well. I still can\'t have a climax with my wife. I am able with great concentration and an hours work to have one through masturbation. One time I did it in 45 minutes.

The guys in the forum who have been through it are GREAT! They are a great support group and if I had found this first I wouldn\'t be in the shape I am in now. I have not found one thing that was not spot on in the forum.

I only found it after I had it taken out. If I had found it sooner I would have had it removed sooner because I think the longer it is in the worse your chances of getting back to normal are. I only wish I had left well enough alone.

We all have to make our own decisions and I wish you the best of luck.

Out of the dozens of implant recipients I know of...you are one of the only ones that says he would do it again..And you are the only one that has actually posted a picture of a face to prove he is not a shill....That face picture was a first for us actually...And we've seen it all...
The implant has injured and mutilated countless penises, destroying men's lives....The version of his implant has absolutely nothing to do with it. It is a piece of hastily cut out silicone being placed in a dynamic organ. It doesn't work.
Anybody reading this account...please take the time to do a search of the countless horror stories on this board of men who have had their lives forever changed (for the worse) because they trusted this doctor

Face on photo doesn\'t exonerate you being like a shill. And faces are against forum rules. Read-up before posting again.

I can\'t prove you\'re a shill, which is why I haven\'t banned you. But let\'s face it. There are very limited resources when it comes to researching legit info regarding Dr. E and his obsolete procedure. And this forum is unparalleled in authentic Elist-patient testimony and accounts.

I would advise anyone who recently got the implant to not judge anything until at least 9 months to a year. The stitches took 8 to 9 months to release so you get a better picture of what you can expect at that point. I am disappointed that I haven\'t had any real Erect length gain....his website says it can take a year and s half or more to see that so I still have hope. I am happy with the Flaccid look and 7 Inch Girth. I don\'t have much feeling on the top part of my penis but I have no problem enjoying sex. My Erect penis is harder than before and the feeling a little more intense. I received the newest version of the implant. I think the people who had real issues had the surgery with the older version. Bottom line is if you recently had the surgery, don\'t freak out. Give it time to heal. I had about 1.5 loss in Erect length initially but that came back over time as the Sutures released. The surgery isn\'t perfect but I would do it again knowing what I have experienced

You are correct... This was not my only source of information.

I had the surgery a year ago. I am back to pre surgery length and hoping for more. Girth is 7 inches. Flaccid looks great...4.5 to 4.75. Not shy changing at the gym Overall I\'m satisfied

Hi JohnLe,

I had the implant a week or so before you. I\'ve followed several of these forums for a while and did a lot of research. Let\'s compare notes. I\'m not so interested in doing it publicly since so many on here are anti-Elist. I agree there are several horror stories on here, but I would be willing to bet there are a lot more successes that don\'t have reason to seek out these boards to complain. Feel free to message me if you\'d like to stay in touch. I\'ve been relatively pleased with my progress so far. It\'s an invasive surgery so I\'m expecting some recovery time.

JohnLe-

I am sorry to hear that you fell victim to Elist. I take it you just got hooked in by his marketing and didn\'t really research prior to going under the knife. I\'d say that you are right be be nervous and have second thoughts. Certainly not meaning to scare you, but just agreeing with you.

At one week, you are early enough in that you probably wouldn\'t be seeing the negatives, except for the immediate post surgery retraction, swelling and painful nocturnal erections. There are several guys on here who have had the Elist implant and have subsequently had it removed.

Honestly, if I were you, I would make plans on having it removed. Do a search and read some of the posts by guys who have been in your shoes. There are other sites with information like this, too.
Just know that regardless of your decision, this is a place where you can come to for support.

As far as I know, there are very people who are happy with their Elist implant, if any. You\'re advised to really do your research on this site before posting questions. There are answers to your questions if you do some research. I will say this, to my knowledge, everybody who gets the Elist implant have it removed sooner or later. There\'s usually a buildup of scar tissue which makes your penis shorter. The reports vary on the success in gaining the length back after removing the implant. Spend a couple of days researching other Elist patient\'s stories and if you still have questions after that, I\'m sure someone here can give you advice. I\'d like to hear that your implant experience is a success, but the odds are against you. Good luck.
