TOPIC: PMMA: swelling after sex

The swelling just makes me a little thicker. It does not affect my Erection nor does it feel softer. If I have sex 2 days in a row my partner notices I am thicker on the second day. It does not hurt.

I think swelling is fluid that is releases form the cells as they get irritated, It is just an initial bodily defense mechanism.
In this particular PMMA case, normally it should not be an issue.

I too had some pain but it certainly caused slightly more Girth and it wasn\'t soft, it just felt regular but bigger. The pain for me was mostly near the glans and at the base. This was only if I had sex daily or twice a day. I\'d rest for a day to 2 days Max and it was back to normal.

PMMA\'ed areas do retain fluid longer than normal body parts. When I pump, the more heavily PMMA\'ed areas stay engorged for much longer than areas with less and areas with little or none.

Swelling may not sound serious, but it can be. I\'m not privy to what kind of long-term impact ongoing swelling can have on the body. I do know that this type of swelling would be considered \"inflammatory.\" Here\'s something I found online:

Would be interesting to hear an unbiased physician\'s take on the aforementioned. I remember reading about a member here that had some kind of chronic swelling issue of an immune-related nature.

I haven\'t had too many issues with swelling. I used it for an hour and a half the other night. No issues the next day, except a sore wife

It does hold a pump longer though. If I pump in the morning, it\'ll still be noticeable around dinner time.

I believe that this is the most dangerous thing about PMMA and it fearing that more than unregularities or other thinks.
When you get the inflammation and swelling that can only end bad on the long term, particularly guys who are using their dicks a lot

If anything, swelling post sex would be considered acute, not chronic.
Acute swelling is not an indicator or precursor to cancer.

Given that the swelling seems to take hold for longer durations, and that it seems to be an ongoing issue for many who have had the procedure, I\'m not sure I would agree.

I am simply using the medical definitions of the two. Given that, swelling post sex falls into the acute, not chronic category. That\'s all I was saying.

for the guys with PMMA. is the swelling red? Is it swelling like the body is fighting something? or is it more edema?

I wonder about the mass monsters (look up rich piana) who have hundreds of CC\'s of PMMA in their biceps, triceps and delts.. These guys still lift weights and use their arms every day. I wonder if they are getting inflammation every time they work out.... hmm.

Or i wonder if its just a penis thing.

I see your point, Briceb. However, my concern is that writings suggest that repeat acute swelling, which is certainly evident with PMMA, can turn into a chronic situation.

Do we have any doctor members that would like to weigh in on this?
