Here\'s some more. What do you think? If it seems crazy I did it myself, it\'s just because I have all the sterile equipment and epi and lidocaine. I used to do animal surgery that was actually fairly similar (except we used staples & my suture ss are pathetic - though I could practice a little & probably do just fine). One of my nastiest, deepest incisions healed GREAT just with steri strips. The other ones reacted to the suture material and seem to be delayed or just very atrophic (like an ice pick acne scar). I hope it fills in like yours did. I know this is all early, but since it\'s been going on since March 24 - it\'s making me nuts.

This bottom right one was the biggest mistake since my entry point Nodule here wasn\'t that bad...and the stitch reaction and scar are much worse (at least now at 3 weeks ). Maybe in a few months it will flatten...

Sorry to hear about your continued struggles. I know moving can be very stressful. Would it be possible to postpone until you have recovered further. Mental unrest can undermine the tissue healing response more than you might think. If not, it may not be a bad idea to speak with a counselor or support group. Best of luck.

Wow, that\'s crazy. I have no idea who it is.

The pic I was talking about was from one of the journal articles posted here where the whole penis basically rotted off because PMMA was injected in a blood vessel.

Anyway, I was posting now because I was seeing the Dermatologist again. He put some silver nitrate on that spot...not sure why...I think it breaks down the excess tissue so healthier tissue can grow.

- For the ridges caused by the Sutures - if these don\'t go away he commonly treats them with Kenalog
- For the dents - if this doesn\'t improve, he treats the area with TCA which flattens the neighboring skin and also stimulates collagen in the dent. It can also be fixed with some needling procedure
- For the suture holes and tracks - he thinks those should fade

Nothing to do for a month though anyway. If I was degloved, I wonder if my surgeon would\'ve taken it all out or just cut the hard parts out. Maybe that would have been better than this piecemeal approach.

*Oh I should add the derm said it will NOT spread. That\'s bacterial-related Necrosis...or situations where it gets in blood vessels (which has to be directly injected) as we\'ve seen in some journal article pics.

I thought everyone already knew about this!

Basically we had a member who was from the UK and had surgery in the US. I advised him against this the surgery but he did it anyway. He ended up with pretty severe complications, but was updating a blog he was running regularly, as well as having a thread here. We\'d also exchanged a few emails, as I was trying advise him. One day he just stopped updating. In his final post he showed photos and his penis looked like and absolute mess. After about 2 weeks of not updating his blog I began to get worried about him, as I thought the mental trauma might have caused him to do something stupid.

I knew his name as it was in his email address. So i googled him and someone with that name and age had been arrested for murder. Obviously though the UK isn\'t a big country, it could still have been a coincidence. So I googled his email address and it took me to his company website, which was located on the same street as the murderer.

A year later the court case happened and the fact he\'d been driven mad by a failed penis enlargement surgery was part of his defense!

I am sure I am not the only one wondering if he murdered the doctor who performed the failed Phalloplasty surgery ?

Yeah... for sure this is a problem. I was never ocd about my Dick before 2010 when peyronies started. Then, it grew slowly but never to the point I wanted 7\" of Girth or something...it was mostly about getting back what I had. Unfortunately, this period has been dragging on since march 27....after already starting in 2010. At least it is very confined to one spot...but the uncertainty of how it will heal, if it will heal, if it will spread is making me very anxious. I can take my own vicodin...and that\'s a good idea - I might take it tomorrow. The problem is that cymbalta (which I am on) blunts the effects of everything, it seems. Soma is another seriously relaxing drug, but it stopped working when I started cymbalta. I asked for more benzos...they gave me more cymbalta...which continues to not do anything.

one of our members murdered someone during the stress of recovery from Necrosis

Holy shit...did he have the Necrosis like in those pictures where the whole penis is rotting off? Mine is about 1 cm x 0.5 cm....and the other spots are raised. So, it\'s annoying that I have (now) raised areas on the skin when before i had lumps under the skin. I guess they should go away... but I just feel like I never should\'ve been in this position. Whatever I did in a past life to get peyronies at such a young age & then be one of the few people on this board with complications on top of it... i\'d love to know...oh and then...getting it fixed in the usa (for $1200 so far) hasn\'t worked either! I keep saying to myself \"you\'ll be normal by june\" and \"you\'ll be normal by july\" and now it\'s \"maybe august...or the fall...\"

Not sure which pictures you mean, but his skin was dying. The photos are on here in his progress report, but I\'m not sure it\'s ethical to point out which member it was, as it\'s then very easy to find out who he was. Though I doubt it will be a big deal to him as he\'s in prison for 20 years!

I\'ve been going through what you are describing since 1997. I\'ve literally lost count of the amount of procedures I\'ve had to try and fix things. I\'ve pretty much only got one option left and it scares the hell out of me as it\'s an invasive surgery with grafts. So many of my surgeries have ended is disappointment and often deformity, that it seems crazy to consider another, as I don\'t think my penis would hold up to more complications. But on the other hand I can\'t leave things as they are. I keep saying to myself \"by this time next year this will all be behind you,\" but at the same time can\'t go through with booking the surgery as I\'ve got a terrible feeling about it! Mentally it\'s a nightmare.

Oh, moving is a separate issue. I hate it regardless. I am up to box #20...it just sucks. There\'s no way around it. And, I don\'t think the new place is that great. It has a weird floor plan that makes it look big - but when I actually measured, it\'s a lot smaller than my place...about 20% smaller. And it smells. I thought it was the tenant, but he moved out and it was cleaned - and it still smells like someone\'s body odor or mold.

I\'m actually ok with the way 2 of the scars turned out...including one that I did on the lower left. I was just trying to show a comparison. The one that won\'t heal is just concerning me the most (with the yellow tissue inside). The others will probably flatten out more or fill in - i just don\'t know...but it sounds like they will.

Yes, that\'s the trouble with these things, it\'s hard to get them prescribed at all, let alone at a decent dose.

When I had Necrosis after one of my surgeries, I felt like the world was about to end. I found my own source and self dosed Oxies. 40-60 mg a day and I felt like I didn\'t have a care in the world. I slept like a baby and was ultra productive and sociable. Yet had I not had the Oxies, I dread to think what I might have done. I understand why the medical community is so against prescribing such habit forming medication, but in my case I can\'t see how any Dr could argue it wasn\'t worth the risk.

For a guy who is already obsessional about his deformed penis, to see it literally rotting off is about as bad as things can get mentally. It\'s the same as an anorexics seeing themselves put on pounds of fat by the hour. I\'ve mentioned before that one of our members murdered someone during the stress of recovery from Necrosis. I\'d day it\'s close to 100% certain that had he been given a strong dose of a benzo or even Oxies, his victim would still be alive and he and his families lives wouldn\'t have been ruined.

Your scars don\'t even look like warts - they tend to be around that base of the shaft and the Balls, and not linear - plus the skin is usually denser and harder in those areas. I never would of thought of warts looking at your scars - 95% of which I am sure will be gone in 6-8 months, I would not stress waiting for that to happen, you won\'t be getting any of that tie back and they will heal in spite of worrying about it.

lol a biter. I have these scars in a line on each side, so if someone thought they were warts i could just say I had surgery through small incisions like laproscopic surgery of sorts. What do you think of that? At least that\'s my thinking for now - before 2 years. I could also say a piercing but do guys get piercings in the shaft? I\'ll have to see how they look in a month or so. These are early pics (3-5 weeks) so I think it\'ll improve. My deglove scar is virtually invisible after 12 mos. But, there was no Removal of any tissue or anything.

I can\'t postpone my move because of lease end and lease start dates. I\'d give anything for someone to help me finish packing and bring some things over to the new place...It\'s so much work. My friends are all busy busy busy. I haven\'t moved in 3 years - mostly cuz I hate it so much. I never really liked my apt that much, but once I was here I didn\'t feel like moving. I don\'t even think I like the new place that much...but this place is getting insanely priced.

Yeah good point - I have had multiple piercings that I completely forgot about as there are no more scars to show for it. I even fell through a plate glass table many years ago had 60 stitches in my face and they have also disappeared.

By the way, it sounds like you are having a major stress response which makes sense if you are moving. If someone asks about your scars tell them that your ex was a biter so you dumped him. \"Long story, I\'ll tell you later..\" I use that line on everybody for all sorts of Dick issues.

Restoration those scars remind me of past piercing, a few gals thought i had laser treatments to remove warts, i had to show them past photos to convince otherwise. Now you can\'t even tell i had any alterations, it took me about 2 years before the scaring was absent to minimal. You might have to wait that long, dim the lights, put on a condom and no one will know the difference, or dim the lights and let her suck suck. Unless she\'s a sexpert she\'ll ask whats up with your penis? Your response can be:
