Yeah we will see. After a year you or someone like you will say 'we shall see in 2 years'. The goal post will move as time goes on. I think it's very clear no matter the results of other patients there are some here that will plug their ears and hum rather than listen. It would be interesting to see someone start a thread of Implant failures. Post their failed implant pictures where anyone could see them (not just members). I posted my before and after pictures that way. Due to being called a shill for the Dr. That way we could actually see who has had a failed implant. That way we could actually be certain some people posting on here aren't using multiple accounts to do so. Just a thought for you guys. |

| Herman Da German: These guys are truly being honest on here. I have done tons of research and even spoke to a few people who did think the implant was going to work out at first. I agree, some of the guys can be quite angry and rude and that\'s because they are really angry with Elist and his office staff. I understand their anger because the staff are not being honest with the high percentage of men that are having problems a few months to a year or two later. Usually within the first 15 months things begin to go south. I agree, the implant can look really good in clothing (but so can a well placed sock for that matter) and when standing up, it looks real, for sure. However, after a few months, No matter how much I had to shape it with my hands and turbogrip, the implant developed the weird protrusions and the center seam started to be visible through the skin. The best way I can describe it is that it looked like I had a shrimp (as in shrimp cocktail) under my shaft skin. I was very self-conscious of it and I would no longer get naked. In the beginning, I did a few times because I would just jump in the water, dry off, and put on shorts. At the gym, it was fine. After the protrusions started to happen, the seam became visible once all the penis swelling went away after months, and when the massage therapist noticed that my Cock was weird, I knew I had to get it out. He sews a patch near the head of the penis is what I was told by the doctor who removed mine (at 9 and 3 O\'clock) which holds the implant in place near the top. Thus, the top part of the implant starts to stick out over time after all the expanding and contracting that Skeptical One is talking about with the penis. Unlike boobs, the penis is always changing shapes, sizes, getting hard, soft, etc. After sitting down and getting into regular life, the implant just starts to bend accordingly because it does not soften as the staff tell you that it will. It actually looks like a foreign object in your penis and it will feel increasingly weird to the touch. I could put my fingers under each side of it and feel my penis underneath it. When it was hard, it was least noticable. However, masturbation becomes difficult and you have to learn new ways to hit the right nerves. Once the protrusions started to rub against the patch on that was sewn by the head of the penis to hold the implant in place, I stopped masturbating and having sex because it simply hurt. Also, I was afraid that the left side was going to come right through the skin eventually. The doctor who removed it said that it would have done so in a couple months likely. I was already getting redness there and I had to be careful how I adjusted myself during the day. The irony was that I thought it would be cool to have a bigger Dick - who wouldn\'t - which is why we trusted this guy and his staff. In the end, I was less likely to get naked around anyone after I had the implant. At least I was comfortable with my Erect length and could get hard during a massage, sex, etc. After the implant, I stopped all activities eventually and could not wait to get that thing out of my body. As the guys state, you really don\'t see much bashing about anything else. This implant has had so many unsuccessful stories and it is such a sensitive topic to discuss. I am lucky and got mine out early. I am using weights to stretch out my penis because the scar tissue that did happen as a result of the implant was removed. I do have my original penis back and a bit shorter but I can tell that I will get it back to the original shape in a few months of healing post Removal. Also, I may have been lucky and gained a bit of Girth because the implant was in there for a total of ten months. We shall see in time. I am bummed about the scar of course. I don\'t grow enough pubic hair to cover it completely so it is visible. I am honestly on here to just help other guys now. I wish I had really seen all of this before I had mine done. I too just believed all of the popular magazines, staff members, doctor, etc. There really is a major medical complaint with a number of guys going forward. Lastly, once you go through all of this, there is a part of me that just wants to forget about it and move the fuck on. However, that will not help others who are either deciding or feel too ashamed to come to terms with the implant getting worse as time goes on. Everyone really does mean well. If you call and ask other surgeons, they will tell you that there is no way that this type of device will work long term. |

| I am familiar with your story and everyone else's. I have read them all before going through with the procedure. I knew and know the risks. There is no procedure without risk. I don't deny or discount the failures of the surgery, nor the success. I took in to account both & took the calculated risk. There are differences in between what people consider success. You obviously care about the visual aesthetics of the implant, where I do not. I knew this going in. There are plenty of boob jobs that are obvious. Do most guys give a crap? Nope! We just like big boobs natural or fake. Do I think most woman care if I have a Dick implant? My theory is no they think the same way we do. Does my wife care I have an implant? Nope she loves it. As far as protrusions, mine has softened considerably. The head where it is sewn is smooth. I did notice one common thing in most of the failure stories. The commonality was masturbation. I have chosen not to do that post implant. My theory is it puts to much stress on the skin. The hand can get quite a bit tighter than a vagina. In the end it comes down to the individuals decision to have any procedure done. By continually sharing my experience I hope to give someone the other side of the story. In hopes they don't feel like an outcast on this forum. I have nothing to personally gain by staying on here and facing the constant negativity. Again maybe that's why you don't see the success stories! Everybody always talks of how many failures there are. I say each failure posts their pictures in a thread. Kind of like the people that have a success are demanded to do. If we don't we are called 'shills'. |
