I got mine May 2018, still have it and intend to get it removed within the next 6 months. Here's my rundown of what I've got from 11 months:

Pros:
- Went from 4x4 BPFL 6.5x5 BPEL to 6x6 BPFL 7.5x6.5 BPEL
- The harder material creates a more resilient bulge that resists the pressure of your clothes, so your bulge is actually more impressive than you would think
- Immediate confidence boost the day I got it. I was more outgoing and my ego was and still is through the roof.
- Better luck with women and my career as a result of the confidence boost
- Last longer in bed as a result of sensation loss
- Erect looks natural

Cons:
- Permanent nerve damage (sensation loss) on the skin covering the top 30% of the shaft
- Scar (it fades but never fully)
- While it's in, the top half of the inner shaft receives very little sensation
- Flaccid only looks natural when sitting or standing, and not when moving
- Flaccid doesn't flop naturally, which makes your penis less fun 90% of the time and makes handjobs weird
- Rarely there's discomfort (I'd be hesitant to call it pain) in the stitches just behind the head.
- Recovery is a BITCH. You will not get a full nights sleep for weeks. The healing process is long and requires care and lifestyle changes.
- Toothy blowjobs
- Initial decrease in length. I actually really only started seeing gains in the last couple months

I'm 9 weeks post op and couldn't be happier. Wife couldn't be happier either. She wasn't complaining before, but she said it took things to a whole new level. Mine has softened up as well.

As other physicians will tell you, it will eventually have problems, such as protrusion. It is not designed to be in the penis. I have read these boards for a while now and it seems that there are a number of men who are initially happy and then have problems and want it out. I was one of them. I think it\'s because we spend a lot of money and really want to believe that it will work long term. It does look nice in the beginning when standing up. After a few months (7 or 8), the implant started to bend and protrude on both sides which made it painful to jerk off and have sex. Also, anyone could tell that there was something off about the implant. Initially I was going to attend a nudist camp but that was out the window because it was obvious that my dick was weirdly shaped. I had it out by another doctor five days ago and am so relieved to get that out of my body. I was constantly aware of it at all times and felt like a freak of nature with it in. I hope the good feelings last. Mine did for a number of months and then things turned for the worst like so many others on these boards. He will be stopped eventually. There are complaints with the medical board from what I understand. Most recently, a number of men have come forward. If you are wondering about all of the successes, ask Elist office to have a few people contact you and discuss how much they love the implant after a couple of years. See if anyone actually contacts you to discuss their successes. Crickets.

With Hippa and privacy laws how could Elist's office have anyone contact you? Maybe that's why you heard crickets. Maybe if you guys didn't whack-a-mole every person that has a success story, you would have people willing to share their journey on this forum. Just because it doesn't work out for someone doesn't mean it doesn't work for everyone.

Actually, Elist\'s office staff stated that they would be happy to have a few people contact me. I asked them three times and not one person ever emailed or phoned me to discuss how happy they were with the device after a couple of years. I understand HIPAA laws and I never expected them to just give me numbers of happy customers. Since Elist and office are excellent marketers, wouldn\'t you speculate that they would have a number of people who have agreed to contact others to discuss their success stories. I am just telling you that I asked them to have a couple people contact me with their stories of success after two years with the implant. They responded that they would be happy to do so and I never heard from anyone - 3 times requested. If the product is so amazing, don\'t you think that there would be a number of people who would be speaking out for Elist after a couple of years to help him out? I believe you do have a success story. I am honestly saying that I too thought mine was going to be a success story until months down the road when the implant got worse - not better. It looked really good at first and I honestly thought to myself that this will work out and thankfully I am one of the lucky ones. I still consider myself lucky because my protrusions that developed later on did not yet puncture my skin. The doctor who removed it said that it was only a matter of time before I would have had problems. I did have some redness near one of the protrusions from rubbing against the skin during day to day activities. I understand your frustration with these boards. I really sincerely do. I didn\'t want to read all of this either and actually stopped looking at these boards until I noticed the implant getting worse. I swear to god I hope your implant really continues to work out for years to come. I really do. I wanted to just hide and not read any of these posts again after spending that kind of money. However, there was always a little voice deep inside that told me to really pay attention to how this implant progresses. When I told them about the sharp protrusions, they told me to inject them with Kenalog. Seriously. Once the implant was bent, the points would no longer smooth out at all, even when I pulled the penis forward and wore the turbogrip. I was meticulous in my aftercare and eventually, problems still commenced. The guys on these boards truly are not trying to be cruel even though some of the posts are quite rude and blunt. Get second opinions from other doctors as well. So many of them out there can\'t believe that he is actually doing this surgery. I made a big mistake and it cost me a lot of money. I had to get through the shame in order to heal psychologically. The advertisements are false and extremely misleading which is why the CA Medical Board is now on his tail. Where are the 95% success guys? Where are all of their reviews praising the amazing results after one, two, three years and so forth? The initial increase in Girth is quite exciting until the reality of the implant eventually sets in. I would not be wasting my time writing this if it were not to help others. I have nothing to gain from this note whatsoever. I hope you have a successful implant and will continue to report that success two years from now. All the best to you. I mean that sincerely.
Kevin

Exactly there's a reason they are investigating. If they did not investigate complaints they would be inept. They have a duty to investigate. Now if the investigation results in some sort of action then you have something to tout. Just by saying there is is an investigation doesn't mean a thing. I understand there are some jaded guys on here. I would be too if my surgery didn't work out, but it seems as if the jaded patients cling to everything negative and nothing positive. I'm not defending what was done or not done. I would just like to see an open forum where results are shared instead of bashed. We all get this done to feel better about ourselves. Let us feel good about it rather than telling us 'you just wait and see'

You\'re living in fantasy land if you think the Elist implant will work out for you or anyone else. Some people have to learn the hard way.

I didn\'t have a forum warning me about this guy 10 years ago.

You and others question why you don't hear any success stories on this forum. You're tactics are the exact reason why no one reports their success on this forum. Your tactics don't foster well being. Your projecting your negative outlook and wishing harm to anyone that has the procedure. Rather than indulge in that sort irrational behavior, you would probably benefit better from some counseling.

You should actually continue to post your success story. Seriously. I did initially for a while. I was happy with the results. Just know you have a place to go if anything starts to change down the road. I hope you have a long success story years into the future. I mean that will all sincerity. The board needs to have posts that are honest and I believe that a number of men are very happy with the implant during the first few months up to a year. My first surgery he had to correct and did so three months later. It was off center by 90 degrees. He did not charge (and he shouldn\'t) for the operation at all. The second one was going well for about 5 months and then the protrusions started. Then they got worse. Then the implant shifted and looked weird in my Dick. I couldn\'t masturbate anymore and one of the intrusions was starting to hit the head of my penis with any stimulation. There was just no way that this would straighten out over time and I had read that this same thing had happened to many other guys over time. I was fortunate to have it removed in time. I did so 12 days ago and am healing well. I am happy that it is out of my body and there is no way in hell I will put anything in there again. Keep up with your posts. They are honest and you should feel safe to let everyone know how things are going up to the first year or two. My best, Kevn.

We shall see who needs serious counselling within a year or so.

This is an open forum and people have been sharing results for nearly a decade. The \"bashing\" you are seeing isn\'t without cause. Do you see the same \"bashing\" with PMMA or HA? Hell, even FFT isn\'t nearly this bashed. There is a simple simple simple reason. A rigid silicone device inserted into a dynamic organ (i.e. fluctuates in size & circulation) tends to present problems.

Yeah we will see. After a year you or someone like you will say 'we shall see in 2 years'. The goal post will move as time goes on. I think it's very clear no matter the results of other patients there are some here that will plug their ears and hum rather than listen.

It would be interesting to see someone start a thread of Implant failures. Post their failed implant pictures where anyone could see them (not just members). I posted my before and after pictures that way. Due to being called a shill for the Dr. That way we could actually see who has had a failed implant. That way we could actually be certain some people posting on here aren't using multiple accounts to do so. Just a thought for you guys.
