TOPIC: Circ scar swelling

Circ scar swelling 4 months 2 weeks ago #1308718314

I’m curious if others who have had filler , HA and or PMMA/Ellanse have swelling in the circ scar area daily? Mine seems to worst in the morning. It’s also prominent after using a Cock ring or intense sex. Does this indicate there’s a problem with lymphatic drainage?

I’m in the process of dissolving a great deal of my HA, and when I say process I do mean it’s a freaking PROCESS. Not easy, but I’ll do a separate write up on that soon.

For now I’m just curious if a) others have this persistent swelling/puffiness and b) what is the reason this happens?

How long has this been going on for? And besides swelling, is there any redness or pain?

No redness or pain. It’s just extremely “puffy” throughout certain times of the day and following sex or masturbation. I read on @Rejuvall website that some men have an internal scar that isn’t visible from their circumcision. It says that in 20% of cases it serves as a block to lymphatic drainage. I wonder if this is the case with me and if so what the remedy is (if there is one). It’s been going on ever since I got filler initially.

I’m seeing Dr Carney on September 20th to have more of my filler dissolved so I’ll bring it up to him then and update the board as to my progress with dissolving . Thanks for the reply and eager to hear from anyone else who’s experienced this

Just from reading your description, it does sound like this is a lymphatic drainage issue because of the circ scar. However, Dr. Carney will be able to tell you for sure when you come see us, and I'm fairly certain he should also be able to get you where you want to be.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any more questions or concerns in the meantime. We're always happy to do whatever we can to be of help!

Updating this with a picture for reference . Anyone experience the same thing? I’m fairly certain this is a lymphatic issue. Also not sure if it’s something “fixable” or not. I never had an issue prior to filler .

Definitely sounds like lymph drainage problem. I think a cycle sets up of poor drainage, stretched lymph and inflammation causing less drainage.

I'm proposing this as an experiment to another member to reduce it.

www.amazon.com/External-Catheter-Rochest...ediate/dp/B00ZH30OOC

Get on external condom. Can try it in 2 diferent ways. 1 where it only touches the head and use this to suspent the penis with tip pointing up to allow it to fully drain the lymph. Or try rolling out the external condom down so that it pushes the swelling from the lymph out. I don't know which will work better, maybe both. I suspect once fully drained and allowed to relax for a while, this will make the problem less likely to occur. I suspect it is a self perpetuating cycle.

As you’ve already seen in my other post I’m having the exact same issue. How long has this been going on for you?

I had my filler 3 and a half weeks ago. Been an issue for the past two and a half weeks. I’m now trying compression for a few days as suggested in my forum post.

I’m not sure how the filler would cause this, though? I thought it was inflammation caused due to the needles during the procedure.

If you look on @Rejuvall website they mention this happens in ~20% of cases. Men have a scar that is beneath the skin and you don’t know there’s a problem until you have surgery or filler . Basically the lymphatics are blocked and not draining properly. How it’s remedied I have no idea. Mine doesn’t create pain or discomfort. It just looks bad and gets very puffy. I’m in the process of dissolving all my filler so I’ll update the board once I do if the issue has in fact resolved.

It’s been going on for a very long time. I’m just realizing that what I thought was “soft” filler was actually fluid.

Oh damn. That’s really discouraging to hear! I really was hoping that this issue would be temporary. I still don’t understand why dissolving the HA would help fix it, though. Do you think the HA in the penis is causing the blockage?

Since this seems to happen in 20% of the cases is it normal that it doesn’t eventually fix itself? What does your doctor say?

Sorry don’t let me discourage you. Yes I think it’s caused by filler but perhaps there’s a solution. I’ll report back after I meet with Carney. Stay tuned

I'm going to try and do a deep dive into this at some point but maybe someone already has. The doctors should know by they may BS you and pretend when they don't.

My guess is this works like the vasoocculive mechanism that causes an Erection. Where smooth muscle changes pushes veins against the tunica causing them to be constricted so outflow is diminished while arterial infllow increases. The introduction of filler causes swelling which will push against lymph drainage which unlike arteries veins have no pressure or rigid walls to keep them open thus occluding outflow. a circular scar would cause a chain reaction on either side of the obstruction where fluid and pressure build causing further obstruction. Like an internal Cock ring that is tight enough to obstruct lymph but not veinous or arterial flow. If this continues to occur it means there is more filler than your anatomy can support. Not sure what to do about this besides bulding up filler very gradually or just taking a chance and seeing what happens. It is possible the circumscision scar could be loosend but it has been there a long time. Squeezing on either side of the scar might work over time to strech it out, i am not sure. depends on if you can put pressure under the scar or not. Basically, you could try stretching out the scar, then draining via gravity or compression. Now that I think of it compression my not be the best approach for long periods. The scar is also being compressed so it may be cinching down again. Maybe try streching the scar, draining as suggested, and keep alternating until the scar loosens up.

This would actually make sense because (going from memory) the problem started to be more pronounced as I got more and more filler. Compression and gravity both have a positive effect. I don’t think this is a permanent issue - I’m quite confident it can be fixed.

So how long exactly has this been an issue for you? And how many rounds/ml did you get?

This was my first round and I got 10ml. It doesn’t really seem that much tbh.

It would be a major bummer if the filler would need to be dissolved in order to get this fixed. I’m quite happy besides the constant build up of liquid there.

I have been wearing compression for two days now and will continue to until Friday. If that still doesn’t fix/help I’m not sure what to do. I won’t see the doctor that did my filler until the end of the month as they are all on vacation in August.

How would I even know where the scar is? We are talking about an internal scar, right?

I’m honestly not confident that a cosmetic doctor has the knowledge to fix this. I may need to go see an actual doctor. But what kind of doctor would I go see here? A surgeon? An urogolist? Not really sure where I would start.
