I know currently Ellanse still isn't approved for use as a filler in the US. Just curious if anyone has seen any news on future approval. I've had one session with Dr. C and I'm very happy with it almost a year later. I had planned to go back and realized passport was expired so I'm currently waiting to renew mine. Just wondering why this hasn't been approved in the US yet. If I'm not mistaken bellafil is approved and correct me if I'm wrong but isn't belafill a type of PMMA . So why belafill and not Ellanse?

As far as I know, Ellanse is still not approved in the U.S.

Yes Bellafill is the (patented) brand of PMMA in the U.S. but has a few asterisks worth noting:
  • It's very costly (per cc);
  • It has a bovine carrier (as opposed to a cellulose carrier used in most of the PMMA progress reports here). The bovine carrier takes a lot longer to dissipate, which extends the window of time the PMMA has to settle, dramatically increasing the odds of post-op irregularity (aesthetic issues).
  • An allergy test (to the bovine) is required before injections can begin.

I'm curious as to why the fda hasn't approved Ellanse. I definitely won't be going with Bellafill. I'm very happy with the Ellanse. I would prefer to stick with Dr. C just tired of waiting on passport renewal process. Fixing to just sneak across the border. Is Bellafill the only PMMA that has fda approval in the US. I've also wondered if anyone has had PMMA after having Ellanse done. The concept behind the 2 seems to be the same except with Ellanse they dissolve and over time the collagen breaks down in the body and with PMMA they don't dissolve leading to a permanent result. So if someone who has had an Ellanse procedure performed. Would you need to wait the 4 years for it to dissolve before getting PMMA

I'm curious too, it's been quite some time since when Morganstern had to stop using Ellanse in the US.

Regarding your question, I think none has had PMMA after Ellanse.
Fact is, all the people that had Ellanse still haven't seen a decrease in size as of today, at least that I know of. Even Subtle77 that had it done 4+ years ago in Australia (by Calibre Clinic) hasn't reported a reduction in size yet.

Just saw this thread and now I’m confused. I thought Ellanse has been approved in the US? I am pretty sure several doctors have been using it already?
What am I missing?
____
I find the PhalloBoards 3.0 SOOO confusing to navigate. The whole top portion of the screen uses up so much space for no reason because there is no information there to begin with.
General forums
Doctors forums
Etc,
Etc
..where is the list moderators we may reach out to? ..and how do you reach out to them? I can’t find any clickable Moderator links..
Pretty frustrating actually.. Are PhalloBoards 2.0 totally separate from the new boards? I thought it was just a newer, more updated version of the old threads but I can’t find any of the old topics?
Why would anyone want to separate the two? Not trying to start an argument but why would you make it more difficult for the average Joe who’s just trying to do some research??
Thanks

I'm terribly sorry for the sentiment - for many very USED to the old site, the new site can be a bit jarring. Are you using PC or Mobile? I'll take these design critiques into account.

And which doctors are you aware of using Ellanse? It is in FDA Trial Phases last I checked.

The old topics are still on 2.0. Everything on these forums are newer.

I think this is correct. I haven't been able to find anyone who has had PMMA on top of Ellanse. I actually asked Dr C about this when I was there for my touch Ellanse touch up round. He said that you would need to wait until Ellanse is totally out of your body before using PMMA. Which, makes sense. But, as others have pointed out, Ellanse (from what we have seen) may last MUCH longer than they are claiming. I'm planning on at least 5 years. Time will tell..but I DO agree it would be nice to have an option here in the states.

Thanks for the reply. I guess it’s because I use it on my iPhone maybe? I only use my laptop a few times of the year, otherwise I use iPhone for everything. The old site seemed to be easier to navigate when using an iPhone.

As far as Ellanse, I was following the old forums here looking into my options when I got busy with life and stopped monitoring it. I could’ve sworn that Dr. Morganstern in Atlanta was using elllanse? Is that incorrect OR has he stopped using it?? Which is worrisome.. I was beginning to lean toward Ellanse because of the good reviews here and the fact it eventually dissipates which means it’s repairable, if needed.

If they stopped using it I assume they must’ve discovered some kind of serious complications for them to go cold turkey like that??

Btw, when people write about “Dr. C” are they referring to the Atlanta doctor who works with dr. Morganstern or the doctor who works at a clinic in Mexico?
I’d imagine both are just as talented, I just want to make sure I know which doctor they’re referring to.
Thanks..

I'll make a note of mobile accessibility as I go into revamping the site this year.

Ellanse was offered for a time while during trials, but it was requested by the FDA that all American clinics cease its use until it's actually approved. There was talk about opening a Cayman Island Clinic to host Ellanse services but covid put a clamp in that.

Ellanse is still being used in Mexico, the U.K., and Australia amongst my Sponsors with relatively good results. It's still effectively experimental relative to other progress reports & fillers, but a viable option nonetheless.

Dr. C is still Dr. Casavantes on this forum, and the other person you are referring to is Dr. Carney from Morganstern Rejuvall.

Does anyone know why type of Ellanse subtle77 had done? Was it the long acting or short acting?

Hello..

Haven’t logged in for well over a year, kind of gave up on my search for Repair..

I noticed there’s now a message Board 3.0?!
I was still trying to figure out 2.0..

How do I post messages on the new board?
I looked everywhere and don’t see a “post a message” tab?

So I found my old message and am replying to it hoping it’ll populate on the new board?

My question is - has Ellanse been approved again in the US?
Last time I’d logged on I found out it wasn’t approved any longer..
Still looking for Repair from a FFT done in Chicago many, many years ago.. lumps, sponginess, etc., etc..

Thank you..

There is a New Topic link just above the threads, that's how you can start a new discussion.
PhalloBoards 3.0 has been out for nearly 3 years B) you sure you haven't logged in for a year?

I don't mind bumping topics (even if they are 2 years old) assuming they can resume a relevant topic or inquiry, so this is fine.

As for your questions:

Ellanse is still not available in the U.S. - however minutes from San Diego (California, USA), you can get Ellanse injections via Avanti Derma.

As for FFT repair, you can conceivably get more fat to patch up any absorption. Methods have improved drastically from years ago from when you you've had yours performed.

Alternatively, get Renuva injections, which is an adipose matrix (basically fat converted into a dermal filler), which can also patch up your FFT job without requiring fat harvested from your body.

For the FFT repair I'd recommend Rejuvall (Dr. Carney).

For Renuva, you can reach Dr. Tsay who can even be available to chat by phone.

As you can see, none of these recommendations are in Chicago, but if you want quality results and/or repairs, be willing to travel, since it's your one & only penis after all.

Good luck.

Thank you for the quick reply, that’s greatly appreciated..

You’re right, more than a year.. I checked and last time I got an email reply was in March 21.. wow, time sure goes by..

- I’m including a screenshot of what I see on my ends, there’s no “New Topic” link anywhere and I’ve refreshed the page numerous times and have tried other links in the site? Not sure what I’m doing wrong?

- Is Rejuval affiliated with Dr. Morganstern (sp?) in Atlanta? This was the clinic I was looking into last time when I found out Ellanse was no longer an option..
I noticed their website no longer has a link for prior-surgery repairs? In the past it was peyronie’s disease, enlargement AND Repair. ..but the last portion is no longer visible on their site?
Any idea why? Maybe they don’t do repairs anymore..

- I mentioned Chicago because that’s where I had my original procedure.. back then (late 90s?) few places had any enlargement procedures. I traveled pretty far to get to Chicago so I’m totally ok with travel.. As someone who’s been dealing with lumps, sponginess, etc. for years I am absolutely ok with traveling to the clinic which, hopefully can help me the most.

- the place you mentioned minutes from San Diego - I assume it’s in Mexico? I remember the murder of a patient who went to Mexico for a procedure so I’d be lying if I said I’d not be worried to travel to Mexico even though I’m sure the area where they perform it is safe.. but..

Also, if there were complications I’d be very worried..
I’m mid 50s now so whatever I decide will be my last hurrah and I want to pick the safest and the best option available..

I know there’s a place in Australia, I could conceivably go there too but it’d be a long way and again, complications?

I’ll read up on the Renuva option…

Yes Rejuvall is affiliated with Dr. Morganstern of Atlanta, but Dr. Carney heads up most of their penile work. They do Repair work but of course, it's at their discretion - you'd have to consult with them directly on the matter.

And yes Avanti Derma is in (Tijuana) Mexico, and while every major city has its "bad spots", it's relatively safe if you go to & from your destination. I'd argue I feel less safe in Los Angeles, Chicago, or Baltimore than I do in Tijuana, and people get robbed in those aforementioned cities over wallets and bikes... so I wouldn't stress about Medical Tourism to Mexico which happens safely daily.

Australia is needlessly far for your situation to be frank.

Reach out to Dr. Tsay if you'd like to get his personal opinion on Renuva given your circumstances.

No procedure is without risk. I'd look to get your situation resolved first before adding any additional Girth. Good luck.
