Hoddle, are you a doctor or scientist? The way you typed what you want sounded like youre in the medical field........

No, just a penis enlargement enthusiast.

I just think there has to be a way of creating a capsule, like those often found after the Elist implant is removed, but without the need for surgery.

Sometime I actually wonder if PLGA scaffolds ever really work for penis enlargement as they are meant to. I think it\'s just is likely that those who seem growth and in fact seeing the result of scar tissue encapsulating the scaffolds.

We know solid silicone often gets encapsulated. What we need to do is find an injectable that can also get encapsulated. We know this doesn\'t happen with low concentration particulate based products, such as Radiesse and PMMA. But I wonder what would happen if one increased the concentration, so it\'s nearly a solid mass, like silicone. Scar tissue actually develops pretty quickly, so if we found a product that dissolves quickly, it could all be done very quickly.

HaHa, ok..........im a penis enthusiast as well & want a 7.5X6

As for what you are stating about injecting something that will have scar tissue grow around it, if you are injecting hard silicone, isnt there a chance your body may reject it? And if so, it will take forever to get those pieces of silicone out of there unlike how fast Elist takes out the implant, although he should be banned from using the implant.

No, as the material won\'t be like silicone. The whole point is that it\'s either a synthetic or biological material that dissolves. Like one of the acids that make Sutures. The material would be injected and hopefully the body will recognise it as foreign and try and wall it off, by building a capsule around it. Then over the coming weeks the material absorbs, hopefully leaving the capsule behind. Because the patient is able to stretch throughout the entire process, there should be know concerns about the scar tissue causing shortening.

I\'m unsrue why this doesn\'t happen with Radiesse, but I think maybe it\'s because the particles are so small and it\'s only 30% concentration.

Basically, imagine your Elist implant was put in your penis, but without surgery. Then instead of being surgically removed, it just dissolved. Wouldn\'t you be very happy with the result, especially as you wont lose length?

Now we\'re talking.........that would be one heck of an accomplishment! Thing is, I bet some doctors/scientists are able to create something like this but its just sitting there collecting dust. This would be a HUGE forward step for penile Girth enhancement. Love the idea how the the material would dissolve in like a month after the scar tissue has already been created & the Girth has been increased.

Really exciting! Years away from them being able to apply it, to patent it, slap a price tag on it. Even longer for it to be safely or usable on your dude parts. PE safe probably never. Neat theory though.

Hoddle:

A liquid, injectable scaffold already exists. I actually posted about this before. Once injected, this material will turn into a gel and will fill irregular 3-dimensional spaces. It can later be transitioned back into a liquid and then removed. I\'m not sure if it has the ability to create a \"capsule,\" however it is designed as an alternative to prefabricated, implantable scaffolds.

I sent this information to Dr.C (Wade actually) and Dr. Runnels. Both seemed quite interested. Here\'s the link:

Any updates about Anthony Atala work on laboratory-grown penises? In october 2014 many sources wrote about it, but after 1 year, there is no news about it

I know that a lot of the research is wonderful for FTM transgender individuals, and considering they can create a penis-like organ from forearm skin or the pubic area it seems that we are advancing quite well

Not wanting to rain on the parade... but collagen tends to contract ie like scars. That is why some guys have had shortening with Removal of Elist\'s implants or even with otherwise successful PMMA.

Maybe it would be OK around microspheres - avoiding longitudinal collagen deposition. A bit like the \'furry\' coated breast implants that almost totally stop capsular contraction, the big complication of breast implants making them go hard. They were the best of the best implants (according to those who use them) but the Brazillian polyurothane implants were withdrawn from the market last year (maybe they are back again?).

@Rodsmallz
Once the technology is invented, what\'s stopping surgeons offering it for cosmetic purposes?

There\'s still no any updates from Atala\'s office. I\'m wondering, why they just can\'t say something like: \"We are at the human trials stage, it will take X time and then we will do this and that\", but no, they are send us \"fuck off\" responses: \"Thank you for your inquiry regarding Dr. Atala's research on penis regeneration using cell and tissue engineering techniques. Although we are actively working in this area, it is still in the experimental stage. We regret that this technology cannot be applied to clinical practice at this time. However, it is our goal to bring this technology to a point of widespread clinical use, and we hope that we could help patients and their families, like you, in the future. We thank you for your interest in our work. We will keep your inquiry on record and contact you if appropriate in the future.\" Can we somehow get more information? Just to let you guys know, they\'re planned to do human trials in 2016: d28lcup14p4e72.cloudfront.net/94303/3068...5-07-24-01-28-21.png

I saw that mail a while ago and read it before. Human trials should be active right now. I have scarring inside my penis so I hope I might one day be a candidate, but even though I mailed Atala\'s team they don\'t provide any more info. Is there anyone on here who actually is participating or knows someone who is?

From this article: motherboard.vice.com/en_au/read/how-to-grow-an-artificial-penis

Lab-grown penises will be made available to men with genital injuries and abnormalities within five years, according to scientists at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. If you\'re skeptical of that timeline, it\'s worth knowing that researchers at the institute have already transplanted lab-grown vaginas into women born without them. They\'ve also achieved major successes with other artificial organs, so their credentials in this field are pretty sterling.

Well, two years have already passed. And still no new information.
