In this korean study they used also 2 cc of hyaluronic acid and the patients in both group they gain > 60% of their original size :-
before the injection the glans girth was 9.13 - 9.49 cmAfter the injection the glans girth was 14.93 - 14.78 cm so they have more than 5. 3 cm increase so more than 60% .
But it will depend on the size of the glans of the person :-
e.g. with 2 cc for Artecoll you will have more increase in % for the smaller glans than for the bigger glans.
i.e. smaller glans will have more increase than bigger glans ( for the 2 cc)

I have sent an e-mail to Lemperle about this doctor\'s technique in using Artecoll for the Glans and that was his reply :-
I know Dr. El-Seweifi well - but never met him in person, because I asked him some 10 years ago to publish his method of wrapping a non-absorbable net (mesh) around the penis in my book on Aestetische Chirurgie (aesthetic surgery). Concerning a glans augmentation, my feeling is to augment the corona only to make it fit to the shaft. This can be done by Artecoll, as it has been done with a temporary fillers before , but it must be applied very superficially - because the rest of the glans is a spongy tissues , where you may get intravascular and may inject it into the blood stream. However, Artecoll is not anymore on the market since the Chinese bought the factory EMCM in Nijmegen, Holland. Dr. El-Seweifi could buy the Artecoll directly from EMCM, as I know. Best, Gottfried

Thanks man, I am trying to gather more information about this doctor, I think he is egyptian but he lives in Berlin and he travels a lot to different arabic countries.
Artecoll is a permanent product it is like other PMMA products (the beads are non-biodegradable) it will depend on the new collagen (e.g. 80% of the new volume comes from the new collagen and 20% of the new volume is from the beads) formed around its beads .
I think the best thing we should do now is to gather more information about his Artecoll injection , so please HC dont do this procedure until we have a better information. I would like to see his before and after pic.\'s , esp. the after pic\'s not directly done after the injection ( which is shown in other web-sites where they inject Hyaluronic acid into the glans --> the increase in size could be from edema and not only from the product) i.e. injecting water in my Glans can give me direct increase in its size - LOL.
Check this paper from Korea using Hyaluronic acid for Glans enhancement they have good results :-
(They inject Hyaluronic acid into the (Dermis ???) with a long term efficacy > 1 year).

Somebody who can have only a consultation with him in regard these two procedures , actually I am interested in knowing more about the Artecoll procedure .
If he is really doing this Artecoll technique (does he inject it directly into the superficial layers of the glans or into the blebs which I have mentioned it before) and has no serious complications, the only thing I would be worried about is the esthetic look of the glans ( e.g. small lumps) so the after pic.s are important for us.
As I said HC please, dont do the procedure until we are sure there will be no serious complications from it.

You are really the man to discover new experimental technology, the glans is what seems to be hardest to enhance. Dr El Seweifi seems to be of Arab origin given his name and the fact that his website is also localized in Arabic language. He offers his technique both with pelvic skin or with Artecoll. Which do you find smarter?I know precious little about Articoll although he does say it is not durable, or was that comment for both substances? If it isn\'t too costly I could travel there easily as I have a trip to Germany scheduled anyways.

I have found one urologist his clinic in Berlin who use around 2 cc of Artecoll injection for Glans enhancement , he also use I think DFG for the glans enhancement :-

The best thing if we have somebody here in the forum who lives in germany and can have a direct consultation with this doctor will be a great idea .
BTW he use VYPRO mesh (e.g. used for hernial repair) these mesh are partly absorbable multifilament mesh contains vicryl (absorbable) and prolene (non-absorbable) for girth enhancement and also for lengthening procedure (to prevent retraction) ???

From using these mesh you could have complications even if they were low e.g infection or adhesions

The injections with Dr. Runels \"seem\" to have helped in the reduction of scar tissue. I do not, at this point, see any girth or length increases. I talked to him and I may go for another session in a couple of months after the PMMA procedures.

My goal now it to get some girth back and then I hope to increase length safely by what ever method is available at that time.

Thanks for the advice I\'ll try that. Funny but I instinctively used the thumb as it is wider and softer than one\'s finger tips. Also Wade said that the extender is OK but he didn\'t seem to thing it made a difference as long as you keep on the bandage for the first couple of days. He also taped my glans to the end of the bandage to prevent it from turtling inside and retracting while the PMMA isn\'t settled yet.

I\'m sorry to not be able to reply yet to your question especially as I have not yet learned what quantity of PMMA or in what concentration was injected. My current swollen girth including bandage is over 5 inches, but this is with swelling due to liquid buildup which has nothing to do with real size dimensions. I expect the swelling to go down soon, it already has some, possibly thanks to arnica pills and cream. And I\'m almost sad to see it lose its swollen status and to thin again at the waist... I will be patiently waiting for several weeks for the first collagen to appear and for some form of thickening to become lastingly in place.

Yes, I followed your advice and took the alpha blocker while awaiting the shuttle driver, my procedure started some two hours later. Thanks for the advice. I also took some prescription capsules containing caffeine, paracetamol and... opium powder which helped me cope with the psychological aspect of this procedure. I\'m not only okay with it now, but actually find it healthy to go forth with phalloplasty.

They take forever to process your order and therefore I didn\'t get my VacADS which will remain until September on the ground next to my kitchen door. Ten days is not exactly customer responsive and I can\'t say I will shop again at that store. Regarding what extender only holds the glans, ask me: today I drove from San Diego to Scottsdale and for much of the time I steered with one hand tugging at the glans with the other during the ride. It also helps to be bandaged and I went to a pharmacy in Yuma to get some bandage tape to properly wrap it together efficiently. Once done while holding stretched to the max the glans, you will find that there shouldn\'t be any use for a mechanical extender. Wade did ask me if I pumped and I too quickly said no so he dropped the topic, I wonder if he was going to suggest I do or instead admonish me not to during some phase of the healing? Regarding porn I\'d wager that it is mostly useful to stretch it out before fitting the bandage. lol

Three days to go for round 2

Update:

Just did a final measurement before I leave for the airport!

I expected at best that I would have maintained perhaps lost a little.

But I seemed to have gained ever so slightly. I will consider my previous measurements official as we are talking about subtle changes but were it had gone from 6\'1 to 6 or just over it appears to be 6\'1 again and even over.

So unlike some I have not have any big gains post op but remember I had fft and I am still absorbing that! In fact I can really feel places especially base where the fat has gone but the measuremnt is still holding up at 6\'75.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I figured might as well be active on here since there\'s really no one else I wish to tell about my \"procedure.\"

The steriod use was a big concern but after speaking with them today he reassured me I\'d be fine and that it wouldnt effect me in any way; I was actually told compared to some they have seen I am on a relatively small cycle (I guess I\'m not the only one with a case of body dismensia or whatever they call it)

I\'ll be sure to keep everyone up to date as the date gets closer, now I just have to patiently wait!
