Rejuvall® MAXL ($4,900) vs P-Long (Aesthetics - app $7,500) vs DIY 3 weeks 1 hour ago #1308721174

What is the value of paying for the MAXL or P-Long processes when it appears their processes can be replicate at a cheaper cost?

I don't want loose out on gains but I want to waste money either.

Please provide me some input because I'm at a decision point on what path to take.

Thank you.

Great question! The main value of doing either MAXL or P-Long vs DIY is they are both clinically proven to be safe AND effective; neither of those methods are dangerous the way DIY methods are because both MAXL and P-Long were designed and tested by board-certified urologists. Additionally, and I can't speak for P-Long on this because I don't know for sure, the MAXL is all under the care and close advisement of board-certified urologists who have specialized in men's sexual health and cosmetic Urology for over 45 years. DIY penis enlargement is incredibly dangerous and guys often "overdo" it and use damaging methods that end up causing Peyronie's disease and other injuries. Moreover, gains from DIY methods tend to be temporary while the gains achieved from MAXL are permanent.

The MAXL protocol cannot actually be replicated, mainly because we are the only place in the country that has ECP technology. We're also the only cosmetic Urology providers who offer a guaranteed 2-Inch permanent length increase, when you combine the MAXL protocol with our MegaMAXL surgical lengthening procedure. I should also mention that MAXL works in tandem with all of our enlargement procedures (surgical and non-surgical, and both length and Girth procedures) to maximize size gains by increasing the amount of shaft skin available to stretch, due to the physiologic hyperplasia that's induced by MAXL.

Hope that helps! I'm happy to answer any more questions you might have or do anything else I can to assist.

Simple answer & long answer:

Simple Answer:
  • Physician Oversight
  • A Prescribed Protocol for those who don't have the time to invest "which PE routine" works best across multiple PE websites, especially since many of them are anecdotal and written by anonymous contributors with little-to-no photo evidence.
  • Regarding the aforementioned "anecdotal routines composed by anonymous authors" point, the costs with respect to these Protocols will go toward the monitoring, fine-tuning, and all other essential Research & Development (which is virtually non-existent in this field), something you won't find with online "armchair experts (respectfully)."

Long Answer:
  • Unsupervised (as in, no Physician Oversight) PE exercise routines can be risky. There are innumerable "sure-fire" strategies found throughout the Online PE Universe, some with more legitimacy than others. The problem is twofold: (1) not everyone responds to the same workouts/routines; example: some gain better with tunica stretching while others insist that ligament stretching is the way to go. (2) without oversight or coaching, PE exercises can often lead to injuries which can create serious setbacks. The reason why these risks are elevated is because routines seldom take into account anyone's conditioning, P.I.'s (physiological indicators), starting size, and the possibility of anomalous conditions of the penis to begin with -- for this reason, the 3 most important factors in any routine that are hard to quantify are: frequency, intensity, and proper technique. This is why DIY's can be risky, and why this can be alleviated by a medically prescribed Protocol which can be followed-up with in time.

The varying frequency of PE exercises, intensity of traction or pump or constriction, and improper technique (using devices or manual routines incorrectly) have and will lead to injury, which at best leads to a necessary pause for healing, and at worse, Peyronie's, Venous Leakage, and even Impotence (I'm not talking out of my proverbial ass here, I've not only read it on a multitude of PE sites devoted to these topics, but know both Doctors & Members alike who have reported having to deal with it). Like any elective PE (including medical procedures), they aren't without risk. Having an expert oversight helps reduce the overall risk of approaching PE by any means.

Additionally (like @P-Long ), Studies and R&D (Research & Development) are continuously funded through the acquisition of these programs. The Online PE scene have been clamoring for science & medicine to take PE exercises & devices more seriously, so why not contribute toward these endeavors if you are going to already be pumping & stretching? You help build a bigger sample size and allow these Protocols (including MAXL as well) to make the necessary tweaks to maximize results for the majority of its users. You also retain the benefits described in the above bullet-points.

That's my take, and I'm honest when I say that if & when I return to manual PE routines, I would prefer one of these types of programs than hoping to find what the new trend is from some who may have gotten lucky (i.e. works for them but not for others), or trends that don't come from a place of science, medicine, and through controlled studies.

I hope that helps.

This is Dr Judson Brandeis weighing in on this issue. I presented the findings of the P-Long study at both the International Society of Sexual Medicine and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. These were reviewed presentations attended by luminaries in the sexual medicine field. And I published my results in Andrology, which is a peer-reviewed journal. We have over 50 offices around the country performing P-Long, and they are getting results consistent with the P-Long study. About one Inch of length added in six months and about a half an Inch of Girth, and improved erectile function.

I looked for peer-reviewed evidence and data about Rejuvall, Maxl, and ECP and could not find any evidence that it works or does what it claims. I would love to see any published data or presentations at the SMSNA or ISSM. Until I see objective evidence, I am skeptical as well.

P-Long increases Erect length and Girth.

Flaccid size is EASY to improve. I inject 100 units of botulism neurotoxin and patients have a fuller Flaccid penis. It is simple to do, virtually painless and I charge 800. It lasts about 6 months. And totally safe. Don't waste your time and money doing a fancy procedure to get a larger Flaccid penis.

We admire Dr. Brandeis's groundbreaking contributions to men's sexual health and Urology. We don't think a patient can go wrong with either pathway, and he has a stellar reputation.

Our groundbreaking work in non-surgical correction of Peyronie's disease served as the foundation for all of our cosmetic urological procedures, including the Rejuvall MAXL non-surgical lengthening program. Peyronie's typically results in a smaller penis, with severe cases occasionally resulting in a reduction of up to three inches. Early on in our research, we saw that even in situations where ultrasounds confirmed that all of Peyronie's fibrous plaques had been removed, patients only restored roughly 30% of their pre-Peyronie's length. We then found that men restored lost length if we used a new non-surgical lengthening technique in conjunction with our fibrosis dissolving.

Unfortunately, because we are currently negotiating the licensing of all of our Peyronie’s technology to a select big pharma partner, and many of our stakeholders are hoping to receive a fair return for decades of concentrated work, we are still unable to share critical information about the building blocks that underpin all of our technologies' outcomes. We believe those limits will be alleviated once we undertake prospective trials in preparation for FDA approvals of the drugs and device components of what we've developed.

One of our team members proposed a few years ago that we provide the same technology to our patients with cosmetic Urology as a stand-alone treatment, in conjunction with a thickening process that is either non-surgical or surgical, and most commonly as a prelude to one of our surgical lengthening courses. To use a pun, it has been a huge success.

Patients can openly discuss their personal experiences with different penile enhancement methods on the PhalloBoards. That, in our opinion, is a key mechanism for the ongoing expansion of safe and successful cosmetic urological procedures. Regretfully, one out of every five surgeries we do each month focuses on fixing the results of unsuccessful treatments, usually from methods we believe to be harmful and even harmful to patients' penile health.

We are confident that Dr. Brandeis's P-Long and the Rejuvall MAXL will both produce outstanding outcomes without endangering patients.

I appreciate your response. I created P-Long because I saw too many men who had devastating side effects from fillers, fat transfers, Penuma and suspensory ligament ligation. I created a study to make sure that it actually worked, and that I could give patients reasonable expectations for how well it actually works.

I am looking forward to the results of the prospective study that you plan on doing. We certainly need more safe an effective options for penile enhancement.

Best of luck,

Judson Brandeis MD

Rejuvall® MAXL ($4,900) vs P-Long (Aesthetics - app $7,500) vs DIY 1 week 2 days ago #1308721292

I would like to thank everyone that provided input on this topic. I have learned a lot.

CONCLUSION

I believe the P-long and MAXL processes can be duplicated in a manner that essentially allows duplication of process results without signing up for either program. This is a positive for the many people that are not located near a P-long provider or near Rejuvall’s office in Atlanta or cannot afford the cost.

However, my conclusion is not intended to discourage anyone from signing up for either the P-long or the MAXL processes. I would consider doing so if I lived closer to either provider.

Also, I would love to hear from anyone that has or is going to sign up for one of these programs.

BASES

My belief is based on the responses to this topic, other information on Phalloboard, the P-Long website, the Rejuvall website and various other sources of information.

WORD of CAUTION

I agree any attempted duplication of these processes should be undertaken with care because of the possibility of self-damage. Danage seems most likely with the use of the RestoreX traction device and the Dr. Joel Kaplan Vacuum Device. Instructions and limitations for use of these devices are provided on the vendor’s websites as well as on the P-Long and Rejuvall websites.

P-LONG and MAXL SIMILARTIES

The P-long and MAXL process are similar in a many key ways including:
• RestoreX traction device used twice daily. (Vendor price app $525.)
• Dr. Joel Kaplan Vacuum Device used twice daily- (Vendor price app $139.)
• Supplements including Nitric Oxide Booster such as AFFIRM- (available on-line)

P-LONG and MAXL DIFFERENCES

The P-long and MAXL process differ in two key areas:
• P-long uses 6 PRP shots MAXL does not use PRP shots. (I can obtain 6 p-shots in my area for an app total $3,600)
• MAXL uses one session of External Counter Pulsation Therapy (ECPT); P-long does not use ECPT. (I did not check ECPT price, but the service is available)

GAINS and GURANTEE

• P-long claims up to 1-Inch Erect lengths. P-long does not come with a guarantee
• MAXL comes with a 1-Inch Flaccid guarantee. MAXL states no gain in Erect length

DOCTOR’s INPUT

One key area that has been brough up is “doctor’s oversight.”

My understanding is that under the P-LONG process you will see a doctor at the start of the program and for the six p-shot injections.

I also understand that in the MAXL process you will see a doctor at the start of the program and at the end of the program. No other visits are required

I do assume that doctors will respond to any needs patients may have.

DIY ("Do-It-Yourself") with respect to either protocol is not recommended because it isn't just a "pump & stretch" regimen alone. Take PRP for example, that alone requires professional healthcare oversight -- as in to say, it involves the withdrawing, processing, and re-injection of blood (platelets). Any such attempt to perform what is otherwise performed in a clinical setting is unadvisable, and any discussion on how to perform any type of medical procedure on a DIY basis is against Forum Rules. While I am not entirely in agreement with your conclusion, I will reiterate (as I always had before P-Long or MAXL was ever spoken of on this site), any DIY that is otherwise performed with the supervision of a qualified practitioner is a bad idea.

I agree PRP is a medical procedure and has to be performed by a doctor. I’m not advocating that any one perform any medical procedures on themselves. You would have to be crazy to do that.

What I’m pointing out is a person can replicate most if not all get all the steps in the P-long or MAXL process without using those specific providers. At least in my opinion.

Thanks

Of course you can replicate P-Long at home with the REstoreX, Vacuum Pump, and AFFIRM. The PRP is the secret sauce that makes things grow more quickly and there is no home version of this technology.
