Better from the infection now, at least I think. But I still have a small abrasion on the penis where some of the infection was lanced, so I’m still not ready for aftercare yet. I’ll check with urgent care in a day or so to confirm, but I have no swelling/pain or sign of infection. It was cured about 1-2 days into taking antibiotics it seemed.

I noticed the infection at around day 8, but there were signs at day 6 I think. A tiny white dot on the penis. This was pus under the skin. Swelling and soreness on the left side of the penis not the right. I finally put it together day 8 or so. It wasn’t really on my mind since I’d done 2 previous rounds with no issues.

The only thing I did differently this round was 1) rolled nodules more aggressively, maybe causing a very small abrasion and 2) had nodules cauterized off, leaving scabs that could more easily be infected. I honestly think it was just bad luck. Though maybe don’t be too aggressive with the roller. My entry points also stayed open longer this round, leaving me more vulnerable.

I didn’t get a fever. Nothing beside swelling and mild soreness. Thankfully I acted fast.

The day after I went to urgent care and got meds was HORRIFYING as the infected area burst, leaving me with 2 big wounds. I almost went to the emergency room. But these cuts quickly healed as they were shallow. I may post pics after I’m fully healed, but I don’t want to freak anyone out, especially since I got better so quickly (the penis heals fast).

I’m almost through my 1 weeks of antibiotics (Cefalexin) which was enough, but I’ll try to get more from the doc just to be safe.

Spotting the infection: If you look very carefully at previous photos, you can see a tiny white dot. It looks very similar to a scar, but is actually pus. That plus uneven swelling/soreness in the area was an infection. By day 8, it went from slight swelling to 3 obviously swollen sore lumps so I went right away. Though someone who hadn’t done a round of PMMA probably wouldn’t have known it was unusual. Honestly don’t overthink it, it’s very unlikely. I was just unlikely this time.

When this small cut heals in a few days, I’ll take measurements and return to aftercare (with Ian’s blessing of course lol)

Really hoping this round still works out for me and I don’t have any lasting issues or complications from the infection. Wish me luck, I may need it.

Hey Alias9,

How did everything turn out? Does Avanti do more than 25 syringes at a time? I remember reading that some users had to go to Dr. Rupeka if they wanted more. What is there upper limit of how many syringes they'll do at a time?

Also did you go for the glans filler too? I keep reading that it's only temporary.

And did Avanti say when is the optimal time to return? Another user answered this question, but I always thought 3 months was the soonest. My plan was to wait 4-5 months and do PE exercises to stretch and pump 8 weeks after my procedure.

Do you still plan on doing pumping and how's your recovery going?

Right now everything is good. Infection is gone, I’m at about 6.75” MSEG. Still on antibiotics to be safe after the infection.

I’ll likely go back for a final aesthetic round.

I tried pumping, and IMMEDIATELY got blood blisters at the site of the injections. So I won’t be attempting that for another month at least. I likely won’t ever pump again anyway since I’m already freaskishly thick. All future PE routines will focus only on length, at least after my next round.

I think Avanti would do over 20 if you pay extra. Their packages go into greater detail, but the typical package most people get covers 20cc, PRP, HA at the head, and Botox. You can get extra ccs seperately. But I advise you always go by what the doctor recommends. Why would you want more than 25cc at a time?? That seems like a recipe for nodules. Even me, after several rounds that make more filler easier, would not consider that much. Would it be 25cc at 10% or 30% or mixed? Keep in mind doctor Rupeka’s “vials” are only 0.8cc at 20%. So less than Avantis. It could be a measurement issue that has you confused. Good luck.

Yes, I did HA at the glans of the penis. It’s temporary and only lasts about 6 months. I don’t mind having a smaller head as it allows for easier penetration and makes length easier to see.

You can return as early as 6-8 weeks, but 3-4 months is optimal. I went early as I had a Nodule and was in a hurry. I’ll wait 3 months before my next round.
