Milky Fluid from entry point 9 days post op? 7 years 3 months ago #1297933933

Over the past few days I noticed An area that was a bit harder than the rest of my penis. About the size of a quarter. I had been wearing flannel boxers under my dress clothes so could hang free, and so I could wear the ESL a few hours at work. The high spot became red and sore to the touch. I went to the pharmacy yesterday and bought a mild hydrocortisone cream .5%, and applied it to the area and went to bed. This morning I woke up with a milky fluid coming out of an entry point in the area. When press around the area, a fair amount of fluid continues to come out.(see image) This similar to the weeping we experience at entry points, but much thicker, and the colour is mostly whitish, with a bit of yellow to it. The fluid does not smell unusual. Should I be concerned about this? Could this be an infection? Has anybody had the same thing happen to them. I also noticed my lower shaft and base Girth has increased .25-.4 above the entry point. Could it be remaining carrier from the PMMA? I\'ve stopped the ESL for a bit, and have area wrapped with a sterile bandage.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

That\'s an infection i think.

Your results look great too, shame that this has stalled things.

That\'s what I though. I e-mailed Ian asking for advice. Should I be trying to press out all the fluid, or just let my body deal with it, using the prescribed antibiotics. My left side of the shaft is sore and inflamed, soreness goes al the way up my base and into my public area.

This was taken 2 days ago. The weeping is just below this area towards my glans. I e-mailed Ian at the time, he thought it was just red and irritated, thus why I bought the cream. It started with a raised white pimple last night, and this morning was leaking fluid. I also noticed last night, I had a slight fever, that went way before bed.

Fever means infection.
I woudn\'t press on it. I think leaving it be and using the antibiotics is best
Also, Urologist is an option.
Better safe than sorry.

So I have an infection, and an abscess under my skin. Dr squeezed a lot of pus out of the entry point. Most of the inflammation and swelling went down. They are going to put me of IV drip of antibiotics. Currently sitting waiting for nurse to start the IV. Dr said he did not want to cut me open!!! Not the words I wanted to hear.

Home care IV antibiotics , and MRI of the area to confirm the infection is going away. I knew the aftercare was going too well!! Here\'s hoping everything clears up over the next few days.

Thank fuck you went and saw them.

You\'re dealing with it though.

I would expect the anitbiotics to work.

How did it get injected? During op or did you play with the entry site? Maybe impossible to know.

At least you didn\'t ignore it!

This happened to me from my 3rd rd. When I went back for the 4th, Dr C cauterized the spot because it never closed up...there was always a small hlole there where it oozed from. Now there\'s a pea size burn scar there.

Just one type of antibiotics. I require every 8 hrs of the next 4 day. Also not an MRI, but an ultrasound to. Are sure the pus and abscess are going away.

So for four days, no ESL, or to much playing with it. Not to much I can do about retraction for now. Although I am going to continue Cialis and the reminder of the flowmax

Perhaps my abscess is worse then yours because i got an antibiotics through iv for 3 or 4 hours then they cut that area open and squeezed out as much as they can. I was given antibiotics that lasted me for 2 weeks, and i had to use packaging to keep it open to get the pus out.

My entry hole was open this morning, I could squeeze a fair amount of fluid out myself. Dr squeezed very hard for about 2-3 min. Lots of pus came out. The area is far less swollen and hard than it was. I hope IV drip clears it up. I\'m very interested to see what the ultrasound looks like after 2 rounds of PMMA / PRP and now the abcess
