Where should I start? I am pretty exhausted so I will just briefly update. I will insert minor details that you can choose to ignore. The taxi from airport to gaslamp district where the popular hotels are in San Diego is approximately $20. I thought I had lost my tape measure so went on a hunt. CVS, Ace Hardware are right around the area but they don\'t have the flexible kind. If you need one, go to Ralphs supermarket, open 24 hours, and its in aisle 4 (i think).

The ride from the SD hotel to dr office is around 45 mins. At the border, you will have to take your luggage and go through scanner as the shuttle goes through its own scan (10 min).

I got to the office, and if I repeat what everyone else has said 100 times, it has to be said again. They are some of the nicest people I have met. I sat in a private room, where I connected my phone to wifi provided and surfed whilst I waited. And it overlooks a beautiful golf course and mountain view.

Wade came in, made me feel extremely comfortable, and talked about what to expect, and we chit chatted a little. The doctor came in 30 minutes later, and sat down with me to discuss what we would be doing. He is kind and professional answering all my concerns and questions.

I went into procedure room, got undressed in the bathroom, Mel took pics (didn\'t understand why they need to take the face) and get a cortisone shot in shoulder. All took no longer than 15 mins.

UPDATE PART II

The doctor comes in and we agree on 10%. I decided to let him do what he thought was best. I wanted to go back to basics, and not risk greater than I need to. The safer, the better. They get to work numbing the area, and the Dr then says, I will be concentrating fully on the procedure, and you may talk to Wade if you wish. Wade was continually making me feel comfortable asking me if everything is feeling okay, if I am feeling any pinching and so on. Every so often, he would update me and say its all going well which felt good to know. I did not look at the procedure being done as I do not know how I would have felt seeing that.

All in all I sat in the chair for approximately 1 hr 30, and I didn\'t even feel the time go by. The entire time I was made to feel super comfortable, and if I wanted to talk to Wade (who was helping the Dr) he welcomed me to talk to him. I chose not to chat much as I wanted the entire focus over there. I know they must have done this hundreds of times (maybe even thousands) but its such a sensitive area that I just wanted complete concentration.

They worked like clockwork making an excellent pair. Mel stood on the side handing the doctor whatever he needed. When the Dr. finished, Wade would carefully inspect the area making sure everything was perfectly even. If there was even a slight discrepancy, he told the doctor where there needed to be more put in. This happened 2-3 times attesting to the amazing attention to detail this pair has. I didn\'t feel any pain throughout. When all was finished, I was told it was 22cc (or 21cc) of 10%. Wade then massaged meticulously distributing as much as possible with tremendous patience. When he finished he went through the massaging procedure that I must maintain for the next 24-48 hours. I also got the stretching device since I have retraction, and I don\'t want it to bunch up if I retract. I will be staying in TJ so that I do not have to endure the ride back to USA, and miss out on crucial massage time.

I know that you probably all want pics, so here is one side by side pic. Just remember that this picture will have nothing to do with the final results. As we all know, the bruising and swelling accounts for a larger than final result. I have to say that I feel like a rock star! It just feels and looks so good. Its heavy and big. I wish it would stay this way. Something of note - when I took my before pictures, and had to pull open my gown, I felt slightly embarrassed and shy (even though deep inside I know they have done this hundreds of time), and then I quickly closed my gown.

When I did the after pictures I had my hands on my hips like I don\'t give a shit in the world, and letting it all hang out was just fine. Yes, I know I am not huge, and I probably never will be, but I already felt like a new man and just stood there staring at myself in disbelief.

Hey Todzilla - you can\'t be in better hands! They are positively tremendous. I didn\'t pay for the stretcher. It came with my procedure. Apparently, it is relatively new in terms of them giving it out so its theoretical whether it will help growers like me, but they have had positive feedback about it. PM anytime - I just came back and I can answer anything you want. I went into great detail in my update, more than what most people care for, but it is a pretty precise walk through of exactly what will happen. For someone like me that was pretty nervous going in, if I would have read that previously, it would have helped me.

I doubt he will recommend 30%. From what I have read around the thread and the theme I got from him too was that he wants to do what he originally started from Brazil and that was 10% and not to take risks with higher %. The reason for the higher doses was at the request of the patient, not the recommendation of the Dr. There is a recent thread discussing this. I think it was started by hoddle where he discusses changes that will be made in the practice to go back to a safer, more predictable route. Its a recent thread.

Just to update my progress and to add a few missing pieces of info. I took the Cialis given to me immediately upon arriving at hotel which was in Tijuana, so perhaps 30 mins after procedure. They said it would last 36 hours so that is great for a Grower like me. It should hopefully keep me elongated along with the stretcher I am wearing until the PMMA settles.

I have been massaging at approximately 1 hr intervals. This means 1 hr break, and then 30 min massage and so on. I found it hard to massage the first few times as there was friction but I started putting on arnica gel every time I massage which acted as a lubricant to make it smoother to massage. The easiest way to massage and even out irregularities is with an Erection, so plan to gets lots of erections Porn is your friend here although make sure to definitely not orgasm as that may just ruin your next massage session. Just think about it as a 24 hour tantra orgy session where you will reap the dividends at the end.

I don\'t really know what I am doing with the massage. The idea is to find bumps and lows and highs and massage them to even out. I can\'t really seem to find too many, but I still massage. Just a solution that you may already know, but may not be using. Virtually every computer, ipad etc has bluetooth wireless transfer capability. Just take a picture with your phone (I use Android) and click share via bluetooth, make sure you have it turned on your computer or ipad and set your phone to \"discoverable\" in the bluetooth settings. All that means is that other bluetooth devices can discover it, and a message will automatically pop up on your computer screen that a device wants to transfer a file to you. You click yes, and voila. Its really easy. If my instructions were horrible, just google it. Any suggestions and feedback from anyone on the pic below and the right side thicker than left side, please tell me so I can work on it during these critical 12 hours.

Congrats man! Glad everything went well. On a side note, I told the doc to do whatever he felt was good for me and he used 30% on me for both rounds.

Yup. My thread. Having received 10%, 20% and 30% I believe I can speak with experience on the subject. I also agree with Hoddle10 that a 15% concentration is likely ideal. On my next touch up, I will be receiving 16% (by means of titrating 2% and 30%). I will report on the outcome at a later time following my 5th session. As for \"out the box\" treatments, IMHO, 10% cannot be beat for aesthetics and naturalness/feel.
