Big John's New PMMA Procedure 13 years 1 month ago #1271111843

A little background first. I started PE, stretching, and Hanging in 2002. Original stats were 5.75\" EL and 4.5\" EG. I had surgery with Dr Giunta 18 months ago and did the lengthening first followed by an FFT three months later. The lengethening surgery gave me a longer Flaccid look but almost no gain in EL - that was accompished prior. The FFT was great for about three months but now has all but dissapeared. The good news is that everything down there is still in great shape and I\'m optimistic that I\'m a good candidate for the PMMA with Dr C. I just contacted them and will shoot for scheduling the procedure in late December or early January. This board rocks as I already have learned so much from others and their experience. My stats now are 6.75\"EL - 7\" when the stars and moon align, and 4.75\" EG. My glans is small as well and only measures 5\" E. I\'d like to get to 6\" EG midshaft and even bigger at the base but will discuss this with Dr. C. I am in my late 40s but in excellent physical shape. Questions for this board follow:
1. What is the best vitamin/supplement to enhance collagen production and how soon should I start it prior to the procedure.
2. I would like to fly home the same day of the procedure - will that put the PMMA at risk and would it be better to grab a hotel in San Diego and stay a couple of days until it sets.
3. What is a good clean hotel to stay at - night before and potentially a night or two after - in San Diego that the shuttle will service?
4. I\'m guessing 10% is the way to go on the initial round despite the fact that I will likely not even get close to my Girth goal.
5. I eat a healthy diet, supplement my protein, creatine, etc, and work out. Is there anything else I should include in my diet to max this procedure?
6. What is the norm for payment - wire, cash, or travelers checks. Not sure I want to walz into mexico with that kind of coin on me.

Will post pre-op pics later after I have a date locked in.

Vitamin C is the best. Cash is good. Hotel, up to you but I stayed at the Marriott and it was about $82 inclusive. Shuttle is great. I\'d stay one night if you can. I\'d ask for 20%, BUT discuss with Dr. C and Wade...Good luck!

Thanks Mustang. I will ask for an initial procedure with 20% to max my initial Girth gains. The first procedure appears to be the one that produces the most gains and I don\'t want to shortfall that opportunity. 1.25\" seems a little unrealistic after years of trying to convince my little friend to put some size on! lol But it\'s the minimum goal for me and maybe PMMA is the answer. Is the marriott in TJ or San Diego?

I\'m leaning towards the marriott in SD. To everyone that has done this, is it realistic to fly into SD in the morning, cross the border and have it done that afternoon, recross the border and check into the marriott SD in the evening, spend three days there recovering -massaging, stretching, etc, and then fly home on day four? I have the time and this way i could focus 24/7 on whats important for the 72 hours following the PMMA. I could also fly into SD the evening prior, and then only have the two border crossings and the procedure to deal with on D*** day.

3 Days recovery may be a tad excessive, but hey I don\'t blame ya if you wanna hang out in San Diego longer. My first round I flew in did the procedure that day and stayed in SD. For round two I flew in the night before enjoyed a good breakfast buffet at the Marriott TJ before the procedure then stayed in SD that night to recover before flying home in the morning which was much more relaxing.

Soma,
do you know if the shuttle will service the mariott on coronado as well? I might as well stay somewhere primo if i\'m going to be there for a few days. Was this your first round? No issues with heading out the next morning?

since collagen build is the most important piece of the amount of Girth you will gain from this procedure - I found this online looking for collagen building supplements. Will Dr C recommend ones that he thinks work best? Here is a cut and paste of one source on line:
How To Build CollagenBuilding and collagen Repair really has two parts. One part is to consume quality sources of collagen the form of gelatin, or a Biocell collagen supplement.Another new supplement that shows promise is Choline-stabilized orthosilicic acid. This product helps increase the elasticity and firmness of tissues containing collagen.Research has also shown that topically applied creams do have a beneficial effect on your skin\'s collagen. The other issue is to preventing damage to your collagen through glycation, cross linking, and enzymatic breakdown. This approach can help maintain a healthy collagen/elastin ratio, keeping your collagen containing tissues pliable. Here are some strategies for how to build collagen by protecting against collagen damage and breakdown:Eat a low glycemic diet to help prevent glycationEat plenty of beneficial fruits and vegetables to supply needed nutrientsUse antioxidants like vitamin-c, vitamin-e, pycnogenol, green tea, ect. To protect against free radical damageDrink plenty of water to maintain proper hydrationAvoid smoking, and excess alcohol intakeDo not overdo sun exposuretry to get 8 hours of sound restful sleep each nightThese strategies for how to build collagen should be implemented into your daily life as best you can. Sources of collagen for collagen Repair can be as simple as adding some gelatin powder to juice or a protein shake, or taking a few capsules per day of Biocell collagen.

I\'m in my late 40s so I\'m thinking my collagen building capability is already degraded. I plan to diet and supplement the whole month of december to prep my body for a january procedure. Than maintain it until I\'m through the 2 or 3 procedures to include recovery. thoughts?

I have been taking Vitamin C for weeks now. I noticed my collagen build up is faster this time, may be also due to 20%, but definitely faster.

Question: is there a test to see what your collagen \"factor\" is in one\'s body?

@ Big John - The shuttle will pick you up in Coronado. I\'ll be staying at the Hotel Del Coronado and will have the shuttle pick me up there. I\'ll have to try your collagen strategy. Makes sense.

Big John: When you underwent PE procedure with Dr. Giutma, did he use his current Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP Technique) with the FFT as he website states that this aspect of his procedure is new, but did not give a timeline as to when he began using it. I've been debating between Dr. Giutma and Dr. Elist techniques/procedures when I found this website, which appears to be a legitimate non-biased venue for PE evaluation. I of course am now interested in PMMA, but wanted to find out more about this procedure (cost, permanence, Doctors etc.), plus want to hear from anyone else who has undergone PE procedures with Dr. Giutma ( I found enough about Dr. Elist's already). This is my first post on Phallo Boards, though I have read quite a bit of material in various forums on here before joining, as I walk a fine line between 'contempt prior to investigation' and cautious open mindedness. I apologize for the length of this initial post, but need some guidance in making decisions as I am in a time sensitive situation as far as undergoing and recovering from PE procedures are concerned (need to be fully recovered 4-6 weeks from now). Please forgive me if I am displaying improper forum protocol or should post in different forum topic heading. I have been contemplating PE surgery for quite some time now (several years) and have tried (meaning did not follow directions and gave a minimum, inconsistent, 'old college try') everything from pills, topical solutions, pumps, PE stretching/exercising, extenders etc. with very limited results.

Dr Giunta was very professional as was his staff. Very happy with it all but my end results. I have a high metabolism and it ate the fat pretty quickly. I could have gone back in for a second procedure but declined. I did get the prp with it but it didn\'t help my situation. I know he injected a lot as well as I was 6\" at the base immediately following - my stretcher wouldnt fit and they had to give me the big size base so i could continue to stretch. I think if you had the leeway to get reinjected a few times a year this would be a good safe strategy but again, the erections are not as firm as the natural ones are - it\'s like a soft cusion over your shaft. The PMMA sounds like a much better way to go despite it\'s relative newness on the scene. I\'m convinced and have set a date of 6 January.
