TOPIC: Update: Tijuana Hotels

Thanks CHL - I once posted a reply to a topic on a forum from 2011 or something and then the mod was like \"This is 2 years old - do not necropost [wtf] you have been warned\". So, anyway...

Some of those seemed far from Avanti Derma. I\'m not sure how much discomfort there is - but I definitely couldn\'t walk too far after the surgery I just had. Are cabs and food safe/ok around all of those?

There\'s plenty of delicious food options local to those hotels & resort, from argentine steakhouses, to authentic mexican food \"craving mole?\", or Sinaloan style seafood, decent italian, sushi. The lists is pretty endless, but if you\'re looking for an all in one place with the comforts of a view of the ocean, excellent dining, and a comfy bed I would recommend Real Del Mar, Hotels.com or bookings.com has some great deals for Real Del Mar. Have the office call you a taxi or taxi van, every cab driver knows these locations. Real Del Mar is a golf resort, its off the private toll highway 1, about 20 minutes away from Aguacaliente blvd the location of your PMMA procedure. Mind you traffic conditions vary off that busy blvd. But if you need further food recommendations let me know, these hotels mentioned above are modern & are as safe as the marriott, well lit streets etc. If you\'re not familiar with the area and have some traveling fears send me a pm. I\'ve only eaten at Pueblo Amigo & Real Del Mar Golf Resort, but i\'m a fan of Hotel Velario\'s low daily rates. Real Del Mar has 2 private restaurants on the hotel grounds with executive chefs, prices are on par with apple bees or outback steakhouse (state side dinners). Pueblo Amigo is a working but the rooms are better than decent, i would recommend a jr suite, its $10 more than the normal room, booking from their website is the cheapest.

VITTORIOS (for pizza) or Merlot for italian, Merlot is located across the parking lot from the huge Caliente . Merlot serves my favorite pasta and sangria, its a bit romantic with the white linen theme, but they serve delicious cheesecake.
