Also some people claim HA may cause a small permanent increase through collagen formation, has anyone noticed any permanent increase once they let the HA completely reabsorb?

Had voluma 9 months now in 3 installments agree with all said. It takes ALOT to make a difference. Haven\'t had any finger imprints although I do edge alot but I have always massaged it one minute in the shower as a precaution. I\'m keeping detailed stats records and it\'s holding up OK so far. It\'s squidgy when soft for me, less so when hard. I have also developed some scar tissue but it seems to be going away, not obvious only I can feel it.

I have no doubt HA fillers are the future for PE but the manufacturers need to improve the filler consistency and duration for this specific application.

I have had some scar tissue too but it smoothed out. I actually love when I get scar tissue as it feels like a vein.

When you say it looks wavy without a touch up, do you mean the way it looks, way it feels, or both?
Would I be able to get away with a touch up once a year without anyone noticing any odd cosmetic issues?
If I\'m only going for 0.5-0.75 Inch gain, does that reduce the need for touch ups and make it less apparent that I\'ve had something done?

So far no one ?? By the look certainly not and by the feel either. I believe people won't notice if it is well done. Unless you have a stereotype overfilled silicone looking one no one should notice.

Wavy on the way it looks. It's very minimal. As I said before I put lot of pressure with my thumb when I jo that's why after a couple of months the HA has molded a little bit.

As for the touch up, everybody is different so I can't tell you if you'll need it sooner than later.

What do you guys mean by scar tissue? Scar tissue like a bump/lump at the injection sites? Or permanent smooth circumferential collagen deposition where it feels firmer or random ridges?

Thanks for your posts Gatit,

I think there is some variability on how things go over time between guys and probably between different products and injectors. At 7.5\" you are quite a bit longer than most guys (I would say my patients average about 5.5\") so you need 30 - 40% more product to get the same increase. The average volume I use is 15ml - but split into 2 sessions to get smooth.

There is so much to learn with this. we should be starting a new study soon - i just hope the patients are willing to get involved.

Dr. C states that most of his patient\'s Voluma reabsorbs in less than a year. Why the discrepancy between clinics in regards to duration of Voluma?

For the first time I had this comment:

''Weird, I can feel you're hard inside but what's around is not''

What I've learned is that the harder you get, the more it'll get noticeable.

When a natural Dick is hard, you feel the hardness of the shaft just underneath the skin.

With Voluma when you're semi hard you can't notice it but when super hard it can be noticed.

I remember having this discussion with Hoddle10 and he agreed.

So it's something to consider if you want to get it done.

That\'s one of the reasons I\'d never even consider HA.

This is true, but I should point out I\'ve spoken to guys who say theirs is firm. I\'ve seen/heard similar things with FFT. Some people say theirs feels perfectly firm and natural, while others, like myself, found the fat to be very obvious.

I think there are a couple of key variables at play here. One is the amount injected and the other is the skin compliance.

I think if the layer of HA isn\'t that thick, then it\'s going to be less detectable to touch. I 2-4mm thick layer of HA just wont feel that spongy. That doesn\'t sound like that much, but I think most people would gain close to an Inch of they added a 4mm layer of tissue to their penis. But anything over that, is likely to be more noticeable, as there is simply no way of getting around the fact HA just isn\'t anywhere near as firm as Erect penis. To put things in simple terms, you couldn\'t inject Erect penile tissue out of a thin needle, yet you can HA!

If one has relatively tight skin, it will keep the HA slightly compressed and therefore fell firmer. If one has loose, thinner, more easily stretchable skin, then the HA is going to be more mouldable or obvious to touch.

In your case, I think you simply have a lot of HA, so it\'s going to feel obvious. I\'ve got extremely loose, thin skin, hence I gained close to an Inch from just 11cc, as there was virtually no compression, but it just was really obvious to touch once the firm swelling went down. Hunkydory had both loose skin and a lot of HA injected, so he had both issues.

I still think you are a great candidate to try HA. In fact I\'d say ideal.

Nice analysis. It\'s my understanding that with FFT it is injected into the tissue between the superficial and buck\'s fascia, and I assume the same for HA. What is different about the way PMMA reacts over time? Is it building collagen that gives more firmness to the actual tissue in this layer? Back to something you raised a while ago, and I asked you about--having 1 round of PMMA after a couple rounds of FFT. Would a single round of 10 percent be enough to smooth or compensate for the texture should you find FFT does not work as well as you\'d like?

That\'s right.

I\'d imagine PMMA into FFT would improve the firmness sufficiently, as long as you don\'t have too much FFT. The issue you have, is that there is a chance the fat will continue to absorb over a number of years. I think ideally you\'d want to wait 2 years after having FFT before getting PMMA. We do have a member who has had PMMA into FFT and had a really good result:
