TOPIC: What is your gut feeling about pmma in the long term

If you search for PMMA and cancer, it is thought of as \'not\' to be a carcinogen after years and years of studies of it being used in other applications. This is not what scares me. The scary part to me is, the foreign body, no matter what it\'s made up of.. your body will always work to try to reject it - that\'s my fear anyway. Also, look at something like a chin implant. Hard silicone, meant to last a lifetime. Even after years there is always a chance of infection. If this happens, it has to be removed, the area needs to be cleaned up and the implant replaced. With PMMA this is hard to do and not something you would want to do.
Boob jobs, hip, knee and joint replacements.. all these surgeries can be redone pretty easily nowadays.. this one.. not so much.
After saying all this, I am still leaning towards doing it. If you look at life\'s big picture that\'s actually pretty sad.

Why you would ever consider doing such a thing unless you were desperate doesn\'t make sense to me. The risks are there and they can be disasterous.

Having said that it took me 1 month between finding out about the procedure to having it done.
I had nothing to lose.

I\'ve been away from this forum for years. I got PMMA in 2011 I have recently been experiencing swelling after sex. This was never the case before. It only happened after masterbating. Haven\'t really read the forum much has anyone removed moms if so where any particular US dr doing it?

Yes. Why would it swell after sex? It\'s also causing tingling feeling in the area (testicles)

That seems like a bit of an extreme reaction to swelling. How severe is it?

Normal swelling nothing huge but it\'s swollen. I do have a Nodule and ring in top part of penis. I\'m pretty sure that\'s what is irritating it or causing it maybe. Not sure but the top is the only area swollen

Hi I am trying to understand the swelling issue. I have had so many different dicks in my life I have no baseline. How do you know it\'s swollen? Is it tender, hot etc. my Dick is always different sizes - anxiety, heat, horny etc. thanks.

It\'s swollen different size after sex. Had sex this morning and it got swollen. Included pic it\'s very dark pic. The bottom is swollen more than usual I just checked.

Woah. That\'s kind of scary to see 6 years after getting the implant. Looks like serious swelling. When did this start? Was sex different in any way this go around?

Nope not different it swells there because that\'s where the Nodule is. Also I have a lot of extra skin there from getting Circumcised as an adult. If I\'m not Erect I can pull he skin quite a bit.

You need to establish the cause of the swelling and weather it poses any health risk
