Thanks but no thanks on the PMMA. I don\'t want anything unnatural inside me at all and I never want to go through anything like I went through when I did the fat injection years ago. I\'m perfectly content with going all natural from now on.

Who did your FFT?

Could you tell us a little more about your experience?

I had a fat transfer back in 1999. Shortly thereafter, most of the fat didn\'t take and the skin popped and a bunch of fat came oozing out. Yeah, lots of fun. This spot in the center of the shaft remained though. But it gradually hardended and died, leaving a permanent lump. This was so long ago that I don\'t recall the name of the surgeon. He was located in Houston, TX though.

Cav - some guys would pay to have a lump like that (maybe their partners would like it).

From the image I would still try to inject steroid - being careful to get it directly into the lump itself.

Hi Dr Oates,

You\'ve been a trememdous addition to the board and I\'m impressed by your honest, transparent approach and focus on safety.

I myself had some lumps and had steroid injections as you suggest here. I had 2 rounds of Kenalog into PMMA Nodule lumps.

Although the lumps reduced in size, I\'m left with a large patch of discoloration. It\'s a kind of brown colour and the skin seems very thin with a slightly different feel.

Do you have any advice for anything I can do, other than just waiting and hoping it improves?

Thanks in advance for any help and also for your general contribution to this forum.

See, that\'s the sort of thing I am concerned about with injections. I just don\'t want to make it worse.

I think any unwanted side effects gained from an injection carnt possible be as bad as the possible side effects from surgical Removal.

One of the guys from this forum told me that he had a couple of lumps removed. He said it was a pretty minor surgery under a local anesthesia that only took about 30 minutes. The surgeon made incisions right over the lumps and removed them. He said he had no scarring either because the incisions were pretty small. So, not sure what to do. I have an appointment with a Urologist on Monday. Maybe I\'ll know more by then.

I\'ve seen a small fat lump removed via a tiny incision right above it. It might actually have been Dr Horn who did it, as I seem to remember it was on a TV show and the guy later wrote a book about his experience. If it\'s just one lump, then I can\'t see why it couldn\'t be removed with a very small incision. When I saw it done the surgeon made a tiny hole then used some surgical tweezers to pull the fat through and then snipped it at the base.

The guy wrote a book about a lump on his penis? I can\'t even imagine what the cover of that book must have looked like or how many chapters one could come up with about something like that, lol. Maybe I\'ll start calling some publishers...

I\'ll talk to my Urologist on Monday about a possible steroid injection or surgery and see what he recommends. I still might drive down to austin to see Herb Singh too to get a second opinion.

No, the book was on his penis enlargement journey in general. But the documentary followed him having a top up and a small lump removed. At least I think it was that documentary where I saw the lump removal. There have been a few on UK TV.

Here is the book anyway,

Hi,

I dont always get back to a thread - but did this time.

Kenalog does have the tendency to produce discolouration from blood vessels. In my clinic it is not too much of an issue because we have IPL/Laser to treat that. It can certainly thin skin, in the same way it reduces collagen in a scar - so the injector has to be very careful with how it is injected. i learned this the hard way - and it is possible to improve via a technique called subcission. It may just improve with time too.

Good luck.

After reading through these posts about Kenalog injections, there is no way that I am even going to consider a Kenalog injection. It looks like removing as much of it as possible through an incision is most likely the best way to go. These Kenalog stories are scary!
