Wow, that\'s crazy. I have no idea who it is.
The pic I was talking about was from one of the journal articles posted here where the whole penis basically rotted off because
PMMA was injected in a blood vessel.
Anyway, I was posting now because I was seeing the
Dermatologist again. He put some silver nitrate on that spot...not sure why...I think it breaks down the excess tissue so healthier tissue can grow.
- For the ridges caused by the
Sutures - if these don\'t go away he commonly treats them with
Kenalog
- For the dents - if this doesn\'t improve, he treats the area with TCA which flattens the neighboring skin and also stimulates collagen in the dent. It can also be fixed with some needling procedure
- For the suture holes and tracks - he thinks those should fade
Nothing to do for a month though anyway. If I was degloved, I wonder if my surgeon would\'ve taken it all out or just cut the hard parts out. Maybe that would have been better than this piecemeal approach.
*Oh I should add the derm said it will NOT spread. That\'s bacterial-related
Necrosis...or situations where it gets in blood vessels (which has to be directly injected) as we\'ve seen in some journal article pics.
