@miracle7 - why were they against lengthening procedures? If you\'ve talked about this elsewhere, could you direct me to the right place? Gary Alter is also a Urologist I believe, and he performs lengthening surgery and recommends stretching post-op. He seems credible because, for example, he refuses to perform Girth operations bc he isn\'t satisfied that the outcome is reliable enough.

Dr Rosenthal told me prior to surgery that releasing my ligs (basically scraping down the pubic bone) wouldn\'t change my Erection angle or stability, and it hasn\'t despite reading on TP that it would. Not hating on TP, I love that place for non-surgical pe info, but it is NOT the best source of knowledge regarding Phalloplasty.

Soma, do you have a report on your lig cut procedure anywhere? I\'d love to know how it all went for you. By the way, did your surgeon use a spacer and are you still stretching?

I\'ll be away for seven days so I\'m sorry if I don\'t reply \'til then bud!

KFH,

I have the 9 months post op Belladerm thread in the patient support section that details my experience. It\'s a little tedious to read the posts I transposed from TP, but it was the only legit place to post for a while.

Regarding your question:
No spacer, but he does bundle up a little fat and place it there to inhibit re-attachment, so he says.

Best,

@ttar2380
The results from Ligamentolysis rarely satisfy most patients. While Flaccid length may be evident postoperative, an increase in Erect length requires diligent stretching of the penis over the course of many months. Many never gain anything even with consistent stretching. Soma, as I have mentioned before, is an ideal case scenario. He is young, determined and in fabulous physical condition. To my knowledge, he has gained slightly upwards of 3/4\" in Erect length and is still gaining albeit more slowly.

@miracle7 - thanks for the info. I agree that many people are unsatisfied by the lengthening procedure, but I think that could also be related to unrealistic expectations, or ongoing dysmorphia. For example, i understand that Erect gains are difficult to come by, and that the Flaccid will increase by 1 Inch at most. As a result, I think I would be less likely to be dissatisfied by modest gains.

Even when people are told they shouldnt expect more than half an Inch to maybe, 1.5 inches, they hope to be different and produce a two Inch gain or more in a matter of months. Of course they are nor pleased! lol

My doubt about the possibility of a second ligament cut comes from the fact that, after a given period, the area that was \'cut\' heals and \'retracts,\' even if traction has been used. Therefore, why couldnt they just cut it again later on to provide additional length OR just another window of opportunity to use further weights and traction to increase length?

It may be possible that another lig cut will produce more scar tissue and hence more retraction?

That is always a risk, but if one does the proper traction/stretching, it shouldnt. I need to do more research on this.

This people claim that penis enlargement surgery may be performed up tp three times:

But my guess is that they refer mostly to girth enhancement only.

They are talking purely about Girth. I\'ve met Sava Perovic and Rados Djinovic.

I have been looking for a medical answer to this question so i decided to write to a few surgeons directly, asking them whether a second lig cut surgery made sense, and how much they charged for it. Here is what I found:

The most honest answer: Dr. Reed, saying \"no benefiit\", just continue stretching.

The most honest and helpful answer: Dr. Harold Reed, saying \"You may not require any further surgery for length but simple dedicated usage of traction as I would personally recommend. A simple office test can be applied to determine if the ligament was released sufficiently. Most usually it is.\" He can do that test in his office/clinic, paying the consultation.

The most unhelpful and greedy answer: Dr. Alexander Krakovsky. He didnt commment or answered directly, rather, he has a non medical doctor as a middleman getting clients for him, Daniel Levin, who answers all questions. Levin said that yes, one can have second surgery and it will be treated as a \'Reconstruction\' worth 8,500 dollars.

An equally unhelpful and greedy answer: Dr. Camacho in Tijuana, whose office doesnt bother with answering any question directly to you but through his middleman, Dan Salas. It took me no less than 9 emails to get anyone to answer my questions. Dan Salas and his associates said that yes, you can have more than one, because he ahs had two, yet he would not give me the price for Camacho\'s surgery unless I commited to buying his PE gear and \'advice\'. I finally had Camacho\'s office giviing me a quote: 3,000 por a ligament cut, plus 1,000 dollars for Dan Salas\' advice and PE gear. At the same time Dan Salas gave me a quotation, and told me it was 4,000 dollars, even though I had told him I didnt need his PE gear nor his advice.

Make your own conclusions. In the end, its just a matter of whether the ligs were cut enough the first place. But I did learn a lot in the process. Among others, if you want to have your surgery with Camacho, you may save up to a thousand dollars if you get to him directly.
