TOPIC: Anyone familiar with Dr Morganstern in Atlanta

If Ellanse is not available for application in the U.S., how does Morganstern offer it? How can the patient be assured that this is genuine product if a licensed distributor isn\'t supplying it?

I asked Morganstern about this. He outright told me it is not FDA approved in the US, but that they have a channel to procure it. I saw the packaging, and have no concerns about it being fake. They have a reputable Urology practice, and are obviously knowledgeable about any liability that they are assuming for offering it to their patients. I know there are some loop holes with regards to physicians using non FDA approved devices, but I do not know all the details. But I do believe it is Ellanse that is being used.

Morganstern did the same with PMMA. Even when he could no longer get it he told one of your members that if they can get hold if it he\'d inject of for them.

As I understand it, it\'s not illegal to inject fillers that aren\'t FDA approved, but it\'s illegal to import them. We had a member once who knew all about this kind of thing, but he was extraordinarily arrogant, so very difficult to get decent explanations out of, so I\'ve never been totally clear as to what the law is, but it\'s something close to that.

The Ellanse they gave me was the real deal. I watched them bring them and open them up in front of me. I even took pictures of the boxes and compared to the Ellanse site directly
