TOPIC: What is the Blue Pill Shot? Botox for ED Explained by Urologists

There’s been a lot of talk online lately about using Botox for erectile dysfunction, but the terms get mixed together (Bocox, Grotox, Bulltox, etc.) and they’re not all the same thing. When we’re talking about Botox for ED, we’re not treating the skin or the scrotum. The real medical procedure involves injecting botulinum toxin into the erectile chambers (the corpora cavernosa), the structures that fill with blood during an Erection. That’s why it has a functional effect. Bocox and Bulltox are informal marketing names for Botox used this way, to improve erectile function. Grotox, on the other hand, is usually a cosmetic scrotal injection that has nothing to do with erections.

The goal of the real, functional version is simple: relax the smooth muscle inside the penis so blood can enter and stay there more easily. The best way to visualize this is with a balloon — if the neck of a balloon is too tight, you can force air in, but it takes a lot of effort and doesn’t stay inflated. Once that tension relaxes, the balloon fills naturally. Erectile tissue behaves the same way: when the smooth muscle is too “tense,” erections are weaker or inconsistent. When it relaxes, blood flow improves and rigidity increases.

That’s why this treatment appeals to men who can still get erections, but don’t like planning sex around Viagra or Cialis, or who get side effects like headache, nausea, heartburn, or flushing. This isn’t a replacement for implants or surgery; it’s a middle-ground option for men with ED caused by blood flow problems who want more spontaneity and better function without relying on pills.

Any idea how much a blue pill shot relax a penis so that it hangs longer?

@Alittlebigger The Blue Pill Shot is a treatment for erectile dysfunction related to blood flow that our men's health clinic can prescribe to our patients who need treatment with a PDE5 inhibitor (Viagra, Cialis, etc) but don't want to have to take a pill every time before intimacy. To know whether or not that would be a treatment option for you, we would first need to know your age, height, weight, whether you've been prescribed or have taken PDE5 inhibitors before, and whether you've had any medical diagnoses within the last 10 years.

This sounds like something I would like to do but unfortunately I'm all the way out in the west coast so can't really be jumping on a plane every few weeks for shots. I wonder if there are any providers that perform this service on this side of the states.

However, I am considering Rejuvall for my HA Girth enhancement later this year. I don't mind traveling for that since it'll be every few months instead of weeks.

But if you'd rather stay close to home, I'd suggest calling around to different urologists in your area to find out if anyone offers Botox injections for the treatment of ED.

Again, efficacy rates are different for everyone, but I completely understand where you're coming from.

We do not offer the P shot because we have found it offers very little reward in relation to the cost for the patient. But yes, both are possible after PMMA has become "settled" and it is generally safe to do so.

These injections do not "harm" or "infect" the implanted PMMA once it has "settled." The Botox is injected directly into the corpora on either side of the penile shaft.
