PMMA Removal and Reconstructive Journey 2 days 9 hours ago #1308725523

Hey everyone,

Didn’t think I’d ever have to hop on here but now I don’t know what to do and am throwing a life line out for some support.

Here I go:
HA - August 2023 20cc
PMMA - May 2024 - 30cc
PMMA - Jan 2025 was supposed to be a touchup 10-15cc but they ended up doing 30cc

PMMA Removal - March 2026
(*Read story below if you want)

Coming up on 6 months after Removal and I need to make a decision what do to fix this deformity that has occurred and remove the few hard nodules that were left behind.

Option 1: Removal + graft (same day)
Option 2: Remove (wait 6 months) then have either Graft, Himplant, or HA.

I know I’ll never get the Girth I had and tbh, I never needed it that big. This all started because I was trying to have a snugger condom on bc sometimes it would slip off after I ejaculated and that shit is embarrassing as hell.

At this point I just want the hard nodules that are sensitive and painful finally removed then something to mask all the irregularities/deformities along my shaft, and yes a bit of Girth would be awesome of course.

Now my biggest concern of all of this is the long road to recovery. What I was told was going to be a 3-4 week recovery may very well turn into a 1.5 year recovery based on some doctors recommendations. Was not expecting that and was sure as hell not what I signed up for. (I’m 36, just got broken up with my my gf of 2 years because we can’t have sex anymore.)

Unless it is possible to perform Option 1 and save me 6-9 months. I understand there are risks with doing this approach because vascularity is compromised during a PMMA Removal but in my case, I’ve already had about 80% of it removed. The only thing I need removed are these hard nodules and a bit of PMMA towards the base top of penis. And I know because I saw it, the PMMA filler created highly vascularized tissue as well.

Option 2 not only sucks because of the time but the pain, downtime for activities/exercising, additionally scaring, etc…

I’ve consulted with several doctors but maybe not enough yet and the only one saying it’s possible (because he’s done it multiple times before) to do Option 1 but he’d have to first evaluate me in person is Dr. Lee from Praum Urology in South Korea which I believe used to be Proud Urology. I’ve been definitely considering it but imagine flying all the way out there to get turned away or even worse he goes thru with it and this go bad.

After you read my story below, I’ve got a lot of PTSD going on right now, so it’s hard to trust some of these doctors.

So after all that said I guess what I’m asking for is some advice, success stories of doing a Removal and graft at the same time, any previous experiences or story’s anyone can point me to?

Any good doctor recommendations…

Are allografts a common Girth enhancement now days, it’s hard to find much data on long term results? Between Himplant and Allografts, which one is known to be more successful.

How is urofill? I met with a doctor who performs that and he suggested removing the hard nodules, recovering then coming back to him for filler. I guess this wouldn’t be as long as a recovery as a graft but just curious to know how the outcome has been with people.

I also think it’s strange that PRAUM or PROUD has only same day post op pics and nothing months or years out.

And the only sources I found were the handful of guys on here who had alloderm or megaderm so not sure how much I should judge because I feel like most people only come on here if they have something wrong. If someone’s is successful and they are doing great than why’d they bother going out of there way to brag about how well it’s going.

Anyways, I’d really appreciate anyone chiming in that thinks they can help me out here.

*After that second round I experienced a ton of issues. Both injection sites formed a long rope like Nodule that lead to seroma’s (or pockets) filled with fluid. After months of waiting I had to finally get them drained multiple times before they stopped filling up and finally hardened into something solid. I had multiple hard nodules that formed around my penis. One big one the size of a marble on the right side just behind my gland and a few others that were the size of a peas.
I decided to deal with them for almost a year but they were actually quite painful so I decided to start consulting doctors about removing them.

I was hoping the doctors would just cherry pick them out instead of degloving me. But after a few different consults they all seemed to recommend doing a ventricle and Circumcision incision. I also had some loose skin on the right side from earlier on expansion so I think that played a role too so that they could tighten it up and is why I would even consider doing that approach in the first place!

Anyways, I ended up going with a Dr. Bidair in San Diego who stated he’s had a lot of experience doing this PMMA Nodule Removal and at the time I believed he did. He was the first sponsored person in my google search, literally has performed 1000’s of Circumcision and other sorts of things around the penis, and serves in the board for Urologist.

After 5 months from our first consultation I decided to go for it BUT only because of how he explained to me he’d be doing it.

He spoke so calm and confident about how he was going to approach things. I even asked him if he wanted to review MRI images I got so he could better understand how close or adhered the nodules were to different anatomy but he said no I’ll be able to see everything just fine once I open things up.

So yah, to my understanding he was going to do the incision approach, pick out the scar tissue left from seroma and hard nodules, remove a strip of loose skin on the right side to tighten things up and stitch me back up. He also said it would be done under local anesthesia and the procedure would only take 1-1.5hrs. I explained to him how I am in the middle of starting a business outside of my day job that required me to move around a lot and he told me not to worry that the recovery time would only be 3-4 weeks. I even drew him a detailed diagram the day I showed up to ensure he didn’t miss anything.

Now this is where it gets dark…

I was a bit freaked out so I paid $200 for some laughing gas, well that ran out within 45mins and kept thinking I only had 45mins left. But NOPE. More like 4 more hours. I basically blacked out and couldn’t understand what was taking so long. It smelt like burnt skin the whole time and I was sweating in pain the whole time.

When I finally sat up and took a look at what he had done I felt lifeless. He took probably no joke a pound of fibrovascularized tissue that formed from the filler (my Girth). And right away I could see that he missed the marble sized Nodule just behind my gland on the right side and 3 others and didn’t remove an area of tissue on top toward my base. There was blood all over floor and a pound of my Dick sitting on the table. It was an absolute nightmare. The guy even asked to give me a hug on the way out (that’s when I knew I was fucked).

About 10 days later I developed a large sermona like the size of a golf ball in the upper scrotum area and seemed to be attached to my corpus spong. It was probably the most painful thing I’ve experienced and I have a high pain tolerance. I asked him to prescribe me something for the pain since he kept telling me to just wait it out and try wrapping and putting pressure on it.

After 4 days I couldn’t take it anymore and told him I’m either going to the ER or I coming to you. I showed up to his office and he did an ultrasound and saw exactly where the fluid was. I could even fill the ball and told him if he stuck this exact spot he’d pierce it and I bet fluid was come spitting out. But nope, he decided to cut a half Inch incision in my scrotum and stick some shape tipped scissors in there and started opening and closing them in attempt to pierce the sack but it wasn’t doing shit. I was honestly looking at him, like what the fuck are doing as it just seemed way to invasive for what needed to be done. After that wasn’t successful, he took a syringe pierced exactly where I said and BAM, the sack drained and the pressure/pain went away immediately. Well, I wish that was the end of that but nope, whatever he did with those scissors, chewed up some anatomy to where my right ball only hangs half way done. And when I pulled on it, it feels tethered to something and doesn’t budge like my other one.

After requesting to read his surgical report I learned he had performed an “intense upper scrotol dissection” and had to place several internal stiches. Funny thing is he never once mentioned it nor that it could be a possibility for the seroma.

At the end of the day, I just glad my Dick didn’t fall off even though I completely regret trusting that doctor and especially doing this awake. I can’t go in past so my only option is to move forward and find the best solution but it is very hard when all these doctors have different approaches to “solving” this. I thought this last guy was going to, but he clearly did not so I need to be extra cautious because I feel like this is truly the last shot I’ve got.

If you don’t mind me asking, who did your PMMA and did you do aftercare after each round?

I’m sorry you are going through all of this. I truly hope for the best for you. I’m no expert but I can’t see how option one would be without serious risks due to the amount of trauma in that area. I also would like to know who did the original work. Please pm if you aren’t comfortable posting it. Best of luck either way

I’m sorry going through this. Check some of my post about the same topic.
My Removal was 18 months ago and I still can’t feel 2/3 of it. I can rarely have an orgasm and when I do it’s painful.

If you ever find any pictures of a degloved penis that has healed, I would love to see it because that has been discussed as a possible second surgery to remove the rest of it. I just would feel better if I could actually see what that would look like. The only pictures I’ve seen are immediately after and that doesn’t do much good.
