TOPIC: 5S Surgery Experience with Praum Urology

Hey everyone

Been an occasional lurker on here and various PE subreddits over the years. I have surgery scheduled with Dr. Lee at Praum Urology (from the former Proud Urology) in Seoul later this month. I'll be documenting/journaling here as a way to pay it forward since I found the information on this forum invaluable in my decision. Thank you to everyone who shared their procedure experiences on here both good and bad!

Before I go through with it I just want to probe the hive mind on a couple things:

1. If anyone has had a negative experience or knows of anyone that had a negative outcome with Dr. Lee... please share!

2. I'm still torn on whether or not to do the ligament release. Dr. Lee is pretty clear that there are no Erect length gains. But I've seen some reports of modest EL increase from ligament release on here. Heard retraction is also a possibility though. It would make the healing process more difficult and I'd have a scar. If there was a possibility of 0.5-1" EL gain I'd say it's probably worth it. Flaccid increase is attractive as well but maybe not worth it by itself. What's the consensus on ligament release here? Is it risky? Or anyone care to share their experience?

Respectfully, I will change the topic title to exclude Proud in the name because it can be unintentionally misleading -- Proud's Surgeons have moved onto new brand identities, whereas the topic title here can make it seem as if Proud had a name change -- that is to say, Praum isn't formerly Proud technically speaking, but it does have Dr. Lee (not to be mistaken with another Dr. Lee here from Northern California) that used to work for Proud when it was still open for operations, and I changed the wording every so slightly to reflect that.

I appreciate everyone's understanding in this regard moving forward regarding newer Korean entities that may have had prior associations with Proud; they all carry over the professionalism and innovations from the old, but also with new ambitions and new visions with their respective Clinics.
