Hello everyone,

I had PMMA injections in my penis 2 weeks ago at Avanti (Utmost package). Since then, I had normal swelling which subsided around week 1. After the first week and now in the second week, I feel pain at the base of my penis, particularly at the underside (see photos). I'd say it is mild and slightly uncomfortable. The skin in this area feels hard, lumpy and sore.

My measurements (erect sizes and bone pressed for length):
Pre-procedure: Length [~5.5 to 6 inch] | Girth [4 inch]
Post-procedure (week 2): Length [~5.6 to 6.1 inch] | Girth [4.5 to 4.6 inch]
Amount of PMMA injected: [20cc of 30% Linnea Safe and 1cc at 10%]

I followed all aftercare and have now begun cialis 2.5 mg daily in addition to collagen peptides, zinc, vitamin c, vitamin d, calcium, magnesium, and electrolytes.

My questions:
1. Is pain like this still normal at 2 weeks?
2. Could this be an infection or complication? Is there a possible migration into my balls or other delicate area?
3. Should I still expect growth?

P.S: still stretching with the ball thingy that Avanti gave.

I am worried and want to know if I should see a doctor or if this can still be part of normal healing. Thank you for your advice and I intend on keeping the community posted on my journey :)

I had the same problem as yours after my injections at AD. At first, I thought it was just swelling, but several months later, I realized that it was the filler that had overflowed and ended up under the penis near the scrotum. More than a year later, I still have this bean-sized lump, which seems to be connected to the filler on the penis.

I don't know if it's the same for you, but in my case, it's clearly a negative side effect of the injections, and the only way I can fix it would be to have it surgically removed. Also, once in a while, this area itches for a few hours, then it goes away.

So no, I don't think this is normal part of healing, but I'm not a physician and only time will tell in your case. But it seems to be one of the risks associated with this procedure, which is still rarely performed worldwide and still has a semi-experimental status.

Thank you @moes . I'm curious though. Aside from the occasional itching, do you feel any kind of pain in that area? I reached out to Avanti and was told that it could be filler pressing on a vein hence the slight pain and discomfort but it will be temporary.

No problem. I can get some slight pain if I put some pressure on it, as if that lump was stuck between layers of tissues. It's hard to describe, but it's really not moveable like the other filler on the top of my penis. But on a day to day basis, I don't feel it, except for some itching that occurs approximately once a week and lasts a couple of hours.

The underside portion you are circling in the images can remain mildly tender (shouldn't be high pain) for a bit, and it will soften over time. Hard to explain, but seeing pictures of it brought back memories of little nuances I completely forgot about... had my 1st procedure in the Summer of 2011 with no complications to date. I wouldn't be concerned unless the pain worsens ... in fact, since it is still somewhat sore 2 weeks out, I'd go easy on sex and/or masturbation for a few more weeks just to ease it down (you've waited long enough to get work done, what's an extra month?).
