Slow Progress with hyaluronic acid filler, PhalloFILL Dallas, Mr. Moore. 2 weeks 1 day ago #1308719688

I will be posting geared for people in the future to read. Meaning I will be doing my updates by editing this post so that they don’t have to dig through a long thread unless they feel like it. When I make an update edit, I will also reply to the thread to bump it. I will be attaching pictures in other posts to keeps things separate, give me a few minutes to post.

Goals
I’m looking to gain 3/4” girth. I am VERY much interested in maintaining a nice aesthetic appearance with proper proportions as much as I want girth. I picked PhalloFILL precisely because they go slow, and also use the silicon sleeve. I picked HA because it can be revised and has a safer profile. There’s a PhalloFILL in my home state but I drove to Dallas to have Mr. Moore do the procedure because he seems to really care and be interested in aesthetics as much as girth.

Starting Measurements
8” bone pressed
7” non bone pressed
about 4 3/4” girth, maybe a hair less.

Before pictures

First Visit
My first visit was Nov 13 (I’m posting this from the future).

Mr. Moore gave me 8 units, 9.6cc. He applied the silicon dressing tube and also informed me that they had started to use a lanyard style cock ring (loosely) to prevent the filler from escaping the shaft. The next day the swelling had gone down remarkable quick. I bruised lightly. I had a complication from the ring, and the gains were less than I expected. Mr. Moore is very nice. I was very pleased with my visit to his clinic. I have a couple of negative things to go over but all in all I’m happy to be working with Mr. Moore.

COMPLICATION
The cock ring was uncomfortable, but I thought it was just the sticky sleeve chaffing the base of my shaft. But, after a day and a half it started looking like there was tissue damage above and below the ring. So, I removed it, and over the course of a day the skin where it was turned into a purple brown ring around the base of my penis. After 4 to 5 days that dark skin sloughed off and scabbed over. It’s still slowly healing. I’ve still been using the cock ring but I’ve put it on TOP of the silicon tube instead of below, and slightly higher than the damaged tissue so as to not make that worse. It seems to be effective without damaging tissue this way. I want to be very clear, that this isn’t as big of a problem as it probably sounds like. It was pretty minor. Also I have not yet communicated this feedback with Mr. Moore, so to be fair it’s possible that I wasn’t following his instructions properly. It isn’t urgent so I don’t see why I should bother him with it now. I plan on letting him know at the next session.. I’m not upset, and I’m counting this as the minor cost of being on the bleeding-edge of a relatively new cosmetic procedure.

Complication pictures

SMALL GAINS:
I expected there to be about a 1/4” of girth gain, but there’s nearly been zero gains. Visually it looks like there’s been changes to me, but. It’s not borne out by the tape measure. My girth is still roughly 4 3/4”, but I possible gained about 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch. I was very worried about negative aesthetic changes, so despite the lackluster gains I’m still very happy because my penis still looks nice. @Agent5 tells me that this isn’t too out of the ordinary so I’m considering this underwhelming result to be a ‘foundation’ that something great will be built on.
(Edit: in all honesty I’m a pretty bummed out, I had a bit of a breakdown when I saw the results, but I’m trying to stay positive. I’m genuinely optimistic about round 2)

This is the damage I experienced from the ring. The picture that shows the brown ring are about a day after I adjusted how I was wearing the ring. The picture that doesn’t have the brown ring is approximately 10 days later after the skin had slough off and I’ve been treating it with antibiotic cream.

Sorry to hear you are underwhelmed by your procedure. I wonder if it's due to your decent starting size and also the type of filler and its thickness.

I recently had my first procedure with 9.6mls of RHA 4 manufactured by Teosyal (Teoxane). During the procedure it didn't seem like such a noticeable increase but the Dr pre-emptively said it will expand as it draws in water. And that did happen (along with swelling). My baseline is 6" BPEL 4.5"EG so probably more noticeable a change on me. I should probably do a progress thread to give back to this super valuable website that helped me.

A few things come to mind here. The first and most important with the size is you cannot measure yet and assume this is your final result. Remember PhalloFILL is the only procedure that uses a post care compression garment. COMPRESSION. The dermal filler is compressed and the water can be completely pressed out of the dermal filler. It could take up to 2 weeks for the dermal filler to be hydrated after you remove the compression sleeve. You certainly can’t get an accurate measurement while you are actually in the process of wearing the sleeve. The reason you “look better” but don’t seem to have any size gains is because the dermal filler molecule is in your penis as it should be…. Creating scaffolding, making it look better… but it’s dehydrated reducing perceived size gains. Also the sleeve dehydrates your other tissues in your penis temporarily so you can actually be smaller than prior when measuring while in the process of wearing the sleeve. For now measurements are not reliable. Don’t let that bother you for now. Just give it time.

As far as the crusty ring. It’s very possible more likely that you are allergic to this product. It is not a medical grade silicone. Medical grade silicone cannot hold the pressure needed for a ring like this. So for you it seems best to keep it on top of the sleeve so that it isn’t touching your skin. What you described sounds like a reaction to the skin. It won’t happen for most people. I haveused it on about 45 patients now and this is the first skin reaction I’ve been made aware of.

And as far as comparing the RH4 to Versa. Every provider is going to tell you they chose the best dermal filler for you.

Here are the facts about the two dermal fillers in comparison:

1. Revanesse Versa has 25mg/ml of HA compared to 23 mg/ml of HA IN RH4. So you definitely get more HA which will yield more volume, no question. See attachment showing concentration of HA per ml.

2. Safety data from the FDA show that Revanesse Versa has a better safety profile. I’m attaching a safety study from FDA data. This shows the adverse events of interest pulled from the last 595 reported total adverse events from data collected by the FDA. I have an entire post about this. SkepticalOne can post the link where I explain it better. But RH4 has more adverse events of interest which happen to be granulomas, hyper sensitivity, and inflammatory nodules. This is important to me as a provider.

3. G prime: I see conversations on here about the g prime but I don’t think it’s always understood completely in the situation of penile girth enhancement versus free floating in the face which it is intended to be used. G prime basically tells about the firmness and elasticity of a product. And I believe penile girth enhancement patients forget that this is irrelevant when the penis is erect and they assume a firmer filler with a higher g prime will produce a firmer erection. This is not the case. Remember our actual erections are from blood. We get a firm, rigid erection from the pressure of the
blood on the outer layers of fascia. Specially the dartos fascia which is the outermost layer of fascia. Because of the pressure on this fascia, and the fact that properly administered dermal filler is behind the dartos fascia, ANY filler with ANY g prime is going to be just as rigid and firm behind the dartos fascia when it’s under the pressure of an erection. Remember this is assuming it’s injected correctly. If it’s outside the dartos fascia between dartos and skin, it’s going to be a gelatinous lumpy mess no matter what. It’s never going to be firm in an erection in this situation. That being said…. The g prime for RH4 is higher. It’s 328 in RH4 compared to 126 in Revanesse Versa. An observation of a thicker product will only be noticed in the flaccid penis when it isn’t under pressure. I just don’t think the g prime is important in our application. This is not the same for the face. It’s very important in facial aesthetics.

Hope this helps,

William

@PhalloFILL thanks for popping in, that was unexpected but welcome. The skin sensitivity does make a lot of sense. As I mentioned, it was worse on the side that my penis naturally lays which would logically increase the skin contact surface area.

I really do appreciate you being so willing to communicate. As I mentioned, I’m still optimistic about the results, more so now after your explanation. Looking forward to getting round two after the holidays.

Between Versa filler and RH4 which would you say is longer lasting? Firmer feeling? Easier to inject evenly and uniformly?

That was really interesting to read. Seems Mr Moore perhaps didn't communicate clearly or fully the post-op process and what and when to expect results, as you have.

Hopefully I'm not one of those RHA4 statistics you cite!

I completely discussed his post care instructions thoroughly both verbally and written. The information I have presented here is information I use in a 2 day training class. Not a 45 minute treatment. I cannot tell a patient every thing about Dermal Filler injections in the time allotted for a treatment. No one can. That’s one of the reasons there is PhalloBoards.

Mr. Moore was actually very informative during and after the procedure. It’s a lot of information to take in, but as he mentioned he gave me written information as well, and a contact number that I could directly reach him with text messages during off hours, which I used and he responded quickly. And he’s also been nice enough to show up here, despite me not even @ mentioning him.

If I would describe him the first thing I would say is that he’s very eager to communicate and informative. I feel very well taken care of.

Also, I chose to not text Mr. Moore because I didn’t feel either issue was time sensitive and couldn’t wait for my next session. Based on our exchanges, I imagine he would agree, that if I had texted him about either issue he would have promptly given me assistance.
