Hi, I recently met with a urolgist about some ED issues. He said since I have the filler, it was hard to read the sonogram (?) to determine venous flow leakage and they had trouble getting the regular trimix needle in. He said trimix may not be very effective for me. He said shockwave (focused or radial) would most likely not be effective due to the filler, the shockwave not being able to get through it.

Has anyone else had this experience? I don't want to spend 2500-3000 on shockwave if it's not going to be effective.
On a positive note: the ED has improved quite a bit with TRT.

Interesting
First time i heard that shockwave is not effective when having fillers. And fillers are niche, so no wonder this was not studied.
I think it's speculation? Hm. Hard to say.
Shockwave's science is i personally think not super-solid, i mean i guess there are small studies with kinda good results, and i think it's not much studied against placebo and how long does it help anything or something.
I bought a shockwave, i did some cycles and it's not superclear-results for me.

if you're getting that result from TRT I would say there are way better ways of handling ED than shockwave.
You get your test dialed in (I may try the ball cream route soon myself in addition) and get your E2/Prolactin to sane levels you'll string together enough successful romps you'll forget you ever worried about ED, unless you do have an actual vascular issue (which i doubt).

Logically I would absolutely assume a greater distance to the cavernous bodies would mean standard shockwave therapy wouldn't work (assuming it does in the first place) out of the box with settings dialed in for filler-free dongs. Likewise I had the same flirtation with trimix and decided I'd feel uncomfortable going through a layer of stuff that's not meant to be in the bloodstream to shoot my donger up. So, I found alternatives.

I think his take on it makes sense sense the waves from the sonogram barely got through. And they only got through in an area where there wasn’t much filler so a shockwave wave may have the same difficulty. Course I don’t know the difference in strength, but it’s sort of makes sense. I am getting Results from TRT so I’ll continue with that. Interested in getting more information about shrinkage though

@atxguy
I heard that shockwave therapy can reduce penis size (length) - this is non-sense or is there a potential risk?

I never heard anything saying that ever (besides you just now, where did you hear that, or are you just checking) - seems totally nonsensical to me.
